"She has a crush on someone" Melissa said totally ignoring the girls.

"Who???A boy?? A girl??"

"A-"

"Hey"

I stilled at the eeriely familiar voice and looked up to see Steve one of Cameroon's friend, his hand suspended in the air as he stared at us awkwardly.

"Heyo Duckling" Melissa said obviously looking for trouble.

"Hey Steve,What's up??" I asked wondering why he was here,don't get me wrong Steve is interesting though he is really shy but we don't really socialize that much.

"Huh, I just came to ask Amy something"

I stared at him in surprise not because he wanted to talk to her but because he called her Amy.

Amelia hates it when people calls her Amy and that's why noone does except from I and Melissa of course or so I thought.

I stared at Amelia confused that she wasn't scolding him for calling her Amy cause she really really hates it, in fact her eyes seems to lit up in excitement as she replied.

"About the project??" She asked obviously excited.

" Yeah." Steve said in monotone voice clearly uncomfortable as he shifts his weight from one leg to another. Of course he will be uncomfortable,with the way Melissa was scrutinizing him anyone in his shoes will be uncomfortable.

Amelia stared back at us- myself and Mel with a wide grin plastered on her face while we both stared back with confused looks on our faces.

She gave us the "I will explain later"-look before getting up to walk away dragging Steve along with her.

Mel looked happy and I am as well, Amy hardly socialize with people most especially boys She stopped trying to have a friend that was a boy when their dad took a wrong turn.

I was pulled out of my thoughts when I felt some movements and my eyes caught the figure of a girl sitting, who I have probably seen in the school one time or so,she was currently setting her books down the table completely ignoring I and Melissa presence.

I and Melissa both stared at each other before staring back at the girl who was still ignoring our presence.

The mysterious girl sighed before opening one of the books she set down simultaneously looking up at us with a confused look, a look we were meant to give her.

"What??" The girl asked us, raising one perfect eyebrow.

Damn I wish I could do that.

"What do you mean 'what', we are not the one seating on someone's seat" Mel said, with a hint of anger lacing her voice.

"I don't see your name written on it" She said calmly.

Mel was literally boiling up and I can feel the heat from where I was seated.

"What-" Mel started but I cut her off instantly because I knew she was literally ready for a fight.

"It's fine,she is already sitter already" I said hoping it will help calm her down.

Mel didn't speak and I stole a glance at her to see her scrutinizing her, something she does a lot. Anyone not familiar with her would probably think she was judging her but that's just something she does when she meets new people.

Staring back at Nicholas I could finally take in her features. She has long brownish black hair reaching up to her mid back area, orbs that looked like the combination of fire and ice, full plump pink lips and a cute button nose. She looks quite older than me but probably around the same age as Mel and Amy.

As if sensing my gaze, she turned her eyes away from her book to stare at me.

Letting out another sigh, she said

"The name is Nicole, what's yours??"

"Melissa"

"Eliana"

"Nice to meet you both"

After some seconds of uncomfortable silence, Mel finally spoke to ease the atmosphere

"Why did you come to seat here??"

"I thought Steph was your friend, Is he not??"

"Steph??" Mel asked sounding confused like I am

"Steven, he just left with the other girl"

"Oh Steve, well I don't know him that much though. Do you know him?!?"

"Yh, he is my brother"

"But you both don't look alike" I said finally joining the conversation.

"Yh, I am adopted" Nicole said nonchalantly.

"Ohh" Myself and Mel said in unison.

Nicole was just about to speak when a loud screech was heard followed by a slight bang then..

"What the heck!!"
