               SOMEONE SERIOUSLY NEEDS TO TELL FELICITY THAT NOT ALL DREAMS COME TRUE.

Yeah, she's a big dreamer. She spun fantasies like gold, as intangible as a wish, yet as real as the raging rivers and breaking soil of the Earth. They were the path given by her generous mind, an offering to dance into a future that called for her roving soles, whether it was a ride in her bright yellow Dodge Charger or the sandy beaches, her most favorite place in the entire world. It was all a large figment of her imagination that came to her often, her mind buzzing with vibrant colors that weren't the leaden grays and colorless walls of Hogwarts.

               But seriously, Felicity Eckert is in dire need of a reality check to remind her that she will in fact, not become a world-class rockstar / poet / full-time hippy, own seven dogs all named Chowder, and travel to fifteen countries before the age of twenty, as soon as she leaves her required magic school.

With a famous wizard Auror for a mother, and a Muggle father who ran away as soon as he discovered the world of magic, Felicity is absolutely done with the Wizarding World. As soon as the last minute of the last class of the last year she has to spend in the gross, gray castle of Hogwarts passes, she is splitting, heading back to the Muggle world to do who-knows-what with only the certainty that she will not be using magic again.

Because magic is not a gift. It's a curse. One that drove off her father and corrupted her mother. So yeah, she's in love with Muggles and couldn't care less for wizards. Not a big deal at all!

Regulus Black, however, shouldn't be and most definitely isn't curious about Felicity, especially since he comes from the cruel posse of 'pureblood pricks' as she would call them, and is getting closer and closer to some severely dreaded news from his parents. Coming from two ends of the spectrum, both seem to know exactly what direction they're heading—precisely in the opposite ones as each other.

It just so happens, 1976 was beginning to become impossibly boring for Felicity, and after having been assigned said 'pureblood prick' as a Potions partner, she's made it a mission to show him just how much he's missing in the 'normal people' world, all while he is doing absolutely anything to avoid her.

           Unfortunately, Regulus Black is not very persuadable. But lucky for them both, Felicity Eckert does not give up!
