He asked me to pick a bunch of random animals and creatures with traits I desired, and to come back to him with the list, and he'd make me a monster that would be deadly by design. 'Be creative' he said. 'Think of things so wrong that they would make something unthinkable.'

Former Tamer for the Sasuke operation, NME employee Simon Purdie more commonly known by his middle name 'Stolren' was reassigned to creating demonbeasts to be a planetary defence system after the death of his entire previous crew.  Mourning the death of his close friends Shannon (who was also his big time crush) and Gally, Stolren adopted a short tempered and very defensive personality. After a few attempts, Stolren came to realize he had little to no idea how to create a monster capable of doing what he needed to do. He made the request to have a monster engineer as assistant, and found he was paired up with none other than Nacl Newmaker. At first Stolren was repulsed by Nacl's egotistical nature, and was determined to hate him. Stolren's personality and general lack of fear only made Nacl utterly fascinated with him. Eventually due to all the time they spent together, Stolren began to fall in love Nacl, unaware he had developed something akin to Stockholm Syndrome. When Nacl later was reported killed, coworkers reported Stolren to appear almost dead inside, after an episode where he stabbed a fellow employee, shortly after he disappeared from the company altogether and is labeled Missing In Action in company records.
