Chapter 30 (Fazbear Valentine's)
Toy Bonnie carefully slid out of your grip, careful not to wake you up. Despite saying that you didn't need any rest, you had slept for at least twelve hours, as it was around nine in the morning. He quietly walked out of the room and crept into Mangle, Toy Chica, and Balloon Boy's room. Mangle and Toy Chica were cuddled together, as Balloon Boy lay by their feet.
"Hey, wake up, guys," Toy Bonnie whispered.
"Yeah?" Mangle lifted her head.
"Hello," Balloon Boy said.
"Get up," Toy Bonnie insisted.
"Okay, what for?" Mangle wondered as she, Toy Chica, and Balloon Boy, sat up.
"I'm wanting to do something special for (Y/N)."
"Oh, because it's Valentine's Day!" Toy Chica squealed quietly, having learned that there were other people in the building that were probably sleeping.
"Yeah, that and because she's not been feeling well lately," Toy Bonnie said.
"What do you want to do?" Mangle asked.
". . . Maybe we can start with making her breakfast, since it's morning, and then we can make her cards and stuff," Toy Bonnie told them.
"Or, we can start with cards and things, and then wake her up with breakfast," Toy Chica suggested.
"Yeah, but what if she wakes up before then?" Toy Bonnie worried.
"We can take turns keeping an eye on her," Mangle advised.
"Good idea, Mangle!" Toy Chica exclaimed.
"Who's first?" Toy Bonnie wondered.
"Hello," Balloon Boy spoke up, volunteering himself.
"Okay, let me go wake up Toy Freddy and tell him what we're doing."
Toy Bonnie walked out of the room as the rest got off the bed. He walked down the hall, assuming Toy Freddy was sleeping on the couch. When he saw around the corner, he found that his assumptions were correct. Toy Freddy was sprawled across the couch, snoring. Toy Bonnie leaned over, close to Toy Freddy's ear.
"WAKE UP!" he yelled, although not loud enough to wake you up.
"What?" Toy Freddy jumped and fell off the couch, making Toy Bonnie laugh.
"What was that?" Mangle asked, poking her head around the corner.
"My revenge," Toy Bonnie whispered, giving Toy Freddy an ominous smile.
"You didn't have to scream in my ear," Toy Freddy growled, glaring at Toy Bonnie.
"We're surprising (Y/N) for Valentine's Day, Toy Freddy!" Toy Chica jumped out from around the corner.
"With what?" Toy Freddy shook his head as he stood up.
"Uh . . . Things," Toy Chica stammered, thinking to herself.
"We'll start by making cards," Toy Bonnie said.
"Yeah!" Toy Chica cheered.
"What if she wakes up, though? It won't be much of a surprise, then," Toy Freddy pointed out.
"Yeah, which is why Balloon Boy is standing by her door. Here in a while, someone will take his place," Toy Bonnie replied snarkily.
"Hey, where are we going to get the paper to make the cards?" Mangle mentioned.
"Oh . . . (Y/N)'s bound to have some paper around here somewhere," Toy Bonnie thought aloud.
"Maybe in her closet," Toy Freddy considered.
"Right. I'll go see."
Toy Bonnie walked down the hall, and the rest followed him. Balloon Boy looked to them curiously. He stepped out of the way as Toy Bonnie approached the door. Toy Bonnie peeked inside, to see that you were still sound asleep. He opened the door farther and walked inside. The rest attempted to follow him.
"No, you guys will end up waking her up," Toy Bonnie hissed.
"What are you talking about?" Toy Freddy crossed his arms, frowning.
"Just, stay out here. I'll check by myself."
Toy Freddy grunted, ushering Toy Bonnie off and into the room. He slowly and carefully walked by the front of your bed. He quietly opened the closet door and looked around. Everything was cluttered around, so he didn't have an idea where paper could be.
"Toy Bonnie!" Toy Chica whispered.
Toy Bonnie's eyes widened as he looked back. "What?"
"Make sure to get some safety scissors and glue," she asked innocently.
"Oh, get some tape as well," Mangle added, sticking her head in the room.
"Markers and crayons are important too," Toy Freddy said.
"Wha- Really?" Toy Bonnie glanced over at you nervously.
"Yeah, could you?" Toy Chica smiled.
"Okay, yeah. Just- . . . I'll get your markers, scissors, and glue," Toy Bonnie growled.
"And crayons-"
"Get out!"
Toy Bonnie jumped as you shifted in your sleep. Toy Chica quickly left and closed the door. Toy Bonnie stayed still, carefully not to rouse you. When you stopped, he sighed in relief. He continued his search in the closet. He spotted a cardboard box on the top shelf, and he carefully pulled it down.
"Here we go," he whispered to himself, opening it and seeing a bunch of crayons, markers, and pencils. "Now, the paper and other junk."
Toy Bonnie shut the door and looked around your room. There probably wasn't any of those things in your dresser, and he didn't see anything in your bookshelf, so he assumed they would be on, or in, your desk. He tiptoed over to your desk. Once he found some paper, scissors, glue, and tape, he quickly left.
"Did you get the scissors and glue?" Toy Chica questioned as Toy Bonnie closed the door to your bedroom. "Oh, and markers, crayons, and tape?"
"Yes, I got everything. Here." Toy Bonnie shoved everyone their corresponding objects, keeping the papers to himself.
"Yay," Toy Chica cheered.
Toy Bonnie walked into the living room and set the papers on the coffee table. He kneeled down and sat on the floor, and the rest copied him—except for Balloon Boy, who stayed guard by your door. The rest set everything in the center of the table. They each grabbed a piece of paper.
"What are we supposed to do on them?" Mangle wondered.
"Do whatever you want. Just make sure it tells her how much she means to you," Toy Bonnie mused.
"I think this is good," Toy Chica mumbled to herself after adding the final touches to her card.
"Hello!" Balloon Boy laughed, indicating that he was done with his; Toy Freddy had finished his card first, and Balloon Boy was getting antsy, so Toy Freddy took over for him.
"Yeah, I think I'm done too. Mangle?" Toy Bonnie wondered.
"Hmm . . . Yeah." Mangle put her markers and crayons back in the box. "What's next?"
Toy Chica gasped. "Why don't we decorate?"
"Maybe just in here, because I don't want to have to decorate all the rooms," Mangle suggested nervously.
"Yeah, it'd take too long. (Y/N) would end up waking up by then," Toy Bonnie pointed out.
"Oh, yeah. I don't want to ruin the surprise." Toy Chica giggled.
"But, what are we supposed to decorate with?" Toy Bonnie said.
"We could cut the pieces of papers into hearts and tape them on the walls. Or, we could cut the paper into strips and loop them into chains, and hang them around. Or we could do both," Mangle suggested.
"Yeah, let's do both."
"I'll go switch places with Toy Freddy, actually," Mangle said.
"Oh, but you won't get to decorate with us," Toy Chica pouted.
"It's fine. Toy Freddy will be of better help since he taller, anyways," Mangle pointed out, and Toy Chica frowned.
"What are we supposed to be making for breakfast? And how?" Toy Freddy brought up as he taped the other side of a chain over the top of the hallway entrance.
"She seems to like cereal," Toy Chica pointed out.
"No, we're not making (Y/N) cereal . . . Do you guys remember if she got pancake mix?"
"Uhm." Toy Freddy tried to think back.
"I don't remember." Toy Chica hummed.
"Toy Freddy, look for a box of pancake mix."
"Why me?" Toy Freddy looked back at Toy Bonnie.
"Because I said so."
"Fine," Toy Freddy growled as he searched through the cupboards.
"I think the decorations are done," Toy Bonnie announced.
"I think this is it," Toy Freddy mumbled, reading the instructions on the back of a box.
"Is it? Toy Chica, go switch spots with Mangle," Toy Bonnie ordered.
"What? But, I want to help," Toy Chica objected.
"You've already helped enough."
"Why don't you get someone else to take her place?"
"Everyone's already been there."
"You haven't!"
"That's because I'm (Y/N)'s b-" Toy Bonnie interrupted himself.
"You're her what?" Toy Chica crossed her arms smugly.
"Uh- . . . This was my idea!" Toy Bonnie shrieked in embarrassment as his face went red.
"Ugh, fine," Toy Chica scoffed poutingly, stomping towards the hallway.
Toy Bonnie sighed in relief. "What are we supposed to do? Hand me the box."
"How many pancakes should we make? Six to eight?" Toy Freddy murmured in concentration.
"Sure. Now, hand me the box." Toy Bonnoe reached for it, but Toy Freddy pulled it back.
"I'm capable of reading it," Toy Freddy said.
"So am I!" Toy Bonnie barked.
"What's going on?" Mangle wondered as she walked out from the hall.
"Toy Freddy won't let me read the box."
"Why don't I read it?" Mangle offered.
"No, I can-"
"Yeah, let Mangle read it," Toy Bonnie added, smirking.
"Wha- You- . . . Fine." Toy Freddy glared at Toy Bonnie as he handed Mangle the box.
"Okay, let's see." Mangle scanned over the instructions for a second.
"We're making six to eight," Toy Freddy told her.
"Get a pan and vegtable oil," Mangle instructed as she turned a stove top on.
Balloon Boy grabbed a pan from under the counter as Toy Freddy got vegetable oil. "Okay?" Toy Freddy urged her to go on.
"Put the pan on the stove top I turned on, and put a little of the oil in it," she continued, and the rest did as she said.
"Next?" Toy Bonnie looked to her.
"We have to wait until we can drop water in it and it sizzles and dissapears. Oh, until then, we'll need a bowl and measuring cups."
The rest grabbed the materials, and she gave them directions on how to mix together the batter. She continued to give them directions, and they followed them.
"I saw a bubble pop, flip that one now, Toy Freddy!" Toy Bonnie exclaimed.
Toy Freddy flipped a pancake over, to reveal a golden brown side. "Yes."
"These should be the last two," Mangle mentioned. "Does (Y/N) have any maple syrup?"
"I'll check!" Toy Chica exclaimed as she checked the cupboards.
"Just one more," Toy Freddy muttered as he slid a pancake on the pile that was forming on a plate.
"Here we go," Toy Chica cheered, setting a bottle of syrup on the counter.
"What about the butter?" Mangle wondered.
"Yeah. Toy Chica get- Wait a minute, Toy Chica? Why are you in here?" Toy Bonnie looked to the rest: Mangle, Toy Freddy, and Balloon Boy. "Who's keeping an eye out for (Y/N)? Toy Chica, you were supposed to be in there!"
"I'm sorry! You guys sounded like you were having fun, and I didn't want to miss out on it." Toy Chica whimpered.
"Get back-"
"Woah, what's going on in here?" you wondered, looked around; the rest looked back, to see you standing on the other side of the counter.
"(Y/N)!" Toy Bonnie gasped. "Wha- I- Happy Valentine's Day!"
"Happy Valentine's Day, (Y/N)!" the rest cheered, except for Balloon Boy, who laughed.
"Oh, is this what this is?" you chuckled hoarsely.
"Yeah, it was supposed to be a surprise," Toy Bonnie grumbled as he glared at Toy Chica.
"Well, I wasn't really expecting it. So, mission accomplished, I guess," you assured him.
"Really?" Toy Chica gasped in excitement.
"Yeah," you croaked, scratching the back of your neck.
"We just wanted to show you how much you meant to us, and do something special for you since you aren't feeling good," Mangle explained.
"Hey, that was supposed to be my line!" Toy Bonnie huffed.
"Aw, really?" You smiled as your cheeks warmed up, and it wasn't from being sick.
"Yeah! You've done so much for us, (Y/N)! I wanted to show you our appreciation and give you the recognition you deserve," Toy Bonnie gushed.
"Thank you, guys."
"Hey, we made you cards!" Toy Chica exclaimed, running over to the coffee table.
"And breakfast." Toy Freddy stuck out a plate full of pancakes.
"Yeah, we were planning to wake you up with all of this," Mangle informed you.
"Oh, you guys are sweet."
You walked over and sat down at the coffee table, across from Toy Chica. The rest walked around the counter and sat with you. Toy Bonnie sat next to you and hugged you. You hugged him back as Toy Freddy set your plate in front of you.
"Here, look at mine first!" Toy Chica squealed, handing you a card.
You started eating your pancakes as she handed you her card. There were pink and red hearts taped to the front and back. When you opened it, a heart popped up, which said "Happy Valentine's Day!" on it. You smiled, a bit impressed that she was able to make a pop-up card.
"Here, you can read mine next." Mangle slid her card towards you.
On the front of it were small hearts that formed the shape of a larger heart. On the inside were hearts glued everywhere, each one saying something on it—kind of like conversation heart candies, but more friendly than flirty. "Happy Valentine's Day, Darling" was written in it.
"I guess you can read mine next." Toy Freddy handed you his.
You almost laughed, seeing that the front only had a large colored heart and "Happy Valentine's" on it. There wasn't anything on the back. The inside was almost blank except for what looked like a poem. It read "This is boring to make- I'm gonna yawn- You're a bit of a headache- But at least you're better than 'Bonbon.' " You laughed, and Toy Freddy gave a sheepish chuckle.
"Hello!" Balloon Boy stuck out his card for you to take.
You took it and smiled, seeing drawings of Valentine's Day related things, such as hearts and roses. You smiled even more after seeing the inside, which was a drawing of everyone holding hands and smiling.
"Mine's last," Toy Bonnie said.
He handed you his card, and you read the front of it: 'Happy Valentine's Day- to the best person in the world!' There was a simple drawing of you on the front, with a heart around it. On the inside were drawings of hearts, 'xoxo's, roses, doves, and arrows with hearts on the tips. There was also some writing that said 'Thank you so much for all that you've done for us! You mean a lot to me! I'm lucky to have you! Happy Valentine's Day, (Y/N)!' You almost teared up at how sweet it was, and how sweet everyone was being.
You swallowed your pancakes. "Aww, you guys are so sweet!"
"Not as sweet as you." Toy Bonnie nudged you, winking and smiling; you blushed, rolling your eyes playfully.
"Are you done with this?" Mangle gestured to your plate.
"Oh, yeah."
"I'll take it to the sink."
"Alright, let's go back to your room, (Y/N). You're still sick, and you need your rest," Toy Bonnie murmured as he pulled you up with him.
"What? But, I want to stay in here with you guys. You didn't decorate the place just for me to stay for a couple minutes and then leave," you opposed.
"(Y/N), you need your rest," Toy Bonnie added.
"I want to stay in here with you guys. Please," you begged, making Toy Bonnie pause.
"I guess," Toy Bonnie sighed.
"She can lay on the couch. It's actually pretty comfy," Toy Freddy suggested.
"Where will you guys sit?" you worried.
"We'll sit on the floor," Toy Freddy said.
"But-"
"I'll get your blankets and pillows," Mangle butted in.
"You guys-"
"What do you want to watch on TV?" Toy Chica wondered as she dropped onto the floor in front of the couch.
"Why don't we all pile on the couch," you spit out before anyone else could cut you off.
"(Y/N)-"
"It'll be comfy," you interrupted Toy Bonnie.
"How are we all going to fit on it, though?" Mangle asked.
"We'll find a way." You smiled. "We'll just need a bunch of blankets and pillow."
"I'll go get some from our room." Toy Chica quickly got up and started down the hall.
"I'll go with you." Mangle followed her.
"Balloon Boy and I will check in your closet," Toy Freddy told you.
"Okay, I'll check if there's any in the dryer. Just pile them all on the couch when you get them!"
"I'll help you."
Toy Bonnie followed you into the laundry room. You looked in the dryer, and luckily, there were some blankets. You opened the door and felt the warmth radiating off the laundry. You snickered mischievously. Toy Bonnie hugged you from behind.
"Hm?" you hummed as Toy Bonnie nuzzled his face in the crook of your neck.
"I lo- Uh . . . I hope you know how much you mean to me." He sighed. "Us! I mean, I hope you know how much you mean to us!"
You snickered, leaning into him. "I love you."
Toy Bonnie widened his eyes. "WHAT?"
"Ow, that was my ear." You winced.
"Did you just say-"
Toy Bonnie spun you around and gripped your shoulders, making you tense. He started to laugh, hugging you. You laughed nervously. He let you go, making you stumble back some. He ran out of the room.
"GUYS! Guys, you won't believe it!" Toy Bonnie squealed.
"What?" Toy Freddy sounded startled.
"Toy Bonnie, you have to be quiet! There are people probably sleeping," Toy Chica scolded him.
"What is it?" Mangle brought the subject back to matter.
"(Y/N) said that she loves me!" Toy Bonnie cheered.
"What? Really?" Toy Chica sounded just as excited.
"Yeah, she said 'I love you.' She just said that!" Toy Bonnie went on.
"Good job," Toy Freddy cheered him on, although not sounding as enthusiastic as the other two.
"Did you say it back?" Mangle wondered, and everyone went silent for a few seconds.
"Uh, no," Toy Bonnie mumbled.
You rolled your eyes. You heard stomping approach the door, and Toy Bonnie burst into the room. He tackled you in a hug, making you lose your balance. You hastily regained it, pushing Toy Bonnie up some.
"I love you, (Y/N)!" He looked up at you with the biggest smile you had ever seen.
"I love you, too," you laughed.
Toy Bonnie embraced you tighter, bouncing in his stance. You hugged him back, grinning. You calmed him down some, laying your head on his shoulder.
"Let's go help the rest fix up the couch," you said, slowly pulling away from him.
"Okay," he squeed, making you laugh.
(Author's Note) Happy Valentine's Day! I was in kind of a rush to edit this, because I'm about to go to an appointment. So, if there are any mistakes, make sure to tell me :3
