-Camp Half-Blood- Piper Third POV

A week had gone by since Tartarus' big speech and his children staying at a safe haven for demigods. The rest of the seven danced around the two guests like they were a disease. Piper, a daughter of Aphrodite, noticed the change. 

"Okay. Those are the bodies of Percy and Hazel. Hazel obviously changed after hearing what we did. But Percy's change is more drastic. I'm sure that if Annabeth hadn't abandoned him, maybe he'd be easier to change. What I'm saying is, Percy is heartless. Everything that has been done to him has taken the ability to love away except for Hazel." She said to Jason. Jason shook his head. 

"We did this, Piper. It wasn't just on Annabeth and Poseidon. It was on all of us. And I don't know if we can change either of them back. Percy didn't kill her. But you know Hazel, she looked up to him just like she did to Nico and look where it got her." 

They were sitting on top of the Zeus cabin. Something they'd done since they had first gotten to Camp Half-Blood. This time, they were watching Alpha and Omega sparring on the beach. Both of them had their helmets off. 

"We should go hear what they're saying." Piper whispered. The two of them snuck over to overhear the conversation. 

"Dude, come on. You're a better fighter than that. Don't start going soft just cause you saw the Mars kid." Alpha said. 

"No, I'm not going soft. You're just growing bitter after seeing the Athena girl." Alpha stopped cold and tensed up. 

"Perseus? I'm sorry I didn't-" Alpha held his hand up. 

"Don't. Just Don't. That girl, means absolutely nothing to me, and never will again. She's a selfish, prideful, arrogant Wise Girl." Alpha stopped talking after the last two words passed through his lips. 

"He's still in love with her. For him it's been years, but he's still in love with her." Jason nodded in agreement. It was painful to watch and hear what Alpha was saying. 

"Perseus." 

"No. She was supposed to have my back, she promised me that she did, and then the next thing I know she's sitting back, watching as they toss me away like garbage. I hate her. I hate her. I hate them!"
