I woke up the next morning with puffy eyes.  I had literally cried the whole night.  I went into the bathroom and let the cold water fall upon my body, making my hair wet.  I sighed as the water ran across my face.  Today I had decided to skip school.  That was unlike me but I couldn't go back there.

After a while, I began brushing my hair. I had switched my phone off the previous night and I had no idea why but when I switched it on… My phone buzzed with tons of messages. Some of the people I never knew and they were all insulting me.   The worst words you could ever imagine.  I groaned.  My life was over.  Literally over.  I lost my sister, my reputation was ruined…

I stayed in the house for an hour or so, either playing sad songs on my guitar, or stuffing my mouth with ice cream and yoghurt or watching sad movies on Netflix.  I soon became bored and decided to visit Miss Wills.  She had moved to another house across the street because this one was packed with rats.  I knocked on her door and it creaked, revealing a smiling Miss Wills.

"Why Raven, hello."

"His Gran."

Did I mention she hated being called Miss Wills?  Almost everyone who was younger than her called her gran but usually I like to call her with both names.

"Come in come in. What a nice surprise."

She led the way to the living room and I sat down on the couch.  The sizzling smell of butterscotch cookies filled the room and I found myself in the kitchen, licking my lips at such a sight.

"Dig in dear, I wouldn't of course finishe all this myself."

I smiled at her and bit on a cookie, then another one and another one.  Oh they were so amazing.

"I saw you on the news Raven,"she started but I interrupted by chocking on one cookie.

"What?"I said as I swallowed.

"I think you heard me quite clearly," she said sternly.

I sighed and pulled my hair back.

"Oh Raven,"she said placing a hand on my shoulder.

"I don't believe that nonsense, I know you wouldn't do such."

"Oh Gran. Thank you so much. You are the only person that believes me." I said.

"My friends, my mom my…" I sighed, "And Rey."

"Honey. Every thing that is kept in the dark will come in the light. You don't have to worry."

"But I'm not wanted at school. They all despise me and…"

"Is that why you never went to school today?"

"Miss Wills…"

"Raven, when the world throws anger and frustration on you, you have to fight back."

"But how?"

"Oh Raven,"she said as she sighed.

"Kill them with kindness. They will regret the words they said to you when the truth comes out. You have to be strong."

I sighed and she pulled me into a hug.

"I need you to put on your brave girl pants and walk into that school sticking to your truth. Whatever people say to you, just ignore. It doesn't matter what they say. You stand tall don't show that you are weak, Alright?"

"Mhm," I said as I buried my head in between her shoulders and my hand.

(At home)

I groaned as a knock came on the door.  It was 4.30 and I was sure school had ended but who was it now that was I opened the door t bothering me. I opened the door and found Liv.  I was about to slam the door at her face but she stopped me. 

"Raven please, I know you didn't do it."

I eyed her suspiciously.  What?

"I know that you would never do such a thing. To me or anyone."

"Is this some kind of joke?" I asked folding my arms.

"No Rave. I believe you. I know you didn't put my life in danger."

"I'm sure this is a prank, where are the cameras?"  I said looking around for people to jump out with cameras and phones.

"I'm serious Raven. I truly believe you."

"Why would you? When nobody does. Even you own brother"

"I don't know. I just do."

I wasn't sure whether she was talking the truth or pranking me.  But I decided to believe her anyways.

"Thank you Liv," I said giving her a hug.  "I appreciate it."

"We need to find a way to make people find out the truth."she said pulling out of the hug.

"Honestly, I don't care anymore," I sighed. "I'm not going to let them get to me."

"But…"

"Everything has already been ruined, I already have been labelled so I'm letting it be. If they find out the truth… good for them but I am officially done," I said with a smile.  Miss Wills showed me the light.  I was crying over spilt milk.  I wouldn't hurt myself any further, I was ready for them. 

"Wow, you are really strong," she says folding her arms.

I smiled, I was a warrior in battle and I would kill them with kindness.  I would kill everyone who doubted me along with calling me such hurtful words with kindness.  Let's see if they would survive.

"Uhm, you can come in. I think I'm done inspecting you," I said.

She laughed and got in.  I led her to my room and she looked around.

"Forgive me if it's not up to your standard."

"My goodness no," she said, "I like it. It's so classic and modern. Mine is way to baby girlish."

I grinned at her.

"Wow you play?" she asked picking up my guitar and strumming a tune.

"Yeah you?" I said sounding surprised.

"I actually play piano but I love the guitar as well.  Jason taught me."

"Wow. I never knew."

She grinned.  And I smiled.  Live was really one of a kind.
