*74 years ago*

I walk into the recruiting station. I was one of the tallest man there. I chuckled as I looked down at a 18 year old boy that was about 5 ft tall. I was 6.4 ft tall I was 19 years old. The smaller man looked up at me and smiled. Then he said "dreams do come true don't they James..." He had a grin on his face. "How did you know my name?" I asked. "Oh you don't remember me!? It's me Alex! Alex Rodriguez remember your best friend since 1st grade!? We haven't seen each other since 12th grade!" He said. "Alex? Wait the Alex? Like the Alex that punched his cheating girlfriend her ugly ass face?" That was funny to watch. "Yup thats me!" He said proudly and I laughed a little.

Then a general walked by and looked at me. "How old are you?" He asked me. "I am 19 years old." I responded. " Kinda tall for a 19 year old boy..." He responded. I am not a boy I am a man. "Yup I am 6.4 feet tall." I stated proudly. "Are you here to join the army?" He asked. "Yes sir!" I said with pride. "and you friend here, is he joining as well" He asked us. "I am joining the U.S. army sir." Alex said. "We both are" I added." Well then, welcome to hell." The general said then he walked away.
