Continuing from previous part:-

Ragini is in this new room where she'll be sleeping rest of her life now . From childhood she's been taught that once her husband return all her miseries will be over she'll get respect and good life ahead but now all those dreams are shattered. She is thinking all of this when Meena knock on slightly ajar room door to check if she's still up and upon seeing her she enter in room ragini sat on bed seeing her put palu on her head sure things are messed up but still she is her mother-in-law .

Just like Ragini Meena too lost hope in her upbringing she never in her wildest dream thought that her son would done this to ragini the girl she saved from her husband . Shame filled her heart thinking what this poor girl gone through while she was with those creeps she's not able to made eye contact with her due to shame but she can't leave her on her own so she clear her throat and ask for her forgiveness 'umm ragini i know this isn't going to change anything but still i want to apologise for everything my family ruined your life and unknowingly I'll too was part of it so I'm sorry'  she say by joining her hands in front of ragini.

Ragini look at her and felt embarrassed by her actions she with trembling hands held meena's hands saying 'please don't join hands before me saasu maa you are at no fault in all of this . Years ago you saved my life my dignity by going against your own husband I'm grateful to but it's true whatever happened one cannot change and feeling guilty on it won't help either it only make me feel more ashamed of myself that because of me a woman who saved me and is on my mother's place kept on asking for my forgiveness like this and I don't want this' .

'But what sanskar done—' Meena tried to tell but ragini stopped her saying 'whatever happened in past two days was nothing compare to what might've happened to me in village people there were after my life but he saved me by the public humiliation there if i was still in village those people destroyed my life so if i see this way ji(referring sanskar) saved my dignity and life it's harsh to accept but my life in village was more tough I'm somewhere thankful to be here' .

Tears rolled down from meena's eyes hearing this and she immediately hugged ragini as she knows how society treats a abuse victim she promise her that she'll always stay in this house as her daughter who she can't have in past because of the fear of her disgusting husband but now she'll protect her at every step of life .

Ragini hug her back but deep down in her heart she kept on thinking about sanskar and his love for someone else will he able to give her the respect she dreamed of getting from her husband!!

Next day:-

Sanskar reached his office as he took uninformed leaves his boss questioning him about the same he told him that he have to leave out of city for an family emergency and return to his work his mind filled with the moments he spend with Siya but he has to be true with the promise he made to ragini.

He working on his computer when his cabinet door opens and Siya come in with smile on her face upon seeing him . She hug him asking 'god sanskar how many times i called you but you didn't answer any of my calls first i got scared that something happened to you but after receiving your text i got relieved so how was your trip ?'

Sanskar didn't hug her back and she part away from him but seeing his serious face her smile dropped as confusion clouded her mind making some distance between himself and her sanskar finally tell her the truth 'Siya I'm so sorry but we cannot be together anymore' .

'Huh ?' was the only word left from her mouth as she is not sure if she heard him right!

Taking a deep breath sanskar say 'we cannot be together because now I'm married and i cannot destroy your and my wife's life by hiding this from you' .

Siya's face become pale hearing it as tears filled in her eyes the time they spent together their plans their love was all a lie how can he do this with her anger raise in her with betrayal and she confront him 'what how can you do this me ? If you want to marry another girl why you do love drama with me and that girl did she know about us answer me damn it' .

Sanskar nods and siya couldn't believe this she about to go out of his cabin but stop and ask him 'wait so you were married before our relationship started?'

'No' was all sanskar utter .

'I need an explanation don't you think i at least deserve truth' siya say and no matter how hard it is but she wants to know everything even if this ends here .

Sanskar start telling her the truth of his and Ragini's life 'my father attempted r*pe on a seven year old girl when i was ten that time we used to live in village but my mother saved the girl on time and as punishment from panchayat i got married to ragini . We both were children and because of our financial problems my mother came to city with me giving promise to ragini's parents that when she'll be of age we take her to city as my wife some days back my mother told me all this so to dismiss this child-marriage i go to village but there situations or better say destiny tied both of us in marriage first i became selfish and try to leave her but my stupidity caused her more pain which i cannot repent my whole life and then I realised i can't led a life full of guilt by running away from my responsibilities towards ragini and cannot give you false hopes of future . The time we spent together was one of best times of my life but we don't have a future together Siya you deserve much more better person than me I know you won't forgive me but all i can wish is good luck for you as a friend and co-worker'.

Siya took a deep breath listening to him and without saying anything she left .

Sure there is pain in sanskar's heart but a satisfaction is also there that at least he'll be able to fulfill his promise to ragini and to himself..

Sanskar come back from office in evening and saw Ragini placing food on table she stops and hurriedly put saree palu on her head upon seeing him standing straight looking down as if she is a student who saw a strict teacher . He understand her behaviour as she has been taught to respect her husband like a god from childhood and those taunts from villagers must have left a fear in her so he walk towards the table clearing his throat try to clear the awkwardness as well he say 'Ragini you...you don't have to look down when I'm around wives can talk to their husbands directly by looking at themselves like your maa used to do with your baapu it'll be more convenient like that' .

She nods but didn't look up at him so he sit and ask her about her health and about his mother 'saasu maa is in kitchen ji should prepare your plate !'

'No I'll do it myself and you can call me by my name ragini' he say

To which she say 'it's not good to call husband by name no one does it in village ji' .

'But we are not in village now' sanskar reasoned

but seeing her discomfort he let it go and say 'okay you can call me ji if you like but at least have food on table with us not after me please'.

He said it with a small smile and ragini nods to it though she had her doubts regarding his behaviour but maybe he is not as bad as she thought in past two days.

Soon meena join them and they all have dinner after it ragini go to sanskar's room and find him setting up his bed on sofa upon seeing her he say with a small smile 'actually i want to sleep on sofa so i made my bed here you sleep on bed and i put extra blanket on it if you need' .

'Ji how can i sleep on bed when you sleeping on sofa ! I sleep on sofa I'm not used to sleep on bed in village we have khaat(cot) there' ragini says .

'Umm but i feel uncomfortable if you sleep on sofa i mean all this is new for you the least I can do for you is to make you feel comfortable' sanskar say and think how foolish he is to not bring a cot for her she is not used to this he again hassle her .

Ragini sat on sofa and assure him 'that's why I'm taking sofa spot as it feel like I'm sleeping on cot you sleep on bed ji you have to go office tomorrow right' .

Sanskar agree and both lay on their respective spots to sleep but sleep is far away from them . One side sanskar thinking about all the things happened till now and how he tell ragini to continue her studies and on other side ragini thinking about his behaviour city's lifestyle and the girl he told he is in love with did he tell her about what happened? Is she coming in their married life ?

Next day at office:-

Sanskar reach his office building and in stairway siya stop him .

He thought she wants to insult him for what he did to her but what she say shocked him 'Sanskar i want to meet your wife you can take me to her'
....

I just wrote everything in english only as writing lines both hindi and english takes times so hope all of you be okay with it 🙂
