It was early in the morning and the sun rose from behind the two mountains giving a splendid view.

There was a small village where lived several people, neither too poor nor too rich. You can say they were kind of middle classed. There lived a girl who was famous, beautiful, talented. She was known for her kindness. Everyone loved her and so did she.

"Oh! My dear princess! Come here!" said her granny as she called the girl.

"I'm not a princess granny!" she replied with a smile.

"Of course you are dear!" said granny.

"Oh granny! I told you several times! Call me Suzi!" said the pretty girl.

Her Granny smiled at her but said nothing. For her, Suzi was her little princess.

The next day Suzi was going to the market. She was walking but suddenly a guy hit her by mistake. It seemed like that guy was in a hurry. He quickly glanced at Suzi and ran away.

"Wait! How dare you! Come back here!" Suzi shouted as she ran behind him.

She ran and ran but lost sight of that man. But now this other guy came walking towards her. He was thinking something and didn't notice Suzi. His arm hit hers and she felt down.

"Oh no! I'm so sorry Ma-" he stopped for a sec and again continued "young lady!"

"No! It's ok." Suzi replied.

"You seem tired." He said as he made her sit on a big rock.

"Thank You!" Suzi said. "Well, about that...a guy came and hit me and then ran away so I ran behind him and ended up here." she continued.

"A man ha..." he said. He seemed to be thinking something. "Oh! Never mind that! Anyway....what's your name?" he asked her as he smiled.

"I'm Suzi." Suzi said. She continued "What is your name?" she asked.

"I'm...umm...Joseph." He said with

"Oh! So...what brings you here Joseph?" Suzi asked.

"Oh well! I'm a blacksmith from the other kingdom." Joseph replied.

"Other kingdom! Wow!" Suzi exclaimed. "But what are you doing here?" Suzi asked.

"Oh well! You seem to ask a lot of questions." Joseph replied as he laughed. "Well, the King called me so I'm here." he said with a smile.

"Oh!" Suzi exclaimed.

"Anyways! Gotta go or else the King will be mad at me." Joseph said. "Bye Suzi! It was nice meeting you!" he said.

"Bye!" Suzi said as shs blushed a bit. "Man! He is so hot and handsome! And his smile..I love it.." Suzi thought and started blushing a bit.

The next day, in the morning, when Suzi was talking to her granny, they could hear loud horns.

PUPURUPU PU PU PU!!!!

A man with a sword in his right hand and a piece of paper in his left, came. He opened the paper and he started shouting loudly so that everyone could hear it "Ladies and Gentlemen! We invite you to our tonight's ball dance at the castle. Prince Frost is gonna choose his bride. So, all the ladies shall assemble to the ball room at sharp 7:00 pm. The most beautiful amongst you all shall get the golden opportunity to marry the Prince. We will be waitig for you." 

"What? Tonight!!??" A lady asked.

"Yes! Tonight!" The man replied.

"But we aren't ready yet. You should at least give us time for preparations!" Another lady said.

"Look Ma'am, I have no idea what Prince is thinking. There surely must be something in his mind that he decided decided to marry all of a sudden." the man replied.

"That's rubbish! A girl so pretty like myself needs at least needs 2-3 days for the preparation and of course, i need at least a few hours to get ready." A girl said as she flipped her hair.

The man sighed. "I'm out of here." He said.

Everyone started giggling.

"WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR PROBLEM!!!? YOU ALL WILL SEE THAT THAT THE PRINCE WILL ONLY CHOOSE ME! NO ONE ELSE!" The girl said as she flipped her hair and walked away.

Suzi sighed. "I don't even think I can even make it to the ball...with these clothes..at least.." Suzi said as she looked at her dress. I don't think I even have anything which would be good enough to wear at the ball." she continued.

Suzi went in her house and closed the door and went and sat on the bed.

"What happened dear?" her Granny asked.

"No..nothing...it's just that..I..." Suzi said but she was too nervous to even complete her sentence.

"You don't have a dress to wear in the ball, right?" Granny said.

"Granny..." Suzi replied.

"Yes dear! I heard that man saying about the ball and stuff." Granny said as she smiled.

"Really!!?" Suzi exclaimed but suddenly looked down and continued "But...i don't know what to wear..." 

"Don't worry! I know just the thing." Granny replied.

Granny went to her shelf, opened it, and right behind her clothes, was a big box. She opened it and removed a dress, it looked pretty old due to the dust accumulated on it. She gave the dress to Suzi.

"Granny.."

"Oh well! Your mom was going to wear this on the ball, the same kind of ball which is being conducted today. But..oh well..her dad, I mean my husband got sick..so she couldn't attend the ball. She stayed with her dad for the whole time...well...I think you know the further things..so..I'm not saying anything further.." she said as she rubbed her tears. "So, well..she couldn't attend the ball. And at that very moment, she decided to keep this dress for you." she continued.

"Granny..." Suzi said and she hugged her and started crying.

"It's alright dear! Now go and wash that dress so that it will become as good as new again." Granny said as she rubbed Suzi's tears.

"Ok." Suzi said and went for washing the dress.

Granny smiled and sat on the chair.

Suzi's dress looked as good as new and she wore it.

Suzi looked like a princess. 

"You're looking so beautiful, just like your mother." Granny said as she smiled at her.

"Thank You Granny! It's all cuz of you. I Love You!" Suzi said as she hugged her.

"Now go or else you will be late." Granny said as she gave a warm smile.

"Yep!" Suzi smiled.

Suzi went in the ball room and ll the ladies were staring at her.

"So pretty!" a lady said.

"So beautiful!" another lady said.

"Beautiful but not as good as me! Prince Frost will choose me no matter what happens cuz I'm the most beautiful girl in the town!" A girl said as she laughed.

"I remember her! She is that girl from before."  Suzi thought.

"Ladies and Gentlemen! Prince Frost is on his way here so please be silent." The King said.

The Prince Frost came asnd grabbed all the ladies' attention.

"Omg...he is looking...so...handsome...so charming..I can't stop looking at him...I feel like looking at him forever. I..I can't take my eyes off of him..."  Suzi thought as she blushed. 

Prince Frost glanced at her for a moment and smiled.

"That smile...it seems a bit familiar.."  Suzi thought.

"Ladies and Gentlemen!" Prince Frost spoke up. "I thank you for your presence. Well, the first question you might have had during the announcement was that why I suddenly announced about the ball today morning. Well,  I wanted to see which one of you is the most creative. I wanted someone who could prepare herself with less time but beautifully indeed. It was just a small test. So well, we all are going to have a dance and well, as soon as I reach my bride, I'll give a secret signal to stop the music. So the ball dance begins!" he continued. He went to the musicians and whispered something in their ears and then went to dance.

Suzi was nervous but still she danced. Her dance partner kept on changing. But then suddenly a hand touched her hand and it was the Prince. He smiled at her.

"That smile...I remember you..you're the blacksmith...but you're..." Suzi said.

"Sush! That's a secret! I got a secret message from the soldiers that there were a bunch of people spying our kingdom. They lived in our kingdom, somewhere so I was off to catch hold of them." Prince Frost replied.

 "But..why you?"

"Cuz I wanted to discover the places in our kingdom too. I even wanted to see the condition of our kingdom, the people..whether they are living a peaceful life or not, and so on." Prince Frost said as he smiled.

Suzi blushed as he smiled.

"Pretty.." Prince Frost said as he pulled her closer by her waist and kissed her.

Suzi was shocked and her face was red, she was blushing.

The song stopped.

"I hereby declare that the girl I wanna marry is Suzi Endou." Prince Frost announced.

"My name..how do you know..my surname..?" Suzi whispered.

"I fell in love with you the second I met you in the village. I knew it had to be you, by bride. I asked your name to the villagers and well, that's how I got to know your surname." Prince said whispered back as he winked.

He bent down and sat on his knees and took her and in his hand and kissed it. 'Will you marry me?" Prince Frost asked.

""Yes..yes..yes!" Suzi replied as tears rolled down her eyes.

Soon after the ball, the couple was married and lived a happy married life.
