Personality: Azazel is honestly just pure evil.  He's very manipulative and merciless.  He's very sarcastic and a bit of a rebel.  He does follow commands but he also likes to take things into his own hands.  He's very power hungry and a bit arrogant.  He doesn't care about humans in the slightest except for the fact that they're his food supply.  He's the type of guy that would gain your trust only to stab you in the back and not even feel the slightest bit of remorse for doing it.  He has probably the darkest mindset with absolutely no morals.  You could not persuade him to do anything just because you think it's wrong.  He does what he wants and is slowly waiting for the day when he can take the throne and rule over the vampires and humans.  Don't be fooled by his arrogance though, he is very clever and cunning.  He's intelligent from all the years he has been alive and knows how to get what he wants.  Though he is heartless and cruel, there is a sliver of good in him.  It never shows but if the right someone was to come along maybe they could change him.  Most die believing they can change him so be warned.

Power/Abilities: Standard vampire abilities and he's the best fighter of all the vampires, besides the queen herself.

Weapons: Usually uses his hands or a longsword and sometimes, when he gets bored, a gun.

Background: Azazel spent his whole life in the fortress and training.  He was taught at a young age, just like every other vampire, how to fight and kill.  He was also taught that humans were just livestock and he had no problem with that.  When the war started he was determined and at first his intentions were good.  He was fighting for a cause he believed in because he thought the vampires could only survive if they conquered.  Slowly, as he killed more and more human soldiers and captured some as well he basically lost his mind a bit.  The lines blurred between good and bad and he just decided to do what he wanted to do.  However this didn't stop him from climbing the ranks.  He is basically the second in command, the first being the queen. He's been her right hand for a while and they know each other pretty well, almost too well.  The queen knows Zaz could and probably will betrayed her but she also knows she would kill him before he ever got the chance.  Zaz isn't stupid so he knows not to mess with the queen until the time is right.  He's waiting for the perfect moment to strike.  The other problem he wants to take care of is Max.  He knows that if he let's him get any stronger he'll become a serious threat to his plans.  He wants to kill Max before anything else happens.  He's usually hanging around the queen or out "having fun" by hunting humans down and capturing them or torturing them.

Fears: Doesn't really have any....at all except maybe dying at one point but he doesn't really worry about it too much

Strengths: Killing, fighting, working alone, being manipulative, is a high ranking officer that is close to the queen, and is able to almost always get what he wants.

Weaknesses: Blood rose, he's a bit to full of himself sometimes, a bit too confident, has really no friends at all, and acts too power hungry around the queen which makes her suspicious of him.

Likes: Death and destruction, torturing others, seeing humans fear him, fighting, sometimes the queen, and the throne.

Dislikes: Sometimes the queen, Max, not getting what he wants, being told what to do and how to do it, losing battles, and humans getting away before he can do anything.

Other: Though the queen gives him specific orders he doesn't always listen.  She does punish him but she has never taken away his rank.  As crazy as it sounds she doesn't trust anyone else with the position at the moment.
