Meripal is the seaweed Pokémon, it's closely related to the land Pokémon Oddish. This small Pokémon lives in Kalana's reef, which is on the north coast of Kalana. They spend their day gliding in the ocean currents, using their leaves to do so. They are usually very shy, often dazed creatures, and usually don't respond to what's around them till they've been attacked. It evolves at level 28.

Kayonell is the evolved form of Meripal, and is known as the warmhearted Pokémon. This Pokémon likes to see others happy, it can sooth the rage of even the angriest hearts with its calming aura and melodic voice. Kayonell likes to tend to reefs, it plants coral and removes any trash or rubbish it finds. This Pokémon is attracted to bright colours, it doesn't evolve.
