The dangerous predator of Emerpus, this massive animal is well adapted to living on the planet of constant harsh wind. As Emerpus is mostly a planet of open prairies, this creature has evolved to be able to completely flatten their bodies against the ground and blend in with the grass. There they can wait for days for prey to wander close enough to stab with their large arm like appendages. With said appendages they can also stand up to get a better view of what's around them. With practice they can even learn to balance and walk, though with the winds it can be a pretty hard challenge. These creatures live on their own and will have challenges of who can stand up taller on their appendages to solve disputes, this allows them to avoid  injuries. Thick fur and thick skin keeps them from feeling the cold while large ears let them hear the slightest of noises, special ridges in the ears keep the wind's howling from muffling other sounds. Though they are unable to eat the paralyalrx, they still do hunt and kill them to assure their own survival, as these humans value their fur for clothes, meat for food, skin for leather, and claws and teeth for weapons.
