Third Person POV

Odin: "Now then, I am sure you three wish to know why I felt the need to pull such a thing?"

The All-father was standing in a room with Sirzechs, Michael, and Azazel. Both the leader of the Devil and the Angel faction were staring at the old man with a rather serious expression.

Meanwhile, the governor on the other hand simply remained where he stood with his arms behind his head, still wearing his sun glasses.

Michael's: "Indeed, Lord Odin. We wish to know why you felt the need to put everyone in danger"

Sirzechs: "Exactly..."

He crossed his arms.

Sirzechs: "Why did you order Loki to try and stop the signing? Just what were you thinking?!"

Odin let out a small sigh.

Odin: "I am not so arrogant to not realize my mistakes; Sirzechs. I have made plenty of them in the past but..."

He shifted his attention away from the devil king over towards the nearby window.

Odin: "I did not wish for my son to continue mopping about the past..."

Azazel: "Ah, I get it. This is about Kali, isnt it?"

Odin slowly nodded his head while Sirzechs and Michael remained silent; they had never met the woman face-to-face before, but they knew of her existence and heard the tragedy that was her unfortunate demise.

They also knew that Thor was hurt the most by his wife's death; his attitude doing a complete 180 from how it used to be. Back then, Thor was loud, fun-going, and loved seeking out warriors to battle against.

But the moment after Kali had died; Thor had confined himself to his quarters, refusing to eat or drink anything. He just sat in the room... just staring at the wall.

Even if someone was able to get him out of his quarters; the damage had already been do e and Thor had changed... becoming the cold, menacing behemoth that everyone now knows him to be.

In a way; one could not blame Odin for trying to fix the broken relationship between a father and a daughter, that being Thor and Yoruichi. However, he could've done it a little better without risking the lives of so many people.

Sirzechs: "So, you did all this to help Thor reconnect with his daughter?"

Odin nodded.

Odin: "Yes, I did. I knew that if Yoruichi were in grave danger; my son wouldn't hesitate to jump in to protect her..."

Michael: "And Lord Loki agreed to help you?"

Odin: "He did..."

Azazel chuckled.

Azazel: "I'm surprised he agreed; I thought he hated you for having him suffer to thay snakes venom"

Odin: "Actually, that line wasn't in my plan... I can only assume that Loki was truthfully speaking with hatred when he said those words..."

He sighed.

Odin: "And to be fair, I cannot blame him.... A lot of my actions haven't exactly been the noblest; trapping Loki and having him suffer is simply among the cruelest actions I have done"

Azazel: "So you think the brats gonna actually take a swing at you one day?"

Odin simply shrugged.

Odin: "Perhaps he will, perhaps he won't... we can never tell"

He shifted his attention up to the ceiling above him.

Odin: "Time's are changing and we must change as well..."

Azazel couldn't help but let out a soft chuckle.

Azazel: "You got that right, Old man. The times have changed, sooner than you think..."

He looked at Sirzechs and Michael.

Azazel: "So, you think the kid will help us with our little problem?"

Michael: "I certainly hope so; but we cannot force him to partake if he does not wish..."

The leader of the angels looked at Sirzechs.

Michael: "Wouldn't you agree, Sirzechs?"

The crimson red-haired man nodded his head.

Sirzechs: "Yes, weather Issei Hyoudou decides to aid us or not; we will continue with the operation...."

He stared at the three leaders in front of him; a serious look plastered on his face.

Sirzechs: "Preparations for the Jeju Island Raid is almost complete..."

Opening: Start

Issei walked through the streets of Kuoh with his hands in his pockets, a serious expression on his face as his eyes glowed with a faint purple hue.

"I remembered black skies..."

Issei made his way toward the center of Kuoh, the sky covered in darkness as thunder roared and lightning raged off in the distance.

"The lightning all around me..."

Issei closed his eyes as several images flashed through his mind, most notably Sona, Rias and her Peerage, his mother, Yoruichi, and Yamato.

"I remembered each flash..."

Shadows began to creep out and make their way toward the brown-haired boy.

"As time began to blur..."

The shadows swirled and danced around Issei, who remained where he stood, unbothered by what was happening.

"Like a startling sign..."

Numerous hands began to rise up from the shadows, grabbing onto the ground and slowly pulling themselves up.

"That fate had finally found me..."

A small smile grew on Issei's face as he opened his eyes, looking around and seeing all of his shadow soldiers awaiting his command.

"And your voice was all I heard...."

Issei's eyes started to glow more purple as he summoned his Baran Daggers, turning his gaze toward the sky.

"That I get what I deserve..."

The title "Solo Leveling" appeared in the sky in a flash of purple light.

"So give me reason!"

Issei and Sun Wukong stood against one another, their weapons drawn as the Monkey King smirked.

"To prove me wrong!"

Ophis watched Issei from a distance, a small smile of amusement on her face before she turned and was greeted by Gorou, who held a serious expression.

"To wash this memory clean!"

Ddraig let out a thunderous roar that shook the very landscape itself.

"Let the floods cross!"

Issei was minding his business with Sun Wukong, but Ra soon appeared out of nowhere with a flirty grin, which startled the brown-haired boy.

"The distance in your eyes!"

Odin observed Issei with his son Thor standing next to him, only to immediately change and start giving Yoruichi lots of hugs, much to her embarrassment.

"Give me reason!"

Loki appeared from a magic circle with a grin as his eyes glowed.

"To fill this hole!"

Ddraig battled against Jörmungandr, grabbing onto the serpent's neck and slamming it to the ground.

"Connect this space between"

Other deities appeared; Hades had a serious expression, Set was busy dealing with Anubis and Horus, Shiva was dancing with his son, and Zeus was busy flirting while Hera glared.

"Let it be enough to reach the truth that lies!"

Issei faced off against a humanoid ant that let out a mighty roar directly in Issei's face, but he didn't even flinch.

"Across this new divide!"

Issei glanced toward the readers, his eyes glowing with a menacing purple hue as he uttered the words "Arise," and then everything went black.

Opening: End

Issei, Yamato, Rias and her Peerage stood in front of the Gremory Household. However, they were not alone because in front of them was Rias's parents,  Millicas, Grayfia, and a couple of other maids.

Rias looked at her parents.

Rias: "Thank you omce again, Mother... you too, Father"

She then looked down at Millicas.

Rias: "We're heading off now, Bye Millicas"

The crimson-red-haired boy pouted.

Millicas: "Already? But you only just got here! Do you have to leave already?"

Rias: "I'm sorry, Millicas. But yes, we do"

Grayfia raised a hand and gently placed it on the young mans shoulder.

Grayfia: "Lady Rias is incredibly busy; we can't be greedy and keep her to ourselves"

Millicas turned his attention towards the silver-haired woman.

Millicas: "I guess you're right. Okay, Mom..."

After Millicas said those words; it left both Xenovia and Asia shocked from what they had just heard.

Xenovia: "No way, that's his mother!?"

Asia: "Seriously!?"

Issei was also taken aback by this sudden discovery; although he wasn't as shocked as Xenovia or Asia was. This is mainly because he figured that Millicas's mother had to be someone he had already met before; since she would've showed up during dinner and attended the party with the others.

Plus, it made sense since besides being Sirzechs Queen piece and the household maid... Issei usually sees her by the Devil King's side whenever he shows up.

Issei: 'So, Grayfia is Sirzechs wife...'

He crossed his arms.

Issei: 'Can't say im surprised...'

Suddenly, a screen appeared before Issei.

Issei: 'Oh, Great. What now....'

[Notice: Player should take Maid away and add her to growing hare-]

Issei proceeded to punch the system screen; which he was glad no one was looking at him, sending it flying off into the distance.

Issei: 'No, you cant just fuck off with that'

Another screen appeared, making Issei silently groan to himself.

[WARNING: Player has become Violent!]

Solution: Get nore bit-

Issei glared at the screen, his pupils briefly shifting into slits as his eyes glowed with a menacing purple hue.

Issei: 'Don't. Even. Finish that sentence....'

Silence.

Silence.

Silence.

Silence.

With no response from the system; Issei silently sighed to himself as his eyes stopped glowing; his pupils reverting back to their usual state.

Once was a coincidence, two times were a little weird, three times was even weirder; but now that it has been a total of... honestly, he can't recall; but the point is that Issei was sure that whoever made the system was not only watching his progress, but was also messing with him.

He was getting sick of it; didn't they have something better to do than mess with him?

Issei shook his head as he turned his attention over to Yamato.

Issei: "Hey, Yamato"

Yamato: "Hm?"

She turned to the brown-haired boy.

Yamato: "Yes, Issei?"

Issei: "Have you seen Yoruichi? It's time for us to head off and I haven't seen her since the fight"

Yamato shook her head as she crossed her arms.

Yamato: "Can't say I have..."

Issei: "I see..."

Yamato: "You think she's alright?"

Issei didn't say anything back to Yamato; he began thinking of reasons why Yoruichi hadn't showed up, but if he had to be honest... there was probably only one real answer.

Issei: "I think she's alright, she's probably t-"

???: "I'm probably what, Issei?"

Perking up by the voice, Issei and Yamato turned and were greeted by Yoruichi walking over, followed by Thor and another person.... one covered in bruises.

Ignoring the bruises; the person was a tall, lean yet muscular man. He had purple eyes with slanted pupils; similar to a goat. Meanwhile his hair was green in color with a white highlight tuff on the left side.

Issei: 'Wait, is that...'

Yamato: "Oh, Yoruichi! There you are!"

She walked over and hugged her friend.

Yamato: "What took you so long?! We were starting to get worried!"

Yoruichi chuckled as she hugged her friend back.

Yoruichi: "I know, I know, Yamato and I'm sorry..."

She glanced at Thor, who watched with a neutral expression.

Yoruichi: "My... father and I needed to have a chat..."

She then glared at the green-haired person.

Yoruichi: "We also needed to teach my Uncle a lesson...."

Yamato blinked.

Yamato: "Wait, Uncle?..."

She pointed at the man.

Yamato: "You mean to tell me that he's-"

Issei: "That's Loki..."

The brown-haired boy walked over, standing next to Yamato as he crossed his arms.

Issei: "I'm guessing that this is your actual appearance, Loki?"

The bruised man, who was revealed to be none other than the God of Mischief, Loki, couldn't help but rubbed the back of his neck, but with a flinch.

Loki: "Hehe, yep... this is what I really look like"

He let out another chuckle; only to once again flinch from the bruises.

Loki: "Ow..."

Yamato: "Jeez..."

She looked at Yoruichi.

Yamato: "What did you and your dad do to him?"

Yamato couldn't help but roll her eyes.

Yamato: "We didn't harm him THAT badly..."

Loki coughed.

Loki: "Liar"

The purple-haired woman slowly turned her head towards the God, a innocent smile on her face.

Yoruichi: "You say something, Uncle?"

Loki's face paled as a shiver ran down his spine; he immediately shook his head.

Loki: "N-no, I didn't say anything"

He flinched in pain again, but he slowly gave a thumbs up.

Loki: "All good here!"

Yoruichi: "Good, let's keep it that way"

She looked at Thor.

Yoruichi: "Wouldn't you agree?... father"

Thor slowly nodded his head.

Thor: "Indeed, Yoruichi..."

Both Issei and Yamato couldn't help but sweat drop at this; they weren't sure weather or not this was a good thing or not. While yes, Yoruichi was getting along with her father... hopefully. The two didn't like the fact that their friend was being so... scary? Weird?

Something along those lines.

Issei: "Well then..."

With his thumb, Issei pointed over his shoulder at Rias and her Peerage.

Issei: "Shall we get going? It will be a while before we get back to the human wor-"

???: "Ah, good. Your still here!"

Silently groaning at the familiar voice, Issei shifted his eyes over towards the source and was greeted by the sight of Azazel. However, the governor wasn't alone because Michael, Odin, and Sirzechs were also with him.

He looked at the three and bowed slightly.

Issei: "Lord Sirzechs, Lord Michael, and Lord Odin. It's good to see you three..."

He then shifted his attention over to Azazel.

Issei: ".... I forgot you existed"

Azazel let out a fake hurtful gasp.

Azazel: "How could you forget about me! Im the fan favorite!"

Issei deadpanned.

Issei: "No, you're thr weird one...."

Azazel: "Wow, that's just hurtful"

The brown-haired boy rolled his eyes.

Issei: "Yeah, yeah..."

He then looked at the other three.

Issei: "What can I help you three with? We're just about to head back to the human world"

Sirzechs: "We know. Issei. But we have something rather important to discuss with you"

Issei glanced back at Rias, who was waiting for him.

Issei: "Can we make this quick?"

Azazel: "Sure, it won't take long. Under a minute tops!"

Issei let out a small sigh.

Issei: "Alright, what is it?"

Michael: "Young Hyoudou, we greatly request your aid... for the Jeju Island Raid"

Issei let out a small sigh.

Issei: "Jeez, what a day..."

Currently, the young man was in his bedroom, sitting at his desk and the reason for that was due to what was currently on said desk. It turned out that despite going on summer break, the academy decided to still hand out homework for the students.

So now, Issei needed to do a little bit of catching up. Normally this wouldn't be a issue for him, but he had just gotten back home and now he needs to do more work?

Can he at least have five minutes to rest before he does something? Like, seriously.

Issei: "I can't believe I have to do this..."

???: "Well, it's kinda your fault for not remembering about it"

He glanced over at his bed, which was currently being occupied by both Yoruichi and Yamato, who were in their animal forms.

Yoruichi: "Just cause you went on vacation; doesn't mean you can slack off on your school work"

Issei deadpanned at the black cat.

Issei: "Yoruichi, don't sass me. I already get enough of that from my mother"

Yoruichi: "Oh, I know..."

She smirked.

Yoruichi: "Where do you think I got it from?"

Issei didn't respond back; he just let out a small sigh as he shook his head.

Yamato soon lifted her head and looked at Issei.

Yamato: "Speaking of your mother, it was kinda weird how she left the house when we showed up"

Issei hummed in agreement as he recalled the last fifteen minutes ago.

(Flashback)

Issei stood in front of his house; both Yoruichi and Yamato, who were in their animal forms, standing on either side of the brown-haired boy.

Issei: "Finally! I never eant to take another train ever again!"

Yoruichi: "Come on, it wasnt that bad..."

Issei glanced down at the black cat.

Issei: "I had to keep an eye out for Ra the entire time"

Yamato tilted her head.

Yamato: "Why are you afraid of her?"

Issei: "Oh, I not afraid of her... I just don't want to be apart of her..."

He shivered.

Issei: "Weird shit..."

Both Yoruichi and Yamato looked at each other with confused looks; but they soon did an animal version of shrugging their shoulders.

Both: "Whatever you say, Issei"

Issei shook his head as he turned his attention back towards the front door of his house. He reached out and grabbed onto the doorknob, opening up the door and making his way inside with Yoruichi and Yamato following closely behind him.

Issei: "I'm hom-"

Unfortunately, before Issei had a chance to finish his own sentence; the young man cut himself off and this wad due to a rather... unexpected sight before him.

Issei was greeted by the sight of his mother, still wearing her pajamas, sitting on the couch and watching TV. However, the entire living room was a complete mess; it looked like a miniature tornado had just ran through the place.

There were clothes scattered across the ground, crumpled up paper, plastic bags, and a bunch of other stuff dotted around the place as well.

Yoruichi and Yamato blinked in surprise at the mess before them.

Miki didn't hear her son's voice as she was too busy watching what appeared to be a... Spanish love drama show or something? Whatever it was, the two could see that Miki was really hooked onto it.

As for Issei, his right eye twitched at the sight of the messy living room. He slowly made his way over to the couch, standing behind it and looming over his mother; who has still not noticed his presence.

Issei: 'Mother...'

Without hesitation, Issei lifted his right hand up and proceeded to gently karate chop his mother on the head.

Miki: "Ow!"

She grabbed onto her head.

Miki: "What the hell!?"

She swung her head around to see who had the audacity to hit her.

Miki: "How dare you hi-"

Unfortunately for Miki; she wasnt able to finish her sentence as her eyes widened at the sight of her son, standing behind her, looking down at the brown-haired woman with his arms crossed and a serious look on his face.

Miki: "I-issei!"

She quickly stood up.

Miki: "Y-your back! I didn't hear you come in!"

Issei: "Uh huh..."

Miki gulped slightly at the sight of her child's serious look; she didn't like that look, not at all.

Miki: "S-so... How was your summer break? D-did you and your friends have fun?"

Issei: "Uh huh..."

Noticing the twitch in Issei's eye; Miki slowly pieced together what was going on as her own eyes soon shifted away from the young man and onto... the messy living room.

Miki: "O-oh..."

She rubbed the back of her neck.

Miki: "Y-your probably wondering why the living room is a mess... are you?"

Issei narrowed his eyes, causing Miki to flinch.

Miki: "R-right, silly question..."

Issei: "Yeah... you have a lot of explaining to do, Mother..."

(Flashback End)

Issei: "Oh yeah..."

He pinched the bridge of his nose and let out a sigh.

Issei: "I honestly can't believe she managed to make such a mess while I was away... I wasn't gone for THAT long"

Yoruichi: "I mean, it was summer break..."

Issei: "I..."

He let out another sigh.

Issei: "I guess you have a point there, Yoruichi..."

Yamato: "Well, at least there some good news"

The young man raised an eyebrow.

Issei: "And what pray tell is that, Yamato?"

Yamato: "At least, Azazel hasn't shown up like he said he would!"

Silence.

Silence.

Silence.

Silence.

Issei: "Oh yeah, forgot about that...."

He crossed his arms.

Issei: "Guess he's finally learned his lesson!"

Yoruichi: "Or he's busy with what the faction leaders asked of you before we left the underworld"

Issei fell silent from Yoruichi's words; he had to admit that she did make a good point. Before he left, the leaders did ask Issei if he would lend their aid for the upcoming Jeju Island Raid.

He did ask for some details about it; since that was the first time he had ever heard of such a thing and it was safe to say.... he could see why they were asking for his aid. A whole island that has been overrun by giant red ants, it honestly sounded like something out of a Manga.

However, Issei couldn't help but feel like there was more to this tale than meets the eye. Like, had the ants really been living on Jeju Island for so long? And more importantly... why were they trying to escape it?

Searching for more food was the first thing that came to Issei's mind, but for some reason... he feels like there's more to it.

Now, he could be wrong about this but... Issei thinks that the system has something to do with the ants.

Sure, it doesn't line up on paper since the ants have been around long before Issei got the system. But the System has done some pretty strange things....

So summoning a bunch of ants doesn't sound so far fetched the more he thought about it; they could very well of came from a dungeon, one that broke after some time and unleashed the insects onto the island.

If their presence was due to the system; Issei can once again see why the faction leaders asked for his aid.

Issei: 'If I do join in, not only will I be helping but...'

He glanced to his right as a system window popped up, showing his stats.

Issei: 'I'll also be getting thr final levels i need to reach level 100...'

He then pulled his eyes away from the screen and stared up at the ceiling above him.

Issei: 'But I just got back and.... I don't want to leave my mother alone again'

He silently sighed to himself.

Issei: 'This is gonna be a tough choice...'

Meanwhile...

Far away; far from the town of Kuoh, heck even far from the country of Japan was a lone island in the middle of the sea. Although, this was no ordinary island; no, this island was the one that had the three faction leaders asking for aid; Jeju Island.

Night time had descended upon the island; all appeared to be nice and quiet on the surface. However, the same couldn't be said for deep within the islands cave system.

???: "We must abandon the island..."

From the darkness came a large crimson red ant; its antennae twitching slightly as it scanned the area around it; after a few seconds, it continued moving forward.

???: "There is no food here; oir children are eating their children..."

A group of red ants stood over a dead ant; feasting on their companions exo-skeleton and its insides.

???: "There is no longer any food here to support the citizens of our kingdom"

From the darkness; a pair of large glowing red eyes appeared, burning with a errie scarlet aura.

???: "WE CANNOT ALLOW THIS TO CONTINUE!"

The eyes shifted their position, looking towards their right, and were greeted by the sight of dozens of human-sized ant eggs. However, there was one that was much larger than all the others, a slightly translucent egg that showed the ant within it.

???: "We need a stronger soldier...."

From the darkness, a huge ant leg stepped out.

???: "An all-powerful soldier to lead the citizens of our kingdom"

The owner of the ant leg soon came out of the darkness; revealing them to be none other a giant albino ant with crimson red eyes and red highlights throughout its body.

White Ant: "For the sake of our Kingdom; make the enemies who stand in our way tremble in fear!"

Inside the translucent egg; the bigger ant remained motionless. But before long, it's body began to twitch slightly and that was because of what was going on within its mind.

For the sake of our Kingdom....

MAKE THE ENEMIES WHO STAND INBOUR WAY TREMBLE IN FEAR!

White Ant: "You must become stronger"

The ants arm began to move; pushing again the walls of the translucent egg.

You must become stronger...

After a couple of seconds, the arm managed to pierce through the shell of the egg; revealing a hand adorned with four razor sharp claws.

The huge white ant watched in silence as the newly birthed ant continued to force itself out of the confinements of its eggs. It only took a matter of seconds to fully free itself; slowly rising its body up as it stood on TWO legs before...

Ant: "SCREEEEECH!!!"

The ant let out a thunderous screech, echoing throughout the entire cave system as its body was covered in a powerful aura that sent out gust of wind.

The white ant watched this whole thing and stared at the newly birthed soldier with a look that could only be described as hope.

White Ant: 'Consume all there is to consume, and become stronger....'

The aura that was radiating off the new ant was unlike anything; it was so vast, so dangerous, and so powerful that if anyone were passing by Jeju Island weather that be on boat or on plane...

They would see what could only be described as a nightmare on the island.

White Ant: 'Become Stronger... my child'
