Here To Stay

Cas looked away from her dark stare. He turned his back on her, unable to face what he had done.
"Cas, you okay?" Dean asked softly.
He looked at him with teary blue eyes. "No. Dean, I... I dreamt last night."
"You did? What'd you see?"
"Felicity. Her eyes were... black. So were her wings."
"Hey, her wings aren't black yet, okay? We are doing this for her. Now we don't have a lot of time before the spell wears off, so we need to get as much information as we can from this thing. Alright?"
He merely sighed and nodded his head just a slight.
He looked back at the demon, her cold dark eyes boring into his. "What are you? What kind of demon are you?"
She sneered at him. "And what kind of angel are you? With wings as black as yours, I'm surprised you haven't been burned with holy fire."
He looked away from her, unable to come to grips with this situation.
"Answer the question!" Dean yelled.
"I am the only one left of my kind. The last of a glorious race."
"There was more of you?" Sam asked.
"Of course there were, Beanpole! There was once hundreds of us. Thousands. Until God smote us all. In all His wrath. He believed we were unworthy of existence. That we shouldn't have been created to begin with. So he killed us all. All but me. He exiled me. Banished me to Purgatory along with those... leviathan imbeciles."
"If you were so unworthy of existence, why would He create you in the first place?" Cas asked.
"No. I will not answer to the likes of you."
"You will, unless you like being drowned in holy water." Dean seethed.
Cas turned slightly towards him. "Dean, I don't like this. I don't like it at all."
"It's alright, Cas. It's not Felicity. Not anymore."
"That's just it. What if this spell doesn't wear off? What if Felicity is gone?"
"Don't think like that, man. C'mon, we've gotta do this."
Cas sighed and looked back at the demon. "Why did God create you?"
She hesitated, but only for a moment. "He didn't."
"Excuse me?"
"He never created us. We were not of His design."
"Then where did you come from?"
"I don't know everything."
"Do you have a name?" Sam asked.
"Even if I did, why should I tell you?"
"Because if you don't answer all of our questions properly, you'll be choking on salt." Dean sneered.
She sighed lightly. "Fine. I have a name."
"Well, what is it?"
"They call me Zozo."
This shocked all three of them. "Zozo?" Sam repeated. "As in... the Zozo?"
"Yes. The Zozo that has been mocked throughout the centuries. Ouija boards, as if."
"Yeah, you're probably into drinking baby blood or something." Dean muttered.
"What do you want with Felicity?" Cas asked.
"You mean this little thing?" She looked down at her body, a malicious smile on her face. "I need her. Her and Abigail alike. Their energy sustains me. Especially now that she's got these pretty little wings on her back."
"How do you know Django? Did he release you from Purgatory?"
"That's right. We're business partners, he and I. Well, not just in business."
"You can't possibly mean-"
"Oh, yes. Twisted, I know. But that Django is one bad little angel."
"You are sick. Both of you. Just... sick."
"Says the angel who once French kissed a little black eyed skank by the name of Meg Masters."
His face lost all expression. "What?"
"Oh, I know all about you, Castiel. I am well informed, courtesy of my winged lover."
"What do you plan to do with Felicity? And why do you need her to be a Mephistopheles?" He attempted to veer away from the topic of Meg.
"I plan to conquer. Show God that He made a mistake in eradicating us. I will show him, I will show you all! And with Django by my side, we will be indomitable!"
"No. That. Won't. Happen. I will not let you take her."
"Too late for that, boy toy."
"The only reason you are here now is because of a spell. It will soon wear off, and you will return to wherever it is you reside."
"Oh, this spell is all I needed. Now that I'm out, there's no going back in."
"You're lying. You don't have the strength. Not yet."
"The energy I've received from El and Abby is just enough to keep me grounded. All that torture. All those nights. I still look forward to hearing them scream."
Cas grabbed her by the throat, unable to control himself anymore. "You listen to me. I will get her back. I... I care about her too much to lose her," He released her and took a step back. "And I will kill you by the time this is over. Let me assure you of that."
She licked her lips sickeningly. "I wish you luck, dark angel."
(A/N: I've been having a bit of Wattpad trouble so if anything gets deleted or is unfinished, that's why. Okay, that's all.)
