Why i made 'Best' (And a little backstory of my life)

I made the quote 'Best' from the last chapter.

Yeah.

So, yesterday I was thinking about my Granny. She dies of cancer a few years ago, and I was thinking back to school when that happened. I though about when I wrote it in my writing journal for school, and showed it to my 3rd grade teacher— Mr. Handsford. He is probly one of the nicest teaches I've ever met in my life. He made jokes, laughed along with us, and just made school fun for his students in general. He still works at the school, too! Anyways, when I showed my journal to him, he said: "If you ever need somebody to talk to, I'm always here." He handed me my journal back and smiled. That just made me think of all the people who stood up for me and loved me. So, I started writing that poem.

And then I thought about all of the people who used me just to get to other people, and didn't give two damns about me.

So I wrote that part in the middle of the quote.

In the past, I was a social butterfly! I was friends with everybody. That all, well, changed when I got older. People started using me to get to my more 'Open' and Popular' friends. I was 'Popular' at that time, but I started to just drift into the shadows. I still had a few real friends that were there for me, but they were all I had. I started to become a bit more closed. I didn't try to make new friends, I was shy, and I slowly got social anxiety, like I do now.

I'm still like that.

I only have a few friends I can really trust. I only have a few friends I can talk to about anything—

My sexuality, my real interests, and the music I listen to (Yes, my music is that messed up).

So, back to the quote. I kept writing it, and eventually finished.

And now I'm just thinking.
