Part 64 Task

Arnav was thoughtful. He was recalling Khushi's stance again and again. He remembered Annapurna and her house condition. Could she have bad intentions? How could she even think of the man in the wrong way who she was calling BHAIYA? What would she gain doing this? Did she think she could trap him? Did she think he will betray Khushi for another woman? Her mother was a paralytically attacked. She was in the necessity of saving her mother. Then how could she even think of something that may ruin her reputation?

Arnav looked at Khushi was sleeping in his arms. Making Khushi protective and secure was his duty. She should not feel insecure about their relationship. He should not let her feel insecure. He got her in his life, in his room, after a long struggle. She is worth it... it should not go in vain.

The next day

Arnav entered the office with Khushi. He saw Purna looking at them from the corner of her eyes. Khushi also noticed that. She looked at Arnav and he smiled at her randomly didn't show her that he too noticed Purna. Arnav saw Akash coming from Aman's cabin with a hung face. Arnav understood the reason. Aman should have told him to be cautious with Purna.

Khushi saw Arnav waiting for her out of her cabin. she would go to Aman's cabin to sign the register. He didn't want her to go alone. In fact, he didn't want to leave her alone until the problem was sorted out.

Keeping the handbag, Khushi came out of her cabin.

"What happened, Arnavji?"

"you will go to Aman's cabin... I will also go... so, let's go..."

Khushi nodded yes and walked with him.

They went to Aman's cabin.

"Hi..." Aman smiled.

"Good morning, Aman," they said in the same tone.

"I have been waiting for Khushi," Aman said.

"Why, Aman?" Khushi asked.

"We have to finish our work today itself, Khushi. the file should be sent before 6 O'clock"

Khushi nodded yes and sat in front of Aman. Arnav gestured to Aman something through his eyes. Aman nodded ok and Arnav left his cabin. Purna saw him coming out of Aman's cabin. She bowed down without reacting. Arnav went to his cabin. Within a few minutes, Aman came to Arnav's cabin. Purna saw them through the glass door of Arnav's cabin.

"ASR, she is a little fishy..." Aman said not looking at Purna.

"Is it?" Arnav also maintained the same.

They talked as if they were talking about something unrelated to Purna.

"After Purna leaves the house, their house gets locked from inside"

"Her mother is at home. She is paralytically attacked"

"If she is paralytically attacked, how could she manage all alone?"

"She fell down from the wheelchair a few days ago. That day, I and Khushi dropped Purna home. That's when we got to know about their family condition"

"Oh... that's why you saved her from a rough and she thanked you hugging you?" Aman asked.

Arnav looked at him with shock.

"How did you know about it?"

"What was Khushi's reaction to that?"

"That's the incident that made Khushi think differently"

"Then how would she think? We should think about standing in her shoes, ASR. Could you accept it if any guy who calls Khushi as sister hugs her?"

"Honestly no... that's why I don't want to ignore her uncertainty. That's why I came to you for your help"

"I'm sorry, ASR... I should have told you before itself."

"About what?"

"You might have noticed a man following you..."

Arnav got alert.

"Would he look like a hulk?"

Aman nodded yes chuckling.

"I saw him in Delhi"

"Yeah... He is my man appointed to protect you and Khushi by me"

"Whaaaat? You? But why, Aman?"

"I guessed that Vikrant may cause trouble for you. So, I appointed Victor to protect you."

"do you know what he had done in Delhi? He did hit a fellow black and blue"

"Vishal, right?" Aman smiled.

"Was that really him?"

"Yes..."

"Damn... I didn't expect you would be behind that"

"I have assigned the same man for this job too... soon he will find who really Purna is"

"Thank you, Aman"

"You are welcome but be careful"

Arnav nodded yes.

"Until we sort out the issue, you and Khushi should be cautious"

"Do you think the girl could be dangerous to this extent?"

"Why should we take her lightly?" Aman asked.

Arnav nodded yes.

"I'm going... Khushi will suspect us..."

"Don't send her to her cabin. I don't want her to be near the woman"

"Don't worry... i will take care of her"

Arnav nodded ok. Aman went to his cabin. Arnav saw Akash watching Purna with an unnamed expression. He could not say neither Akash was angry nor was disappointed.

After the lunch break,

Aman came to Arnav's cabin.

"ASR..."

"Yes, Aman?"

"I got some information from Victor."

"What?"

"Purna came to the area only a month ago. It's not her native"

"Is it?"

"Yeah... she said this is her native when she joined the job. I think she is highly dangerous than we think. We have to find whether she is alone or someone behind this"

"But why does she target me?" Arnav gritted his teeth.

"That's what we have to find out. I asked Victor to watch them closely. Very soon, the truth will get revealed."

"I won't leave her if I get a proof" Arnav sneered.

"Of course, we won't leave her... but, we should wait until we get a right chance to catch her red-handed" Aman said.

"I wish it will happen soon"

"Yeah...."

Aman got back to his cabin. Purna came to Aman's cabin to ask him a doubt. Aman saw her advancing into his cabin through the glass door. He looked at Khushi who was sincerely writing the notes to create a file. He thought something and sat down on the pretext of searching for something in his table drawer. Khushi didn't notice him as she was writing the program structure that had to be sent that day itself.

Purna peeped in, slightly opening the door. She didn't find Aman in the cabin and Khushi was doing her work. She got in. Khushi looked at her, raising her head. Purna smiled at her normally. Without showing her disappointment, Khushi also smiled at her and again continued her work.

"Where is Aman Sir?" Purna asked Khushi.

"He was here only... don't know where did he go" Khushi said without taking her eyes from the file.

"Oh..."

That's when Purna got a call on her mobile. She attended it. she started talking in a feeble tone but we can't say it was inaudible to Khushi and Aman.

"Hi..."

"......."

"Fine... he is also fine," she said cheesy.

Khushi's hand stopped writing and her heart ran faster.

"............"

"Of course, we meet every day as we are working in the same office. Now also I saw him before coming to the CEO cabin"

"..........."

"So, what if he is a married man? He is capable to handle ten women"

Khushi clutched her suit nervously.

"........."

"No no... his wife didn't know about OUR relationship. He doesn't want her to know" she said in a feebler tone.

Of course, Khushi was looking at her shockingly but Purna didn't even look at her.

"........."

"Yes, it's hell torture to be without him... but very soon, he will be with me... wholly"

"......."

"I know how to make her run from his life"

".........."

"I'm going to send our intimate photos to his wife. Then without choice, she has to run... after she ran, he has to come to me..."

Khushi was gritting her teeth even though Purna didn't utter Arnav's name. She could not stand the evil talks as she thought standing in a WIFE's shoes. She wanted to slap Purna hard. But, to her surprise Aman stood up from behind the table with a shocking expression, looking at Purna, making Purna hell shocked who didn't expect Aman's presence in the cabin.
