Chapter 1

Error sat to himself in the anti void, listening to the silence past the unending screams and whispers. It wasn't easy to ignore the voices, but he managed to block out the never ending screams with their harsh words and mocking tones.

"Aww, what's wrong? Did we hurt your wittle feewings? Hahaha!"

"Pfft! What feelings?! He's an unremorseful serial killer! Only a true monster could kill millions and feel nothing."

"Guys stop, he's obviously too stupid to even realise that we're insulting him."

"Aww, but it's-"

Silence... Error gripped his torn jacket as he felt a sudden burning in his soul.

"Well, would you look at that? Time to get off your lazy ass Error and destroy!"

Error bit down on his tongues as he got up like an old robot turning back on to go through another day of misuse and improper maintenance. The creaking, grinding, and popping of his bones could easily make his own enemies turn green with disgust. Dust poured to the floor and it was revealed that he had his ribs torn out and broken off in a previous fight, but they only began to grow back as Error's strings shifted into the shape of ribs and solidified, making do with what he had.

He stumbled for a moment which was a big mistake and he felt an agonising pain shoot through his soul, knocking him to the floor, much to the amusement of the voices as they cackled. He huffed and got up again and waved his hand, summoning a glitchy portal and walked through.

The moment he entered the new au Ink created, he immediately wished he didn't. It appeared to be a copy of Underfresh with all of the bright, neon colours splattered everywhere. He sighed, wishing he had sunglasses, and set to work on killing off the inhabitants.

Ink sat to himself in the doodle sphere, coming up with ideas for a new au when he noticed one of Underfresh's codes was destroying itself. Normally, Ink would chalk this up to it being a new code and therefore, wasn't stable, but since Error always destroyed Ink's newest creations, he was willing to bet his nonexistent soul on the latter. He huffed in annoyance and grabbed his Broomy before hopping through a portal to Underfresh #759.

There, he appeared in Judgement Hall just in time to witness the Sans turn to dust with Error behind him with the human's soul in hand. "Error! Stop this right now!" The colourful skeleton said nothing and turned to look at Ink. Ink flinched at the sight of Error, he always was a squeamish individual and whenever he saw Error reminded him of that.

"StOp WHaT iNK? DesTROyING? YoU knOW THaT I cAn'T dO thAT."

"Yes you can Error! There is no need for destruction! Just...tell me why, why do you destroy my beautiful creations?"

Error frowned in annoyance. Time and time again, Ink always asked and his response? "I reAlLY cAN't TeLL yOu InK." He then turned away, as if to go after Asgore now. Moments later, he lazily stepped to the side mere seconds before red ink shot past him, hitting the wall and scorching it.

"Not. Another. Step." Ink straightened up, gripping his paintbrush tightly. "I don't want to keep fighting with you Error, I just want to know why you destroy but if you take one more step towards the throne room, I will be forced to hurt you."

Error rolled his eyes and summoned his strings. "HoW MAnY TiMEs mUSt i SAy iT? I. CaN'T. TeLL. yOU!" The moment Error finished his sentence, was the moment that he shot his strings at Ink. However, Ink used his red paint to burn the strings and his black paint to create a wall to take cover and devise a plan, much to Error's annoyance. "GeT OUt HeRE, RaINbOW aSShOlE!"

Ink took a deep breath and teleported behind Error with his paintbrush drawn out and splashed purple paint onto Error, the paint instantly turning into chains. Suddenly the growl of a gaster blaster was heard behind Ink, causing Error to smirk and Ink to whip around and swan dive out of the way. It blasted at Error, only destroying the purple chains, giving Error enough time to open up the universe's code and destroy it before hopping through a glitchy portal and leaving Ink behind to escape the crumbling world himself.

Error stumbled to his knees, clutching at where his soul was. He hated to destroy universes that still had its inhabitants, but with Ink right on his tail, he had no choice but to destroy thousands of aus with its inhabitants still alive. He let out a glitchy sigh and got up, stumbling over to his spot and flopped down among his box of treasures. 'A small nap couldn't hurt.'

(Still not good at writing fight scenes but it's okay! Sorry that it took so long to get this chapter out.)
