She Doesn't Have to Know

It's been over a month since I updated this OOPS

~Sam Golbach's POV~

"You need anything else?" Colby asks me, and I just shake my head.

"I told you, I'm fine, Colby. I just broke my back, it's not the end of the world," I huff.

"No, but it restricts you from doing a lot of things," Colby points out. See, I did something stupid for a less than a minute video. What did I do, you might ask? I jumped off my balcony, trying to land on my back on a beanbag. Of course, I landed on the least cushioned part, so instead of it being a comfortable drop, it was just pain.

But hey, I'm alive, so that's a plus. "I can take care of myself, Colby. Only difference is now I can make a bunch of back jokes," I can't help but grin. I then grab Colby's hand, tugging him down to sit beside me on the couch.

He obeys, and I smile. "Can we have a movie night?" I request, and he nods. "Just the two of us, though. Jake and Corey can go have their own."

He smiles, ruffling my hair. "Of course, Sammy."

"Then can you make us popcorn and I'll choose the movie?" I ask, smiling at him. He nods, getting up.

"Be back in a minute," he hums, walking off towards the kitchen. I grab my laptop, since it was on the table next to me, just scrolling through Netflix to try to find a movie.

Eventually, I find one, clicking on it and having it ready to start once Colby brings the popcorn. He didn't take long to come back, a big bowl full of popcorn.

"Colbyyyyy, hurryyy," I whine, making grabby hands towards him. He just huffs, sitting down next to me and putting the bowl of popcorn between us.

We then just cuddle on the couch for a couple of hours, though careful not to hurt my back any more than it already is.

"Hey, Colbs?" I ask, looking up at him about halfway through the movie. He pauses it, then turning to me.

"Yeah? What's up?"

I hesitate, but finally force myself to say something I haven't said yet, even though it's been on my mind for a while now. "I... I love you, Colby."

He bites his lip. "What about Katrina?"

Sure, she's my girlfriend, but Colby is Colby. Nobody can compare to him. Finally, I settle on a response. "She doesn't have to know."

He just smiles with that, seeming satisfied with my response. Leaning forward, our lips meet. My arms wrap around his neck, gently tugging at his hair and only gaining a groan in response. His hands are resting gently, yet firmly, on my hips. After a moment or so, we pull back, and he just grins. "We should have movie nights more often," he hums.

"Kat doesn't have to know about them," I agree, cuddling back into his chest.
