Prince Rowan was a male MudWing prince who lived 3000 years ago, and is one of the first known MudWing animus dragons, as well as the last known one as there hasn't been one since him. Rowan had used his magic for many years to benefit the MudWings, and was beloved and respected by every one, considered by many to be second-in-command of his tribe due to how he assisted his sister. He enchanted several pieces of jewellery to be passed down the royal family that granted them certain gifts if worthy and was known to write several scrolls in his lifetime, being a fan of riddles. He went insane around his thirteenth birthday from the overuse of his powers and was found dead by one of his sibs after he ripped out all of his claws and teeth one by one. He is the great uncle of Queen Crane, and his animus touched cuffs belong to Leather. 

Princess (and later Queen) Briar was a female MudWing princess that lived roughly 2000 years ago around the time of Darkstalker. The daughter of Queen Crane and General Gravel, she had a passion for learning and creating things. She is well known in MudWing history for creating the rock slingers that are used to keep the palace safe from invasion and stopped the SeaWing take over. She eventually challenged and killed her mother when the former queen grew tired of ruling and was suffering from an unknown illness. Queen Briar ruled for many, many years as a fair and kind queen, however, this kindness was only for her tribe and she was known to be merciless towards other dragon tribes. 

General Gravel was a MudWing General to the mother of Queen Crane when he young after he showed to be very formidable in battle. He later fell in love and married Crane, and one of their dragonets was Princess Briar, who he gladly taught his dragonet the art of battle. He is well known for stopping a SkyWing attack on the MudWing Palace and leading a battle up north that eventually led to the claim of the Diamond Spray Delta territory. He was a well-respected dragon and was known to be very suspicious of NightWing powers. He and his daughter wrote a scroll explaining how to make one immune to mind reading. The scroll is currently in the talons of Earthquake. General Gravel died of his wounds after one battle before his daughter became queen. 

Queen Crane was a MudWing queen during the time of Darkstalker, and was thirty-two years old at the time. She was known to be a very respectworthy dragon with nerves of steel and a sharp tongue, who wasn't afraid to express her tribe's strength. She wore the animus touched treasure made by Rowan before she passed it down to her daughter. Crane was married to General Gravel, and ruled the tribe for another eleven years before asking her daughter to take her place as queen.
