Can't we lie a bit and make the world look perfect in the eyes of a child?

Namaste! Writing after longest of times... Our world isn't perfect... Far from it actually... But can't we make it look perfect for a child... Now you may ask me why? Why to do that? Many parents now a days don't... They feel it's important to make that child acquainted with the harsh realities of the world.. Fine.. Do that.. Then what will you get? The child will lose its innocence.. If you are doing this for protecting the child... Why not do it in a dignified manner... I know that it's the fact,  the undeniable truth... But is the knowledge of that truth must for a toddler or even a little older child.. Why not make them delusional for sometime and let the natural humanity in them grow.. And then tell them all these? Just some thoughts...
