He felt his crimson blood pour out around the spear, warm against his already heat radiating scales. He hadn't meant to look so surprised, Sandstorm could see his reflection in the red, gold and pink dragon's own eyes, but it was hard not to be just a bit surprised when you had a spear in your throat. For a moment the two just stood there, his attacker leaning against the spear and gazing at him in an almost dreamy way, then finally he just smiled.

Because that's what you say to someone after you spear them right? Pyrope and Sandstorm made a very good pair, Pyrope has uncontrollable homicidal compulsions whereas Sandstorm being immortal can't be killed. Pyrope is a male sandwing/skywing hybrid who was born in Possibility, and he has the overwhelming desire to basically kill everything he can. He doesn't want to and describes the urge as similar to the urge and need to breath, his brain and body will do it subconsciously without him actually manually preforming the act. To attempt controlling himself he writes a lot and created the News-scroll, which is basically just dragon newspaper. It allows him to travel as he collects stories, doing so makes his urges a little easier to control. Sandstorm is a student at the Jade Academy, having been accidentally turned immortal by his animus adopted brother Spinifex he can survive any damage to his body and repair himself, so this spear to the neck is more so a minor setback then anything life threatening. Eating and drinking isn't necessary for him, but he does it for its pleasures, and he can't be poisoned for very long either. That being said, he can still feel pain and fatigue, and needs to sleep just like any other dragon. Because of this, he agrees to become Pyrope's friend and step in whenever Pyrope gets murder happy, the two grow to be very close.
