25. A sin

"Oh my god! They heard us!" The pilot cheers.

Logan quickly grips onto the radio. "Hello?! Can you hear me?!"

"Yes." The man assures.

"This is Logan Gordon, I'm a detective from the United States. I'm on a chase for a ship heading to your country." Logan tries to speak as clearly as possible, waiting for a reply.

"What's.....in the ship?" The radio begins to grow static.

"The ship contains more than 120 women on board, some U.S citizens, others immigrants. They are victims of human trafficking."

"How can we help you?" There were faint voices in the background.

"I need your men to be on the docks. I'll give you their exact coordinates." Logan pats the pilot on the shoulder. "Give me the coordinates." He whispers.

The pilot nods, handing a paper to him.

Philip remains in his room, listening to their conversation as he lays on the wall. He pulls out his cellphone beginning to dial Jordan's number.

The line begins to ring, but there is no answer. "Pick up the phone, you fucking degenerate!" Philip tries his best to whisper his words.

Sam stares into Jordan's eyes. "I-I.... can't. I can't do it." She shakes her head continuously.

"Then it's settled." Jordan places his warm hands on the sides of her cheeks. Sam slowly grips onto his hands as she watches him get closer.

Jordan lightly pushes her on top of the heavy warehouse boxes, kissing her gently as possible.

Sam gives in, letting out a moan. She places her arms around his neck, returning every kiss.

Jordan pulls back, removing his shirt. Sam only gazes at his muscular body. He grips onto her shirt, beginning to pull it up.

Sam pushes his hands away in fright. "No, no!" She whispers in a whimper. Jordan pulls back, staring at her. "I'm....sorry." He widens his eyes.

Sam heavily sighs. "I'll do it..." She begins to pull off her own shirt and pants.

Jordan does the same, until they're both completely naked. They only gazed at each other and their bodies.

"I'm....I'm..." Sam begins to stutter.

"We don't have to do this." Jordan reminds her.

"I know...but I want to do this, for the first time in a long time, I want to do this." Sam exhales, slowly pulling him back on top of her. "Just- just be gentle..."

Jordan nods, beginning to caress her, slowly making his way down to the bottom. "Tell me when to stop." He whispers.

Sam nods, watching him begin to gently penetrate her. She lets out a low groan, beginning to loosen her tight thighs.

"No....no... Don't do this! Please!" I'm awoken by my own screams. Another nightmare, again. My brother still haunts me in my sleep.

I heavily sigh, placing my hands over my face, wiping away my tears.

I look around the room, realizing that I was alone. It was odd to me, Sam was always here. I wonder where she could have gone.

"Sam?" I loudly say, but there was no answer.

I force myself to sit up, feeling the urge to urinate. "Sam?" I loudly say again, hoping she would come and help me use the bathroom.

It was no use. I was completely alone, unattended. I grip onto the railing of the bed, beginning to push myself off of it.

My bare feet touch the cold floor, making me wiggle my toes from the chills. I use the edge of my bed for support as I make my way to the other side.

I use the walls to help me get by. Slowly, I make it inside the bathroom. I could feel my knees begin to weaken.

I lose balance, landing on the toilet seat. A shot of pain travels through my abdomen to my rib cage.

Whimpers escape my lips, trying to hold in the pain. I pull down my underwear, beginning to release.

There were muffles coming from the abandoned room. They had gotten louder, accompanied by continuous banging.

It was about time they found him, he was sweating, panting from the screams and movement.

"B-boss?!" Two men stare down at him in shock. They quickly untie him, ripping the tape off his mouth. "Are you okay?!"

"Sound the alarm!" The boss shouts. "There's three people trying to escape!" He pants, trying to get up in a fuss.

The two workers nod, running towards the alarm. Ten minutes pass and the alarm begins to ring. Red lights flash through the whole ship making every worker halt.

Sam and Jordan lay next to each other in there own paradise, until they hear the alarm go off. "What's that?!" Sam widens her eyes, sitting up.

"It's the alarm." Jordan quickly gets dressed, trying to keep himself calm. "Hurry, get dressed. They've found my father."

Sam does as she's told, walking towards the door. "W-what do we do?" She stares at him as he exhales.

"Go get Ariel, call Logan." Jordan places his phone on her hand. He places a kiss on her forehead and smiles. "Don't worry."

"But what about you?!" Sam grips onto his hips.

"I have to get something. I'll be right behind you, okay?" Jordan awaits for her approval.

Sam nods, placing a kiss on his lips. "Stay safe." She whispers.

"Keep yourself hidden." Jordan opens the door as they both run out, going their separate ways. The halls were empty, the workers must've gone somewhere.

I hold onto the bathroom wall, feeling my heart fastened. I could hear the loud, bothersome alarm from inside the room.

There was a sudden bust through the door. "Ariel?!" Sam shouts.

"Sam!" I cry, trying to walk faster towards the bathroom door, once I do I fall to the floor, knees first.

Sam runs to my rescue by the sound of my voice. "Ariel, are you alright?" She crouches down, helping me up.

"What's going?" I stare up at her, gritting my teeth in pain.

"Jordan said the workers found your father..." Sam pulls out the phone, beginning to dial.

Sam and I slowly walk back to the bed as I sit down, watching Sam lock the door.

"Where's Jordan?" I question in a panicky tone.

"He'll be here." Sam paces around the room, waiting for Logan to pick up.

The line finally goes through. "Hello?!" Sam could hear the happiness in his tone.

"Logan! You- you need to come! We don't have much time! Ariel's father, they've found him. They sounded the alarm, we're good as dead!"

"Don't worry, I've contacted the IPS. They'll send men to your coordinates when you land. I'm still two days far away from you guys, just stay hidden!" Logan's tone begins to sound worried. "Shit." He curses under his breathe.

"I'm really scared." Sam quivers. "What if they find us?!"

"Just stay hidden!" Logan shouts. "I need to go. I need to get ready."

"Okay, please hurry." She whispers, looking back at me.

Jordan runs into his room, searching for something. "Where is it?! Where is it?!" He shouts to himself. He opens his drawers, throwing out his clothes to the carpeted floor.

In the last drawer there was a journal. Jordan hurriedly picks it up, running into the hallway.

He could hear his father and his workers speaking amongst themselves in his office. "My son has betrayed me! I want him dead or alive, the same with my daughter!"

Jordan runs as fast as he can towards Ariel's room. He tries to open the door, but it's locked from the inside. "Open up!" He whispers, looking around the hallway.

Sam opens the door, letting him in.

"For a second, I thought you betrayed us." I give him a cold stare.

"Yeah, well think again." He pants. "It's bad, dad wants us dead."

"We have to get to the hull it's our best chance." I stare at them.

"How far is he?" Jordan looks at Sam, she gulps staring at the floor. "Two days away."

"What?!" Jordan and I widen our eyes. "What are we going to do?!" I stare at them.

"They're going to check every room in here. You're right, we have to go to the hull, it's where all the cargo is." Jordan walks towards me. "I'll have to carry you, they're coming."

I nod, feeling him lift me up from the bed. He settles me like an infant in his arms. Sam opens the door, hearing the men stomp their way inside empty rooms.

"Come on." Jordan signals Sam towards the other side of the hall, making their way towards the staircase.

After four flights of stairs, they finally make it to the hull of the ship. It was full of large crates of various colors. Jordan places me on my feet as Sam holds me.

He picks out a blue crate on the middle row. Jordan unlocks it, opening it enough to get us in. Get in." He demands. Sam and I enter the dark crate filled with small boxes inside.

Jordan begins to close the heavy door. "Wait, what are you doing?!" Sam shouts, running towards him.

"I have to lock the door from the outside. I can't go with you." He begins to shut the door.

"No, where will you go?!" Sam grips onto his sleeve.

"I'll figure out something. Don't worry about me." Jordan smiles, pushing her arm inside.

"No, Jordan!" Sam shouts. "Don't!"

Jordan locks the door, hearing Sam beginning to cry from a distance.
