Speaking of which, didn't I leave off at a cliffhanger? Right! Let's see what happens next.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Shota Aizawa searched back and forth along with Mandalay for any students. It was getting pretty bad now, having half of the forest filled with this toxic gas from an unknown source and no sign of villains or students.
"Eraserhead, there's no one here either." Mandalay reported as she looked down.
Aizawa shook his head. "There must be at least one villain on the loose." He noticed Mandalay staring at the ground, when he saw it.
Footsteps....but whose were they? They seemed faint but still new. They were fairly small.
"Did you send any kids from either class toward this direction?"
Mandalay shook her head. "No. But these are too small to be from one of the students." She narrowed her eyes and thought for a moment. She gasped as she realized who it could be. "He could be close by!" She said before going ahead.
Aizawa sighed, grumbling to himself something about this being a possible set up. He followed behind, however, keeping a close eye on his surroundings.
He had a bad feeling about this. Ever since Tsuyu Asui told him about Midoriya being involved, his suspicions were getting the best of him.
That kid was too out of control with his quirk. He was still breaking his fingers. If anything, the villains probably only use him as bait or something.
Mandalay spotted something in front of her, making her stop. She looked back at Aizawa. "Blood... Kota must've gotten hurt!"
"We can't panic just yet. Where was the last time you saw your nephew?"
"I-I don't know. We ate dinner and he just wandered off... I thought he would come back by now." She frowned. She looked back. "You don't think?"
Aizawa frowned and simply sighed. "Find him first. I'll keep finding more students."
Mandalay nodded and stepped forward. A twig snapped, causing Aizawa to look back at her.
In the distance, there was a sound of soft crying coming a child.
"K-Kota, are you okay?!" Mandalay bolted ahead, Aizawa following behind cautiously.
Soon enough, they found a small figure curled up behind a tree, quietly crying.
"Are you hurt?" Aizawa approached closer.
The boy shook his head and looked up. "Auntie, I thought they killed you! There were a bunch of villains everywhere. I didn't know what to do!" He whimpered.
Mandalay furrowed her eyebrows and kneeled beside Kota. She embraced him softly. "Oh, Kota, I'm so sorry! I should have looked for you sooner. Are you okay?"
Kota nodded and wiped his tears. "But it's too late." He frowned.
"Too late?" Mandalay asked.
"Yes. It's too late. You're too late to save me."
Aizawa sensed something was off here, so he remained where he was.
"What do you mean? You're fine, aren't you?" Mandalay examined him.
Kota chuckled a little bit. "No, I'm not. Auntie, you let me die!" He stood up. "You weren't able to protect me. You were too late!!" He grinned.
Mandalay's eyes widened as she fell back in shock. "What? Kota, w-what's wrong with you?"
Kota smirked before lunging at her. "You let your nephew die so easily!"
Mandalay gasped, getting up on her feet. She was suddenly stabbed in the leg by a sharp knife, Kota chuckling as he held it there.
Aizawa activated his quirk, looking right at Kota. Just then, an explosion of grey slime went all around. It fell on the floor, splattered on trees and spilled onto Aizawa and Mandalay.
Mandalay shook in fear before looking right in front of her at a blonde teenage girl where Kota stood. "Sorry, Auntie, I just really wanted to see your nephew bleed." She giggled as the grey slime slipped off her cheek onto her now naked body. She pulled out the knife, looking at the bit of blood on it. This could only be Himiko Toga.
Mandalay whimpered, still in shock of what just happened.
The blonde girl gasped. "Aw, you're bleeding too now!"
Suddenly, she was restrained by a strong material which wrapped around her waist. She yelped as she was pulled onto the ground. She tried to slash the material, but it was too strong.
Aizawa interrogated. "Who are you?" He tightened his grey scarf around her.
Toga smiled and yanked the material, getting up. "Like I'd tell you!" She ran toward him.
Mandalay punched her away. "She's obviously a villain." She growled.
Toga slipped out of the restraints easily. "Wow, you guys are really smart. I'd like to cut you two up." She pointed her knife at them as she rubbed her cheek.
Mandalay grunted, "We need to restrain her. Quickly."
Aizawa nodded. "I agree."
"Hmmm. Try and catch me first!" She lunged at the two, thirsty for more blood.
.....
Tension filled the room as the students with Vlad King sat at their desks, waiting for anything to happen.
After receiving word of villains attacking the whole camp, the teacher was forced to keep his students in the classroom where they were most safe.
Some didn't like that at all.
Denki Kaminari fidgeted in his chair, occasionally glancing up. He seemed mostly concerned, if anything.
"Are they gonna be okay out there?" He asked.
Vlad King raised an eyebrow and gave him a look. "Mr. Aizawa and the Pussycats are already searching for your classmates."
Kaminari glanced down then took a look at Ejiro Kirishima, who seemed the most anxious.
"Just don't worry about it, man." Kirishima said as he bounced his leg.
"Are you afraid it might be him?" The blond male leaned closer to Kirishima.
He shook his head in response. "Not just that. Remember what he said to us? I don't know what changed in him, but he sounded pretty sure that he would get to Bakugou."
Kaminari frowned. "Bakugou's strong, though. I'm sure he'll be careful."
"Okay, I know you're trying to make this better, but we both know that's a lie. He sees a villain, he'll immediately want to fight." Kirishima deadpanned.
"You're right." Kaminari sighed. "Doesn't it make you feel a little useless being in here while everyone else is in danger?"
"That's exactly what I feel." Kirishima said. "And I know if someone ends up hurt or worse, this is gonna get a lot worse for all of us."
"Well if Midoriya is involved-"
"If Midoriya is involved, it'll be harder for us." Kirishima huffed and looked down. "I don't know, but I have a bad feeling about this. And I don't think it'll end well for some people." He frowned.
Kaminari's eyebrows furrowed as he looked down. Could it seriously be that bad?
....
Tomura Shigaraki huffed as he paced back and forth. "Where the hell is that boy?! We can only keep these people distracted for so long. Some of the villains are already defeated." He scratched at his neck. "Who knows when the police could get here?"
Dabi sighed. "What do you expect? You let the reins loose once and you decided it would be okay to do that now?"
Kurogiri looked at Dabi cautiously before turning to Tomura. The two other villains, Twice and Spinner, turned their heads curiously.
"That seems like a stupid thing to do. We aren't wasting our time here just because you decided to finally let him have some freedom."
Tomura snapped, "I'm the one who made him. I know exactly what he needs. He needs a guide, a leader, like me to show him what to do. I couldn't trust him alone before. If I let him go earlier, he would've surely made a bloodbath. Then, he would be dead. This is only the beginning of what I have planned with him." He said.
Dabi hummed in disapproval. "Well you made quite the disaster in that kid."
"No, you see, I made him my prisoner. After making him my prisoner, he learned to become my apprentice." Shigaraki reasoned.
"You mean, your dog?"
Shigaraki growled in annoyance.
"That sounds like a rather smart move! Also very cruel and extreme, don't you think?" Twice raised an eyebrow.
Kurogiri looked back. "The only thing is, will he be smart enough to be left alone?" He then tensed up at a rustling sound near them.
The three villains turned their heads, looking for who made that sound. Everything became quiet.
Izuku Midoriya stepped out from the foliage and sighed. "Wow, you guys are really paranoid now. If I had popped out and said 'boo' I probably would've gotten roasted to death." He shrugged as he walked to Shigaraki.
Dabi huffed. "Took you long enough."
"Do you have the targets, Midoriya?" Shigaraki questioned.
Izuku gestured back to Mr. Compress, who came out of the forest, holding two blue marble sized balls. "Yes, yes, we have both targets, plus one." He pulled out another ball.
"Another?" Shigaraki looked at Izuku, demanding an explanation.
He simply smirked and looked at Shigaraki. "Oh, that? That's just another old friend. Don't worry, she'll be taken care of just like the others."
"Where's Toga?" Twice questioned.
Izuku shrugged. "Lost her somewhere after she noticed some teachers were onto us."
Shigaraki stepped closer to him. "You lost her?!"
Izuku stepped back then narrowed his eyes. "She's not my responsibility. I did what you told me to, didn't I?"
Dabi smirked a bit, noticing that Izuku was annoyed with being reprimanded constantly. He could basically predict what would happen from then on.
Shigaraki growled. "We can't leave her behind. They've already taken out more than just a few." He looked at Izuku. "Find out where she is so we can get out of here."
Izuku nodded and turned on his communicator. "Toga, are you there? Where are you?"
"I'll be just a minute! I barely lost those heroes. Why didn't you wait up for me?" She said through the communicator.
Izuku sighed in relief. "Good. We have to go now."
Twice added in, "Take your time! Hurry it up will you?" He deadpanned.
Dabi and Spinner looked at Twice with confused looks. What does this guy even mean?
Izuku turned off his communicator and took off his mask. "This thing is so stuffy. How do you guys even wear masks for long periods of time?"
"Use a lighter material. Thick steel will not ventilate well." Mr. Compress advised.
Izuku nodded and turned around as a rumbling sound came out of nowhere. It was only a matter of seconds before the group of villains was knocked down and the ground cracked and rumbled.
All the villains looked around in confusion. "What just happened?" Shigaraki asked.
Izuku glanced up then narrowed his eyes. "Heroes." He got to his feet and drew a knife.
The rest slowly got up as three pro heroes, Eraserhead, Mandalay, and Pixie-Bob, surrounded them.
Twice exclaimed, "What an unpleasant surprise! I'll kill them all."
"Who led them here?" Shigaraki reached up and scratched his neck in irritation.
"Ask the naked girl." Pixie Bob gestured over to where Toga was restrained by some of the material Aizawa wore. She writhed around hastily trying to slip out of them.
Dabi cringed. "You moron." Izuku sighed, "Just when I thought this would be the end of it." He looked at Shigaraki. "What now?"
The blue haired villain answered. "Get them. Compress, you get out of here. Kurogiri, transport them back."
Mr. Compress chuckled. "It seems like my time here is done." He put the three marbles in his right coat pocket.
Shigaraki narrowed his eyes. "Midoriya."
And with that, the green haired male seemed to disappear. A few seconds after, Mandalay was launched a few feet back.
Pixie Bob's eyes widened as she felt something behind her. She was struck in the side by a knife and almost had her throat slit. She yelped and stumbled back. Before she could see her enemy, there was no one there.
Aizawa looked around, "What is-" he was jerked back by a grey cloth. Toga giggled as she tightened the cloth around his neck. "Deku said you have a quirk that erases other quirks. You can't erase his quirk if you don't see him, right?" She then loosened her grip.
Aizawa was punched back and he stumbled.
Izuku moved quickly, slamming his head with the butt of the knife and swinging at his neck.
Aizawa grunted and blocked the knife with his arm. He then backed up and stared down Izuku.
The green haired male took off when he suddenly felt the power get drained out of him. He slowed down and stumbled forward.
Pixie Bob then put her hand to the ground. It shook and broke again toward their direction. Aizawa tackled Izuku and pinned him down.
"Get rid of the two heroes, Dabi." Shigaraki ordered as he approached.
"With pleasure." Dabi narrowed his eyes and shot a barrage of blue flames toward Pixie Bob and Mandalay.
Pixie Bob gasped and made the ground shake and crack. She stood in front of Mandalay and flinched. They were completely washed out by the wave of heat.
Aizawa looked back, "Mandalay! Pixie Bob!" He was kicked off.
Izuku grunted and got up slowly. He panted a little. "I never thought I'd meet you again, Mr. Aizawa." He said the last part in a mocking tone.
He chuckled. "I paid attention a lot to heroes. You shouldn't be that surprised and underestimate me."
Aizawa grit his teeth and looked back at Kurogiri, who was opening a portal for the others to escape.
Toga walked through the portal. "Bye, heroes! It was fun playing~" Twice and Spinner followed her.
Aizawa chased toward Mr. Compress. Izuku smirked and followed after.
Mr. Compress stood there. "Ah, I see. Aiming for the wrong target, eh?"
Dabi lunged and shot his hand forward. However, his quirk didn't work.
Aizawa's eyes glowed red as he glared at Dabi. He then slung his grey scarf at Mr. Compress.
The magician villain was held back. He struggled in the grip of the material.
Izuku threw 2 daggers at Aizawa, which he dodged. He ran ahead past Mr. Compress and looked at Shigaraki.
Tomura only gave a small nod as Aizawa finally got to Mr. Compress and held him down.
The hero then looked at his closed hand, revealing 3 blue marbles in his palm. "These must be them."
Mr. Compress sighed. "You caught me." He snapped his fingers.
The blue marbles burst open, revealing random pieces of ice and foliage from the forest.
Aizawa jumped back in surprise. "What the hell?" He murmured as he blinked in disbelief.
Mr. Compress chuckled. "You see, it's quite an easy illusion. I am surprised no one noticed. When I flaunt something, it usually means there's something I don't want you to see."
Aizawa glanced up at Izuku, who laughed hysterically. "Oh, isn't it always fun when you see the dumbfounded look on their faces?!" He showed off three blue orbs in between his fingers. Each held the kidnapped targets he acquired earlier.
Mr. Compress smirked under his mask. "So it seems you've fallen for our little 'trick', doesn't it?"
Aizawa let the cloth go and he sprinted toward Izuku.
"Well, I can't stay and chat anymore! See you back there, Shigaraki!" Izuku chimed as he waved the orbs in front of him.
Suddenly, a laser beam came out of nowhere, hitting Izuku's hand.
No one could see where it came from except for Aizawa, who saw his student, Yuga Aoyama, using his navel laser to help him.
An orb fell out of Izuku's grip and landed on the ground. It rolled down the ground.
"Midoriya!" Shigaraki hissed.
"Damn," Izuku grunted.
Mr. Compress came by his side and snapped his fingers. This caused the marbles to burst.
Now in Izuku's grip was an unconscious Katsuki Bakugou. Mr. Compress held up Ochaco Uraraka in his arms.
On the floor was Shoto Todoroki, barely responsive, and groaning as he got on his hands and knees.
Aizawa gasped. "Todoroki!" He stopped.
Mr. Compress chuckled. "We have our main target, don't we?"
Izuku smiled down at Bakugou, who was at the very mercy of him. His eyes widened and he nodded. "Oh. I believe we do."
"Then let us get going, shall we?"
He took one last look at Todoroki. He smiled at seeing the pale and horrified face as he backed up toward the portal. "Yes. Our work here is done."
Mr. Compress took a bow before stepping back into the portal and disappearing.
Aizawa blinked and ran forward. "Midoriya!"
Just then, a dark haired male stepped in front of him. Dabi smiled and shook his head. "How sad... Isn't it, Eraserhead? Shoto Todoroki?" He held his hand out.
Todoroki gasped and got up weakly. "Midoriya!!!!" He screamed before Dabi let out a blaze of blue at him and Aizawa.
Midoriya only tilted his head and turned, dragging Bakugou with him into the portal. He ignored the flames and simply kept walking.
"Nice try, guys." He looked down at the blond and narrowed his eyes. "You're mine now, Kacchan. You're my prisoner now...."
