An Odd One's Theory (story idea/Tarcad species)

Warning, this is a realllllly long summary of a story I've created in the past three days with the help of a dream I've been having for the past week. So I'd really like it if those who brace this madness and read it all could give me some feedback! I hope that I can turn this into an animated cartoon one day or a graphic novel.

As the theory goes, we live in the multiverse, a composer of several universes wrapped into a tiny bundle and it too, is just one of many. Together, these universes comprise everything that exists: the entirety of space, time, matter, energy and the physical laws and constants that describe them. The different universes within the multiverse are called "parallel universes", "other universes", or "alternative universes".
On earth a random fourteen year old is suffering though the boredoms of late night math homework, when Veritas, the guardian beast of the 12th island of Oulea crash lands in his backyard after she tries to run away from the akuma, a deadly race who's sole purpose in life is to destroy and conquer. Unfortunately she still dies regardless of her attempt from her wounds and the impact, the boy is drawn to approach and touch her, by doing so he sort of sends a mental ping to Mytyo, who's his au counterpart, playing off the saying 'a reader lives many lives'. The portal to the other universe closes and Veritas's body turns to dust.
On the planet of Oulea, a planet with twelve islands each with a beast that embodies a quality lives Mytyo, a 725 year old ex soldier with a drinking problem who's able to shape shift into a bird called Screwroot (due to the fact that he's an alien species called a Tarcad). Tarcads are beings of light meant to fight the akumas and keep the overlord (the akuma's leader) from taking over. Unfortunately he's the 'last of his kind' after the last war that wiped out all the Tarcad, thus he has depression and is just waiting to die on Oulea, however as the average Tarcad can live up to 10,000 years he knows he's in for a wait. Somewhere deep inside him he can't bring himself to end his own life due to a stubborn spark of hope.
He has his two apprentices Thorn (a very gifted fire eater) and Sharp (who's able to activate a giant suit of armour kinda like a mech) and all three of them live on an island off the main coast of Kapati. The two ended up working for Mytyo after coming to Kapatin (the main town on the mainland) a few years prior to the main story, they hear from the innkeeper of a mysterious and (as the towns folk say) creepy ex knight who'd only come to buy booze and the occasional bunch of groceries, he never talks to anyone and always seems really grumpy. For shits and giggles they decided to try talking to him and asking for training (in reality they figured if he was a soldier he'd have some fancy armour or swords they could steal from him while he is hung over and sell) they arrived and talked to Mytyo, as expected he was really drunk. They asked for some kind of teaching and he tells them to try not plotting out loud in a public place like wannabe villains (he was eavesdropping on them as Screwroot) and hastily blasts them off his front steps with a shapeshifted arm. The two survive managing to catch themselves on the cliff side, and are rather startled and bewildered, and out of anger they decided to try ambushing him, only to find themselves waiting for nearly to days.
(Mini clip)
"Maybe he can sense us," Sharp shrugged his shoulders, feeling the stiff joints pop slightly as he rotated them. "Man, we've been sitting here for like, ever I'm starving..." the bandit let his head lay back against one arm and for a moment he rested, one of his green eyes fluttered back open when he heard Thorn hastily stand up. "Hey where do you think you're going?"
She turned and put her hands to her hips. "Inside, duh, I'm tired of waiting! He's probably hung over somewhere or drowned in vomit or something like that, we might as well help ourselves to whatever he has in his kitchen." Thorn marched up to the door, her fox like tail bristling slightly like it did every time she was fired up.
"Uh, you sure that's a good idea?" His voice rang with doubt, the navy haired man had proved himself to be able to pull off what seemed like pretty strong magic, even if he was clearly incredibly drunk.
"Sharp you big baby get over here and help me pick this lock," she snapped, and he sighed.
"Alright fine."
The two break in and do get to the kitchen, but they find several signs of someone who isn't in a good mental state and can't help but grow slightly worried. Sharp and even Thorn start to get a bit worried that Mytyo really has died and find his room, where there's the pictures of him and his old comrades and his set of armour, and start getting an idea of just what Mytyo has been though. They feel bad and upon hearing him clearly well enough to blast them again, they decide to leave, and return the next day with a bottle of booze to apologize for tormenting Mytyo. He accepts it but still turns them away, and blasts them a few more times when they refuse to leave, finally after growing to like them somewhat and realizing he didn't have to go to the mainland anymore if he had them to do it for him, he let them say and live with him and even trained them. They find out they are Soron Bonded.
One hundred and ninty six years prior, a young Cabica is sent away by her parents with harsh words of how they were glad to get rid of her which are intended to keep her from wanting to rescue them from the overlord, which would put her in danger. They rather her hate her and be safe then her then her have the heart to come back to the Car Factory. This however, while keeping her safe gives her abandonment problems. Her ship is programmed to fly somewhere safe, but during its course it's attacked by Akuma and the ship puts her into hyper sleep, she stays that way for nearly two hundred years. The ship by then is nearly out of power and on its last systems when it senses Mytyo (Cabica's Soron Bond) and sets its course to Oulea. It makes it to the atmosphere before completely breaking down.
Her ship crash lands on Oulea and a very foggy, groggy Cabica is taken to the orphanage for the time being, where she spends two days at the orphanage slowly regaining her memory. Mytyo, who can sense what she is, adopts her (more like he matches in, ignored all the paper work, tells her to pack her things and takes her)
She's suspicious but starts to accept him over days of training and other activities, mostly fighting Akumas who have been able to invade now that Vertias is dead, all while protecting Kapatin. She's later sent to Kapatin's magic school, where she gets to learn to control the magical abilities Tarcads have. She proves to be far powerfuler then any of the Kapitians due to her species, and accidentally sets the school on fire, Mytyo decides its safer to home school her and easier on his wallet (as he had to pay for the damage) A few months pass.
She comes to learn from Sharp and Thorn that Mytyo is an alien (she doesn't know she's also a Tarcad or that he's a Tarcad, the only ones to believe Mytyo is an alien is Thorn and Sharp as Oulea is a very closed off planet that doesn't space travel or really believe in aliens) and some kind of ex soldier, which is why he drinks so often, and according to Sharp often cries at night.
The overlord's first wave comes to Oulea, causing Mytyo to gloat that he wasn't lying about there being aliens. The group thinks they can fight it off but it doesn't go so well and they get captured and thrown in the ship and shot into space. Mytyo starts to realize that things are serious as he breaks out his crew and makes some new friends and his crew basically gets bigger. The cell Cabica was in was far more advanced then the others, and hears from a guard that when they return she needs to be sent to the DayCare before she's too dangerous. He realizes that Cabica can kill the overlord, but isn't ready yet, and that she needs to live or else everything is doomed.
Mytyo tries to send Cabica away in an escape pod, and he uses the same tactic as her parents did, trying to insist she was in his way and it would be better for him not to baby sit her. Cabica breaks down and panics saying she thought he cared and wanted her, and in a moment of impulse she uses her powers to break down the door and heads for the DayCare, saying if he doesn't want her maybe the overlord will.
She turns herself into the DayCare where she's quickly put within the ranks until the overlord can come see her. She's shocked to find everyone behaves much like a robot and they've all been turned into useless brainless people who can't fight back, creating things is illegal as it promotes self efficiency, which is taboo when the 'glorious overlord provides them with all they need'. Children obediently fall into mindless lines which Cabica doesn't understand, the Nannies try to shepherd her but also find her behaviour hard to deal with having never had to deal with it before. At the table for lunch, Cabica is still too down to eat, and she finds the food repulsive compared to what Thorn and Sharp can make. The Nannies do their routine of making the children pray for their food and thank the overlord for his generosity, and then began asking each children what their dreams are, each of which replying how they can't wait to do their assigned job and please the overlord. Cabica learns that everyone's completely brainwashed. One child however pulls out some markers he's made and says he wants to be an artist, immediately causing the Nannies to take them away, remind him it's illegal, and that he has spat at the overlords will for his life, he's taken away to the box of shame where he'll be left in the dark with only water for the next three days. Cabica is horrified, the Nannies ask what her dreams are and when she's reminded of her previous dream to be like a brave fighter like Mytyo she says she has none because her future is dead.
Mytyo later comes and breaks her out with the help of a wily alien named Kihiri, apologizing and stating that he didn't know if he could take seeing another loved one die, but states losing their faith and trust is equally as worse. Making up, their Soron Bond activates and they manage to fry the ships core momentarily forcing the ship to land and allowing them to all escape. On their way off they come across a weird room and find the prince (an egg) and take him, stealing the overlords heir.
They escape the overlord's ship for the time being, but are stuck on the planet Solva. Mytyo steals a bunch of stuff from a store (his motives are questioned but he says he would work better when he's not suffering from withdrawal and that they could replay the people later with the removal of the overlord who's severely taxing them) he also highjacks a car, which Sharp begs to be allowed to fiddle with. Mytyo says he has two minutes and that he better not break the chilled seats. Two minutes later they have the Sharp car and Mytyo is gleeful to find it has the hyperdrive that Sharp raided from the overlord's ship. They use this to get past the cops when they notice one guy speed normally, however Kihiri asks if there's cops also with hyper drives, and just as she says that they're immediately pulled over. Mytyo gets ready to pull a car chase and orders everyone to the back of the car (since cars are giant on this planet) only to find it's not actual cops.
The overlord sent his upmost trusted four soldiers the Purebreds to stop the group and steal back the prince as well as Cabica. The Purebreds contain his Ward Qea, a xipotika (a pure bred unlike Kihiri, is a shy guy constantly bullied into commission by the overlord with threats to kill his family, he's pacifist but is turned evil by threats) a human named Ken and a four armed cat like alien named Dogil. They insult the group for all being freaks and unloyal, saying they should all be disgusted with themselves.
Mytyo sort of just shrugs and says he already is on a daily basis whereas Sharp sort of just says same. The five's xipotika Kihiri is a very small part Tarcad and when stopped by the Purebreds during the 'car chase' she says in a very happy voice she outta be ashamed of her lineage (although it's clear that she isn't as she happily changes colour, which is something Tarcads can do, Mytyo says he doesn't like to do it because it's embarrassing while Cabica is amazed and wants to know how to do it herself. The purebreds get angry that they aren't being paid attention too and hastily beat up the gang to prove they are actually a threat, stealing Cabic and the prince they take off. Thorn remarks they really outta stop being so cocky, which Mytyo says he could of one if he wasn't holding back.
Mytyo highjacks another vehicle (this time a large transport truck) and Mytyo let's Thorn drive, which is a mistake as Thorn is an absolute maniac on the road, the leader of the purebreds (Ken) sees the truck barreling down on them and says they outta brace for impact as the back of their vehicle goes flying forth. The purebreds get ready to beat the group up a second time only for Mytyo to tell them to give him a minute, as he pulls out something he bought from the store, a case for a drinking game called Plasma. Plasma is a case of twenty four cans of Guzla, a fizzy alcohol, four of the twenty cans explode when opened due to containing edible gunpowder. It's not a game meant for those who die when they explode, Mytyo however as a Tarcad is able to brush off the force, while none of the Purebreds can. He blows up the escape vehicle the purebreds had with it, and he reveals some of his other abilities (warping and telekinesis) knowing with them he can't fool around as much as he'd like to, he quickly turns the tables and they demand to know what he is when he brushes off a counter attack. Upon finally announcing that he's a Tarcad, the purebreds hastily retreat knowing they can't win. Dars 09 (a shapeshifter that Mytyo freed back on the overlord's ship) says he has a place at the edge of the city with a warp pad that can be repaired and get them back to Kapatin. The place is hidden well enough that they can live there undirected for awhile. Mytyo tells Cabica that she needs to kill the overlord and that he'll train her to do so.
The others try to convince Mytyo to to try getting a roommate after he had a bittersweet dream about his old comrades and a party they went to to celebrate a victory, which leads to him waking up sobbing and screaming when the dream shifts to them being slaughtered. Mytyo denies it and says he'll be fine and that he has the crew and doesn't need anyone else. Thorn and Sharp theorize he had a past lover that died thus is too afraid to try to get another one. He starts having dreams of a the place he was raised, The Car Factory, a place cut off from the rest of the world forcing a person to live in isolation. His dreams lead him to a smart mouthed sarcastic rugger (otherwise known as a cyborg being) named Brone. He saves Brone from his 'owner' and they end up going to a inn to hide out when Akuma start prowling around in heavy numbers, much to Mytyo's dismay the have to hide out and wait for them to leave. Mytyo gets déjà vu from the inn, and realizes he's been there before when he was a soldier. The memories get to him and after getting incredibly drunk he passes out hard
Mytyo has a dream of him as a kid sneaking between rooms to get to the exit of the apartment, and sees what he believes to be his step mother on the couch passed out drunk, he travels down to the forbidden prison zone, upon returning he starts asking about his father, whom has been 'dead since he was born' and why he was imprisoned. His mother snaps at him, asking how he knew that. He said he saw him, that he's tall, and that he also abused substances, something called a demon drug, but seemed alright. Mytyo's mother slaps him and tells him never to mention his father or go anywhere forbidden again. He wakes up to find he's in bed with the rugger and exclaims he really needs to stop drinking, and Brone rolls out of bed like it's no big deal and tells him to get ready. He later finds out that they're very similar, Mytyo spend six years alone after his comrades all died trusting nobody and refusing to let others get close, whereas Brone lived in The Car Factory isolated with no outside interaction for nearly the same amount of time as an 'owner rugger'. He asks if he can remember anything from his time there, and the rugger admits that part of his memory was stolen from him, and all he can really remember was the time there in general, not why or anything else of importance.
Mytyo finally decides there's only one thing left to do, and that's break into The Car Factory, him and Brone set off to get Brone's memory chip back, while Mytyo wants to see if he can find any traces of his childhood.
