The tough love childminder from my roleplay book An Odd One's Theory: Redeyes. 

Like all childminders, Reaspa started off as a soldier and fought until she was retired, her retirement starting the lifelong career of raising redeyes. As displayed by the two yellow stripes on her clothing, she has a lot of experience and is considered one of the toughest soldiers from her brood. Unfortunately, she's also the sole survivor of her brood, spare her sister who is marked off as a tarcadian traitor. Because of her losses, she treats any brood that comes under her care with incredible sternness and harshness, and believes the tough love will properly prepare them for loss and betrayal. As cold and aloof as she may be, she truly cares about her redeyes and won't hesitate to protect them if she thinks they can't handle a situation. 

This protection, however, does not extend to Mytyo. Due to her immense hatred of Nervemites and her sisters defect, she believes Mytyo will defect back to the Nervemites and betray the brood he'd in. She does not thrust him at all, and is not against leaving him to fend for himself no matter how grave the situation.
