Chinook is a very bubbly and energetic skywing, most call her 'the rainwing trapped in a skywing's body'. She's completely fascinated by scavengers and her most treasured possessions are her scavenger cage (a carefully crafted gift from her father for her forth hatching day) and the two scavengers Pebble and Fidget that reside inside. Much like Smoulder and Flower the bond Chinook has with he scavengers is very deep and because of such, Chinook can let her scavenges out without the fear of them running away or trying to attack her. Perhaps this is because Chinook treats them like she treats her fellow dragons and always has their needs in mind. While Chinook was able to take them to The Jade Academy with her, they weren't allowed to stay in her sleeping cave after what happened with Queen Oasis, not everyone likes scavengers like she does. Because of this, Chinook usually slips out of the cave to go sleep next to her scavengers.
