"Nico di Angelo, do you accept my offer to duel?" Jason Grace asked.

"Sure thing, Sparky." I looked over at Will. "Are you going to watch me, Sunshine?" I said with a smirk. He stood there baffled and I chuckled at his stammering.

"Nico, I'm waiting for you to join me." I rolled my eyes.

"Coming, Grace." I said walking onto the mat.

STILL NICO'S POV

We walked into the locker room and Jason turned towards me.

"I totally won. You cheated."

"Using my demigod weapon is not cheating if you can use wind to blow me off course, Jason Grace."

"Whatever." He said rolling his eyes. At that moment, Will walked up to me.

"Hey, Nico can we talk?" He asked shyly.

"Sure, what about?"

"Ummm, ImayhavefeelingsforyouandIdon'tknowhowtotellyousonowI'mspeekingreallyfastandI'msupernervous."

"What was that? I couldn't catch the last part. Or the first part. Or any part in between." I said.

His voice dropped to a whisper. "I like you Nico. I understand if you don't have feelings for me, I mean come on, you're probably not even gay. But either way, I still like you." I stood there speechless. He was a mortal. This could never work out. I can't text him, demigods can't have phones. I would attract to many monsters. Especially with my aura, being a child of Hades. This could NOT work. I'll just have to tell him the truth.

"Will, the truth is, I like you to." He doesn't need to know the whole truth. "But it couldn't work."

"Why not?"

"Well, first off, I'm leaving during the summer and going to California. Second, we can't call, because it's too dangerous."

"Well, you see, I'll probably get attacked by random monsters and crap" I smiled and laughed.

"Oh, ha. You're kidding." He said and laughed. It sounded forced.
