The next day everyone was at the castle in the living room waiting for Barbatos to tell them how Satan was doing.

And eventually he came over and said.

Barbatos : he's going to be fine. But due to everything he's in a coma. He should wake up I just don't know when.

My guess is a few days to a few weeks"

Asmo : who keeps wanting to hurt Satan?"

Barbatos : we don't know. But we will find out"

Lucifer : where is Diavolo?"

Barbatos : he's in the dungeon talking with the demon who attacked Satan. To see if he can get any info out of him"

MC : how long has he been down there?"

Barbatos : awhile it can either be good or bad"

Meanwhile in the dungeon Diavolo was standing in front of a cell that the demon was lock in and was getting inpatient that they were revealing nothing.

Diavolo : ..... you need to start saying something. You are lucky I'm even being so kind to you"

Unknown Demon : No. Like I said I'm not giving up anything"

Diavolo : I'm the King. You will tell me who keeps wanting to hurt him!"

Unknown Demon : so he's still alive? Well he won't be for long. Others will still come after h-!?

Diavolo then reach in between the bars and grabbed the demon by the collar of his shirt and  yelled pulling him forward. Hitting his face against the bars so hard he started bleeding.

Diavolo : TELL ME WHO YOU ARE WORKING FOR! OR I SWEAR I'LL MAKE YOU SUFFER FOR HURTING SATAN!"

Unknown Man : heh....go right ahead....."

Diavolo then let go of the demon and they immediately drop to the floor passing out.

Diavolo then walked away angry. He wanted to find out who was trying to kill him.

He's been through so much already and no matter what he promised he would protect him and he wanted to stop failing at that.

1 month later

Satan suddenly woke up and quickly tried to sit up but regreted that and fell back from how much pain he was in.

Barbatos then walked over and said helping Satan sit without him hurting himself again.

Barbatos : it's quite a relief seeing you have woken up"

Satan : ..... how long was I out?"

Barbatos : about a month. Do you remember what happened?"

Satan : yeah.... anyone find out who's trying to kill me yet?"

Barbatos : not yet I'm afraid. But do not worry about that. All you need to do is rest"

Satan : I will.... also that demon who attacked me?"

Barbatos : there was an incident while Diavolo was questioning him.

Satan : killed him?"

Barbatos : yes. It was on accident emotions were high. Yet he's being very hard on himself about it.

Even though that demon's fate was most definitely going to be death or worse"

Satan : ......where is he?"

Barbatos : either in his room or lock in his office. He's been avoiding everyone since the incident besides doing his work and trying to figure out why and who wants to harm you.

Anyway since you are up I'll advise everyone that you are awake"

After this Barbatos left and Satan immediately tried getting up.

He wanted to talk to Diavolo about the situation. Knowing why he was most likely being hard on himself and more about why someone was trying to kill him wanting to know what he has found out if any.

Few minutes later as Diavolo was in his office working. Satan suddenly walked in almost falling and Diavolo immediately walked over and helped Satan sit down on a chair.

Diavolo: what are you doing trying to walk? You should be resting"

Satan : heard you killed the Demon"

Diavolo : ....."

Satan : why you do it?"

Diavolo : .....he wouldn't give up anything. He knew something but wouldn't..... and I was angry.......that he nearly killed you and that I let it happen....."

Satan : ...... you have been angry Especially with me. Not surprising you snap"

Diavolo : ....I....I just want to prevent more harm coming to you....I said I would...."

Satan : honestly being potentially killed still isn't as bad as being here"

Diavolo : Sata-

Satan : so what's your idea in why I'm being hunted?"

Diavolo: ....because your Queen of Devildom naturally it's just something that happens. But this is happening from one person who is sending demons after you instead of coming themselves...."

Satan: most likely doesn't want to be seen because they will be recognized. So somebody well known.

And at first they wanted to kidnap me and take me to them. Then attempt to kill me.

But I think they were trying to take me again but I fought back which resulting in what happened.

Whoever wants me. Wants me alive for whatever reason "

Diavolo : it could be anyone..... I've been looking but I haven't found anything...."

Satan : is that all you have been doing?"

Diavolo : yes....I figured that's all I could do.....I would also check on you and Lucifer"

Satan : why does he come over?"

Diavolo : he's been coming over every day checking on you. He's been really worried"

Satan : ....if he cared he wouldn't have done this. This is all both of your fault anyway"

Diavolo : I kn-

Barbatos then walked in and said looking at Satan.

Barbatos : Satan you should be resting?"

Satan : I wanted to ask him something. But I'm done now"

Barbatos: ok well later everyone will be here to visit you"

Satan : good I guess"
