What to Write 2

Dedicated to lexter2003
If you don't remember the first part, because it's been a really long time (sorry), go read that  again!

Curling into Joseph's chest, I sighed, nudging my head closer into his shoulder. We were curled up on the bed, taking a break, having finished the outline for the paper.

"Thank you." I whispered, yet again.

Joseph chuckled, kissing my forehead. "You're welcome. But you're no where close to done."

I sighed, nodding, pulling away to crawl up the bed and slide under the covers. It was cold, even with the heat on in our apartment. Joseph laughed as pulled the blankets over me, and I shivered at the cold mattress under me. Joseph slid in beside me, and I wiggled closer because, as usual, he was a living space heater.

His arm slid around my waist, and I pressed my toes to him, receiving a yelp as he yanked his legs away, growling. I giggled, and he wearily allowed me to snuggled deeper into him. I ran my hand through the shaggy black hair on the top of his head, unable to run them through the sides, on account of them being buzz-cutted. His arm tightened around my waist, pulling me closer and I sighed, breathing in the comforting smell of his cologne. We didn't talk, we didn't have to. I closed my eyes, letting myself drift off.

"Hey, Damian. C'mon. We have to finish your paper."

I whined, swatting at the person straddling me, not opening my eyes.

"Fine, you leave me no choice."

I shrieked, twisting underneath Joseph, trying to get away from his hands. But he used his weight to keep me where I was, tickling my sides.

"OK! OK!" I surrendered, breathing heavily. "You win."

"Yes! Joe-Joe the champion once again!" I watched as he did a victory dance around the bedroom, and when we made eye contact, we burst into laughter.

"Ugh!" I screamed, twisting out of Joseph's grasp, running out of the bedroom. Joseph caught up easily, in our two person flat.

"You're not finished!" He said, wrapping his arms around my waist, resting his chin on my shoulder.

"It's so frustrating!" I whimper, fighting tears of frustration. "How do you do it! Write paper's so much!" He was taking journalism, and wrote papers pretty much every other day.

"Because I like to."

"I like writing! Just, not papers." I added quietly, and Joseph chuckled.

"Come*," He lead me back to our room, and stood behind me as I sat in the chair. He leaned over me, making me feel protected, as he helped me with sentences to keep the paper flowing, and put evidence within the paragraph.

"OK! All done with your first draft."

I twisted in his lap, shrieking, "First draft!?"

Joseph laughed, pulling me into a quick kiss. "Yeah, first draft. We'll edit this one. When's it due anyway?"

"Yesterday." I snapped, and at Joseph's doubting look, I pouted. "Fine. Next Monday."

Joseph laughed again. "You have a week, Love. It's Thursday."

"That's not a week."

"Whatever. You know what I mean."

I just nodded. "Thanks for your help."

Joseph hugged me tighter, before picking me up bridal style, and ignoring my shriek of objection, dumped me on our bed.
