It Started With Coffee (Part Two)
~Sam Golbach's POV~
I walk off from the handsome barista, humming softly. I take a sip of the coffee, noticing something a bit off though. Instead of my name, Sam, written on the name line, it says "You're handsome"
I blush faintly, glancing back at the Starbucks I was just at. Well, now you got your plans for tomorrow, Sam, I think, planning on going back to meet him again.
I continue to drink the cold brew, smiling softly as I walk home.
Once I get home, I look up "Colby" on Instagram, planning on trying to discreetly find out a bit more information on him before I go back there tomorrow.
"Colby Brock" is the first profile that pops up, the icon looking a lot like the barista. Clicking on it, I scroll through his posts. He honestly seems like a really nice guy, from the pictures, and they make him look even hotter than what I've seen. I blush, closing the app. Do I like Colby Brock?

I head back to the Starbucks I went to yesterday, silently hoping that he's still working today. As I walk in, I find him standing at the counter, smiling when he sees me. Swaying my hips slightly as I walk, I find myself at the front of the line, face to face with him.
"Morning, Sam," he smiles softly, clearly remembering my name.
"You too, Colby," I see him grin a bit, making a very faint blush appear.
"What kind of coffee would you like to get today?" he brings the conversation back to the coffee, noticing two people walk into the café.
"Well... I more of just wanted to talk to you," I say sheepishly, earning a bit more of a grin from him.
"I'll be on a break in fifteen minutes, we can talk then?" he asks, and I nod. "Alright, meet me behind the building at that time."
I nod, turning away and then sitting down at one of the tables, imagining out how the conversation will be.
"Hey Sam, I know we just met, but I wanted you to know that you're really attractive, and I want some things to happen between us" or "Hey Colby, why'd you tell me that I'm handsome?" I'd ask as he steps closer.
"Because you are, and you deserve to know that," he'd whisper, stepping closer to me, our faces centimeters away.
I find myself blushing, unable to understand how the hell I'm so head over heels for a guy I met yesterday.
Eventually, fifteen minutes roll on by. I get up, heading out the door and towards my exploration to find behind the coffee shop.
After a minute or two, I find it. "Ah, you came," Colby grins at me, his hair such a mess from the wind. Well, such a mess, but hot as hell.
"Yeah, sorry about that. You didn't exactly give me directions, and I ended up going to the wrong side and running into a brick wall," I say, looking away in embarrassment. He chuckles, walking over a bit closer to me.
"So, what did you want to talk about?" he asks softly, and I find myself blushing again.
"W-Well, I wanted to know why you wrote 'You're handsome' on my cup at the name line on my coffee yesterday," I say, fiddling with my shirt nervously. He backs me up against the wall, my blush worsening.
"Well, simply because of the fact that you are," he says, running his fingers through his hair.
I feel myself blush harder, falling even harder for the boy in front of me. "Hey, Sam?" he asks softly, and I feel myself unable to speak.
"Y-Yeah?" I eventually stutter out, making him smile.
"May I kiss you?" he leans closer, our faces now inches apart. I just simply nod, completely at a loss of words while looking up into his dreamy blue eyes. Our lips meet, time seeming to stop completely. I wrap my arms around his neck, his arms snaking around my waist. The kiss is slow, yet needy.
No matter how long that lasted, I want more. I want more of the taste of his lips. I want more of the feeling; I want more of him. My body presses against his needily, and he hoists me up on his hands. My legs instinctively wrapped around his waist, and he uses the wall to stabilize himself.
We break the kiss, lust lingering in the air silently as we both pant for breath. "I can't explain it, Sam," he says softly to me, breaking the silence. "I just, from the moment I saw you, I knew you were the one. I knew that you're the person I've been looking for all my life."
My heart melts from his words, and I smile up at him. "I-I had that same feeling... I-I haven't been able to think of anything but you since I left yesterday, and I'm definitely not going to forget you now," he hums, pulling his phone from his back pocket. He finally puts me down, and I can't help but feel weak in the knees.
"May I have your number then, Sam?" he asks, and I nod. He hands me the phone, so I dial my phone number in. "I'll text you in a few so you can get mine." Nodding, we part ways so he can go back to his shift.
In the future, we find ourselves dating and becoming the best of friends. Colby is nobody I would've ever expected to meet in my life, yet he's mine and mine only.
I just know that I'll always remember: it all started with coffee.
