Anime
Skipper
I cross my arms and huff, rolling my eyes at the scientist sat cross leggeded, a TARDIS blanket wrapped around his shoulders. He has several DVD cases balanced on his lap.
"When I said 'choose anything to watch' I didn't mean anime," I complain. Kowalski grins.
"I put up with horror you'll survive. You might even like it," he replies, flicking through the cases.
"But it's for geeks..." I whine. "No wonder you like it."
"Hey!" Kowalski says but I can tell he's not angry from the amusement in his eyes. "One episode?"
"Fine," I mumble, sitting down, glaring at the screen determined to hate it.
He puts on something on where this stretchy guy in a straw hat wants to be King of the Pirates. I, despite myself, find myself enjoying it. There's action, humor and no robots (yet, it is anime after all).
"Wait. Why is he so keen to be a pirate? Aren't they evil?" I ask.
"Historically yes," Kowalski says. "In this it's more the Marines I think. And this is coming from you who watches all of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies at least once a month."
"Fair enough," I allow with a grin.
The first episode ends.
"Uh...Kowalski? Can we watch dome more?" I ask.
"I thought it was too geeky?" he questions, cheerfully.
"Shut up," I joke, grinning as he puts the next episode on.
