Pain coursed through me as I layed in the ruins of a skyscraper. Why did I wander away from the team? Coughs wracked my beaten and bloody body. Leaning over I coughed out bright crimson. I knew I wasn't going to see tomorrow at all. Weakly I grabbed my flare gun and shot it into the sky. The bright red light shot high into the air as my arm fell limply to the ground. Slowly I closed my eyes.

-Third Person Pov-

Optimus was waiting for Ratchet to give him the clear on his arm, when a loud whistle and flash of red drew his and the gathered group's attention. They knew those flares all to well. Red whistlers as Cora called them, and she never used them unless it was an emergency.

"Autobots! Find the source of that red whistler." The Prime commanded. With nods the surviving cybertronians spread out. It wasn't ten minutes when he got a comm from Bumblebee.

.::I found mom!::.

Optimus ran to the Scout's location. All the other bots were there, all in their holoforms. Solemnly they looked at their leader. Worried Optimus activated his own holoform, his real body falling to the ground with a loud crash. He winced knowing he was going to be hurting even more. Quickly he made it to the barely recognizable human woman. Her pale skin was even paler, and her medium brown hair was scorched in places. Carefully he cradled her broken body in his arms.

"O-Opti...mus?" She asked, her eyes opening slowly.

"I'm here. All of us are." He cooed softly to her.

"Bum...bee. Where.... is.... Bum...bee?" She looked around with unfocused eyed.

"Right here Mom." The scout took her cold hand.

"My family... I'm s-sorry. M-my t-time is come. I failed to protect my family." Tears leaked from the corners of her eyes.

"We're okay." Optimus assured her.

"I lost... your... heir." She weakly began to cry. "I-I'm sorry."

"Mom was sparked?" Bee asked to no one in general.

"She was, with Optimus' sparkling." Ratchet sighed sadly.

"It's not your fault my love." Optimus placed a kiss on her forehead. Then her lips.

"Optimus, Bumblebee, I love..." she said when the life left her eyes, leaving her sentence unfinished.

"Cora? CORA!" Optimus gently slapped the young woman's cheeks. But she was cold to the touch. The Prime had never cried, not since Elita-1's death, but loosing his wife and unborn daughter broke him in that moment.

"Mom! Please come back!" Bee yelled as he began to cry.

"I'm sorry, but Cora is one with the AllSpark now." Ratchet said sadly as he checked her for any signs of life.

-Cora's Pov-

"Where am I?" I asked looking around at the black abyss full of shining orbs.

"In the Allspark Lil Lady." A familiar gangster like voice said behind me. Quickly I spun around. Red material billowing around me.

"Jazz?" I looked at the silver bot in shock.

"Don't forget about me." A gruff voice grunted coming out of the shadows.

"Ironhide!" I gasped.

"Yeah it's me kid. Now get over here, Primus has allowed us to give the team a farewell." Ironhide gestured me over, just as a pink and white female cybertronian stepped up next to Hide.

A bright flash enveloped our quartet and left us not far from the team. They looked at us in shock, Optimus one with the most. Looking down sadly I saw that I was in a crimson red dress with the outline of flames stitched in gold thread, also a guitar of the same colors was slung across my front. The clearing of a throat made me turn. Ironhide was on drums that matched his paint, Jazz has a silver bass guitar, and the femme had a pink acoustic guitar. She began to play a familiar tune. Turning back to the living team I saw a mic and stepped up to it. When the electric guitar part came up I played and began to sing.

"I love you too Cora." He replied as I began to slowly fade away during the kiss.
