Starwarrior  veterans Torry and Sandstorm are a perfect pair and are otherwise inseparable, sharing a powerful brother like bond. Torry is a kelbero with panophobia and a bad stutter developed from an abusive childhood, whereas Sandy is a mute piyan unable to feel fear. The two perfectly balance each other out being polar opposites, Torry feels fear for Sandy and keeps him safe whereas Sandy helps Torry have courage to do things. Torry can also understand Sandy's sign language and is his voice. Having been best friends since they were both twelve, they've survived the war together and later met up with Sir Arthur on Popstar after NME was defeated. They are both three years older then Meta Knight and his brothers, and currently are teachers for the new generation of starwarriors. While Torry has trouble being a teacher due to how easily stressed he can be, Sandy is there to help.
