Nickname: Max and The Offspring of Death (The Queen's son is called this in vampire lore and in textbooks the kids study from while they are being trained and taught but they don't know it's him)

Age: 22 (He will stop aging around 25)

Sexuality: Straight

Appearance: Max has short and straight dark brown, almost black, hair and fairly tan skin, despite what most people think about when they think of vampires. He has naturally red eyes but because of his shapeshifting abilities he can change the color to a more human color. He usually appears with dark brown eyes but can change them to a lighter hazel at some points. He keeps his fangs retracted at all times except when he feeds obviously. He's 6'0" and has a muscular but slim build, basically an athletic build. The closest person that I can think of as a faceclaim would probably be Noah Centineo.

Personality: Max is a natural leader as his role states. He's very confident in himself and cares about others. He's really a goofball and likes messing around every once in a while but knows when to be serious. He's kind and understanding. He's usually the person you can talk to if something is wrong or you just need to vent. He'll listen and give advice on just about anything. He's an overall chill and great guy. When he's fighting with the group however it's like he's a completely different person. He's serious and doesn't like distractions. He is commanding but not rude when he tells the others what to do and he listens to suggestions. He's good at strategizing and keeping his group safe. He's extremely protective and will do basically anything to save his group/friends, even if it means giving up his life though that's a bit hard given he has an enhanced healing factor. As much of the extrovert that he is, he's very distant when it comes to his past. He doesn't mention anything specific. Allison knows the most but only vague things, like the fact that he said he ran away from home.

Powers/Abilities: He has all the abilities of a vampire which includes heightened senses, enhanced speed, an enhanced healing factor, and enhanced strength, but these powers are also even more enhanced than normal because he is the son of the queen. Along with that he is one of the rare vampires that are born every decade. He has the ability to shapeshift into basically any animal he wants but there is a catch. He can only spend an hour or two in that form before it starts physically hurting him. If he stays in the animal form too long he could lose control and the animal instincts would take over. Other than his powers he is trained in hand to hand combat which he is excellent at. He was trained by vampires picked by his mom, the Queen, and also people from the Black Star Company.

Weapons: He prefers a sword (typically some form of a katana because it's light but effective) and a hunting knife with a 4 inch blade as a secondary

Background: Max was born and raised in the biggest vampire fortress in the world. It's where the queen resides and it's where the most vampires are. He is in fact the son of Queen Amulet. He is her first and only child. He was taught at a young age to think of humans only as food, though he never understood why. He actually found a few human kids one day while he was wandering around and played with them and had fun. He saw them as the people they were and as he grew up he started having completely different views than any other vampire. He saw humans as who they were, not just food. He was trained in combat from a young age because the queen wanted to make sure he could protect himself and control the rare power he had. When he got into his teenage years he started going against his mother and protested a bit. He would refuse to drink any human blood at all and they'd have to end up forcing him to drink it. When he turned 18 he finally planned his escape from the place he called home. He knew it was a risky move but he wanted to join the Black Star Company to protect humans. He did end up escaping and was careful about the journey. He eventually made it to the BSC and explained who he was. Obviously they were hostile and defensive at first but after he gained their trust by saving one of their superior officers they let him in. Only the people in the highest ranks know what he is. Everyone else is oblivious and that's the way he wants to keep it. He's been fighting with the BSC ever since and has never double crossed them.

Fears: Losing control and hurting his friends, letting his group down, his feelings for Ally distracting him, and his group getting killed.

Strengths: He's very confident in his abilities, he's level headed when it comes to fights, his strong relationship with his group gives him determination in fights, he's one of the best fighters in the group, and

Weaknesses: His physical weakness which is natural blood rose, the metal they use to make the weapons, caring for his friends too much that it distracts him and risks all of their lives, the fact that he needs blood every week, and being a vampire surrounded by humans because of their views on them.

Likes: Fighting with the BSC and his group, exploring new areas that are safe and interesting, just hanging out with his friends, and killing vampires that think using humans is ok.

Dislikes: Most vampires, drinking human blood, getting anyone in his group hurt, letting anyone down, being too harsh on his group, losing control, and usually his mother.

Other: He does have feelings for Allison but he chooses to ignore them and never act on them. He doesn't want to hurt her because of what and who he is. The solo missions he sometimes goes on, which happen to be weekly, are when he goes out hunting, but the team has no idea where he goes. He chooses to drink animal blood over human blood which in turn makes him a bit weaker but to him it's completely worth it. If he doesn't get blood every week his cravings can become too much and he'll lose control. The only issue is that prey is starting to become more scarce as time goes on. It's a struggle to even find one deer.

According to vampire lore and the BSC, the Queen's child, Max, is supposed to be the most powerful vampire anyone has seen in centuries. Apparently he's supposed to be the one that helps the vampires finally claim victory. All students of the BSC are training to one day be able to defeat him and all of the vampires. The ironic part is that they're fighting alongside him.
