Part 72 Understanding Partner

"Hello, Ms. Trivedi" Aman shook hands with Savitha.

"Nice to meet you again Mr. Mathur"

Aman smiled.

"By the way, are you here for an official gathering?"

"No... We are here for an unofficial party. All are my friends"

Savitha looked at them.

"Yeah, I know only one among these guys... I saw him with you yesterday" She pointed at Arnav.

"Yeah... She is Khushi. His wife..."

"Oh... Nice to meet you Khushi. I'm thankful to your husband and Mr. Mathur. They saved me from a rogue"

Khushi smiled slightly.

"It's our responsibility to save a girl from trouble Ms. Trivedi," Aman said.

"Thanks..."

"By the way, what are you here for?" Aman asked.

"I came to meet my friend but she canceled the meet as she became busy with her personal commitment"

"Could you join us?" Aman offered.

Savitha thought for a few seconds and nodded her head.

"Ok..."

"We are honored..." Aman pulled the chair next to him for her.

Savita sat and smiled mildly.

"Nannav, don't to think this channel is tuning smoothly?" NK murmured.

"Shut up... She is one of the big shots of Mumbai and the young businesswomen also. Don't let her know that you are a monkey" Arnav warned.

"Look at Aman's face... is not he looking cheesy?"

Arnav looked at Aman and controlled his smile.

Ms. Savitha talked a lot with Aman about business and moved so casually.

That's when she got a call on her mobile. She attended it.

"Yes, Dad...?"

"......"

" No, I am not with Julie. She didn't come."

"...."

"No dad, I don't want dinner. I am having dinner with Mr. Mathur."

"...."

"Yeah, I just met him in this hotel. He is with his friends"

"......"

"Okay dad "

She disconnected the call.

"I heard you are a friendly CEO... I didn't believe it then but now I have no choice other than to believe it" Savitha smiled.

"These guys are my college mates and Arnav is my manager. She is NK's fiancee. All are like my family." Aman said proudly.

"Nice to hear... I think I should also try this way to keep my office as a family" she said with a smile.

"People will respect you more than before if you do so" Aman suggested.

"Mmm... thank you for your suggestion and also for your dinner. I am taking your leave" she stood wiping her hands.

Aman also stood in the mean of manners. Savitha left the place. Aman sat again.

"Is not she looking a good girl?" Khushi said.

Aman nodded yes.

"She doesn't seem to feel bad for her broken engagement," Khushi said.

"Who will feel bad for Breaking the engagement with a rogue?" Arnav asked.

"She didn't even talk a single word about Vikrant," NK said

"Yes, she looks relieved," Lavanya said.

"She is a feminist after all..." Aman said.

"She would have been broken down if she had got to know about Vikrant after the engagement had happened," Arnav said.

"She is also a woman after all," Khushi said.

"You are right Khushi... every girl has feelings and emotions," Lavanya said.

"It seems she feels happy being with our Aman..." NK said.

Aman was stuck for a while.

"Don't talk rubbish, man...! We helped her. So, she spoke with me in the mean of Thanksgiving

"Nannav also helped her... But she spoke with only you... Why so?"

"They are Boss after all..." Arnav smiled.

"Nothing is like that year... don't build up to something that does not exist, said.

All of them smiled at him.

Taking her mobile, Khushi captured a selfie-and kept it in her status. Arnav rolled his eyes.

"Is it necessary?"

"It is... Then only our parents will be satisfied"

"Then what will you do tomorrow?"

"I will think about it later"

Taking leave from everyone, Arnav and Khushi headed towards the Cloud nine apartment. Khushi smiled, seeing Garima's name in her status seen list.

They reached home. After having a formal talk with her parents and in-laws, Khushi came to her room. She got fresh and came out. Raizadas and Guptas were having dinner while watching daily soap. She too sat with them. Garima had cooked Khushi's favourite dishes.

"How was your dinner party?" Ratna asked.

"Great, Amma" taking a gobi Manchurian Khushi munched it.

"It's delicious..." she prized.

Arnav also came after taking bath.

"Eat something Chotte," Arvind said.

"No, dad. I'm full..."

Khushi was looking at Arnav nervously. She knew he wanted to PACK them all up to Delhi.

"There is a seminar in our office tomorrow..." Arnav said.

"Will you be late tomorrow also?" Arvind asked.

"Yes, Dad... The auditing is closing up. We will be busy in the upcoming days. If you want to visit Mumbai, I will arrange it because you will feel bored sitting at home"

They spared a glance.

"Don't you think Khushi needs rest at this stage?" Arvind asked.

"I will take care of her, dad. We will be in the same team. I won't let her do work. I will finish her work instead of her."

"I think we don't have to be here to help Khushi. Arnav himself will look after her." Shashi said.

"From the beginning, I am telling the same, uncle. You guys didn't understand that" Arnav said.

"Okay then... We are leaving tomorrow"

"Shall I arrange your tickets?" Arnav asked not showing his joy.

"No problem. we will arrange it" Arvind said.

"Let me know if needed" saying that Arnav went back to his room.

Khushi looked at them embarrassingly.

"Don't feel bad Khushi... We can understand" Shashi said.

"DamadJi wants to be with his wife. it's a good thing. There is nothing to be worried about. We will be relaxing because DamadJi will take care of you" Garima said.

"Han Khushi beta, we are happy as Chotte wants to be with you, this is what we want..." Arvind said.

"Thank you Babuji, thank you, papa..."

"We are leaving Mumbai only for you, Khushi. I won't go from here if you had not requested me. Don't be careless with your stupid husband. Tell him, we will be here anytime if he troubles you" Ratna warned.

Khushi nodded ok smilingly.

"Take care of yourself. Don't run to the doctor for everything. Call us anytime. Some issues can be sorted out with home remedy." Garima said.

"Sure Amma"

"Go Beta, your husband will get upset if you go late" Arvind laughed.

Khushi smile with mild blush and went to her room. As expected,

"Why are you late? What are you talking with them, leaving me here alone?" Arnav chided.

"They are leaving tomorrow... That's why I spoke to them formally. From tomorrow onwards, I will be with you only right?"

"Of course, we are meant to be together..."

"Ok... Stop arguing. I came... Let's sleep"

"When did I sleep without you?"

"Yeah, coming"

She lay down on the bed. In no time Arnav also laid.

"Thank God, they agreed to go back. I feel so relieved." Arnav gasped.

"Mmmm"

"See, how my plan worked...! How brilliantly I'm sending them to Delhi..." He kissed her cheek.

Khushi smiled inwardly. They were not ready to go back to Delhi. It was Khushi who spoke to Shashi and explained what Arnav wants. He made the others understand and they agree to go back because they didn't want Arnav to be upset at this stage which will affect Khushi for sure. As peace of mind was much needed for Khushi at this stage, they agreed to go back as per Khushi's request.

She felt relieved as she knew what makes Arnav happy. Being an understanding partner, how could she let him be sad?
