The Yezugurda (roughly translating to 'shelled beast' in Blahscabysan) is a large passive aquatic creature inhabiting both of the large lakes on Sefurk and Dzilazh of Doran. They aren't found anywhere else in the universe. The shell on their back isn't actually a shell, rather a plant that grows in thick vines to form a shell like dome over this turtle like creature's back. A layer of sand and dirt protects the creature's soft skin alone the spine, creating something like a mobile grow bed. 

Eretsue (the piyan that appears in the image) Darskal, and Yezuyz are all Piyans that can 'own' one of these underwater creatures. It's one per piyan, and the right to own one can be striped if it's believed the piyan can't take proper care of the creature. However upon owning one, the individual willtake care of the creature and assure its health and safety. In return the creature will allow the owner to crawl upon it's back and use it as a garden to get extra food. The owner typically will mark the belly of the Yezugurda with water proof paint for identification.

 As the creature migrates throughout the lake, feasting often on plankton it filters from the water and large sea plants, it even filters out oxygen poor water through the tube like limbs on its stomach. With its arms it can pull itself up on land, this is mostly done by egg laying females. These creatures typically lay around seven or eight eggs that will get buried deep in the sand, they can take up to a year or more to hatch, upon hatching they will be about the size of young piyan, around six or seven feet long. The hatchlings will dive into the water and start eating sea plants and even fish, burrowing into the sand and dirt to start creating their shells. They will find an adult of their species to flock around for safety, eventually leaving as they grow older. The one in the picture is full grown at twelve years and as a curious Eretsue ready to start the symbiotic relationship. The creature can live up to be 1400 human years old.
