The 90's Kids is a traveling circus group that travels across the galaxy of Sicarius, as in this universe there is a train system that travels between planets at light speed, the Kids own a train. The group is made of outcasts and weirdos who use their talents to entertain in acts, they are each bonded by the common trait of having no family and nowhere to go, despite the fact that none of them are related by blood they became very close and have become each other's new family. While on the outside they may seem like no more then a bunch of family friendly performers, the Kids actually use their act as an alibi for crimes like kidnapping, murder, and manslaughter.

Thomas is the leader of the 90's Kids, as well as the only one that isn't technically a kid. The oldest of the group at the age of twenty, he's a top hat demon who can control reality. However, Thomas's reality bending abilities can only span a certain distance, he's limited to just the area around him, so he can't manipulate everything in the entire universe at once or things beyond his reach. He also can't create energy nor destroy it, he can only use what's available. Some things take more energy then others to do and it can be exhausting for him, and he can't bring people back from the dead. Finally, nothing he does is truly permanent, it's kind of like screwing in a screw, you can still take the screw out and it can still loosen. Thomas acts like the big brother of the group and keeps everyone in order as it's ringmaster, he's also seen as the most powerful of the Kids with his abilities and because of that they respect him. He's very mysterious, and not much is known about him or his species.

The Firestarter is a Fienkin, which is the main species on Asteria, the planet on which The 90's Kids first met and started their circus. Firestarter is not her real name, but what that real name is nobody really knows, not even the other kids. She has severe pyromania, as a child she accidentally killed her biological family in a house fire, and as a Kid her act is pyrotechnics and animal stunts. Firestarter is the third youngest of the group right after Rice Field, while spastic she cares deeply about the other kids.

Rice Field is the second oldest Kid being two months younger then Thomas, and is seen as the big sister of the group. Repeatedly viewed as the most responsible, she's a tad aloof and not as laid back as the other Kids, her maturity is why she's responsible with the business aspect of running the circus. Her loves makeup and looking nice, she came from an extremely rich family (in fact the circus was opened with the money she stole from her father) where she was expected to always look her best. Her father was extremely cruel, and it ended up with her running away from home and it's why she can be being a bit touchy. She means well though, and has extraordinary balance, which is why her act is tightrope walking. Rice Field is rarely seen without her tea cup of rice, and like Firestarter, she is a feinkin and her name is not her real name.

Wind Chester is the youngest of the Kids at age fifteen, and the most mischievous. Able to shape shift into different animals, he can also make himself look exactly like a person if he has recently seen them. He has kleptomania, and struggles to keep his hands to himself when it comes to belongings that are not his own. Wind Chester is a skin walker, if this is what he actually looks like nobody knows, not even himself. He's known for pranking the other kids, and while he can be viewed as horrifically annoying and sometimes insufferable, he is very loyal to the other kids and will get very angry if anyone dares to insult any of them, claiming he's the only one allowed to do that.

Ace is older then Wind Chester, but younger then The Firestarter. Ace is a human who has a deck of magical cards able to tell the future and project things (ex: a sun card would make light and heat, a card with water would make things wet or summon water) and like any good magician they can pull things out of his hat. The mask on their face is actually a prosthetic, what they look like without it and what happened to them is something only the other Kids know. Due to problems with their vocal cords after their accident they're a mute, able to communicate with others with hand gestures and looks. Despite the fact that most can only see their eyes they apparently have a look that says many words. Ace is dubbed the calmest of the Kids, and the least likely to blow something up. They are gender fluid, as their act besides cards is miming, they can be either male or female depending on what they feel like miming. Their pronouns are usually they however.

Half human half fienkin Huxley is the youngest of the group, but is not a 90's Kid, thus the youngest Kid title goes to Windy. Huxley was once an orphan that the 90's Kids found stowaway on their train a year after they started the circus. Feeling pity they took him in and after a few days grew attached to him. Huxley is the baby of the group and the Kids are extremely protective of him. Huxley feels indebted to them and helps the circus by helping clean and running the tickets. Eleven years old, he's been with the Kids for five years now, and despite that they say he can't have his own act due to his age. Huxley is annoyed by that and views himself as responsible and old enough to have an act since the Kids themselves were his age when they started. Little does he know they are doing everything in their power to keep him away from their crimes, and that they are absolutely terrified of him finding out what they really do. Huxley is also the only one that can drive, as Thomas would rather teleport, The Firestarter would accidentally set the car on fire, Rice Field has severe driving anxiety, Wind Chester can't focus not tell left from right, and Ace has poor depth perception.

Margo is a alkin, a cousin species to the fienkin, and he's seen something he really shouldn't have. Now he's been 'adopted' by the Kids and can't tell anyone about what he saw. He has no powers and nobody to listen to him, except Huxley.
