Bad Boys

Nico's lips brushed the mic in front of him, on the stage at a bar, where his gig was. He gripped the black metal stand as if his life depended on it, his eyes half closed. The words poured out of him, as he stepped away from the mic, letting the mic on his face take over, allowing him to move.

And move he did.

"Your daddy always said you should stay away from
A fool like me, a fool like me
And when your momma sees me callin' on your telephone
The bitch hangs up on me
Huh!?
Remember when I blew your mailbox up,"

Nico kept his knees together, shifting his heels until he was kneeling in front of a random guy in the crowd, his tight black ripped skinny jeans stretching.
"I was just kidding about that." He dragged his finger up the guy's throat, standing as he pulled his pointer finger off the edge of the man's jaw.

"I'm sorry that I hit your dog with my bike
But he's still got three legs he's gonna be just fine
And baby, baby I ain't too sure that
I know how to change anymore
But,
This I know for sure,
I just got eyes for you,
Even though your friends say;"

Nico stopped singing, letting his female background singers take over.
"'Oh my god, how can she be with him, oh my god leave his ass!' "

Nico pulled the bass guitar - which up until now, had been hanging on his back - in front of him, his long slender fingers immediately finding the right fret. He remained in front of the mic for the rest of the song, moving in an intoxicating way.

"Your daddy always said you should stay away from
A fool like me, a fool like me
And when your momma sees me callin' on your telephone, she hangs up on me
That bitch hangs up on me
Yeah I know,
That I'm a grown ass man
Who still acts like an idiot,
But Lord he must have been in a good mood the day,
He let a girl like you,
Choose to take a fool like me".

A flash of gold caught his attention, and he looked towards the back of a bar, where a blonde was sitting, with his head in his hands. As the band set up for the next song, Nico struggled to focus, his interest piqued by the only person not paying attention to him.

Nico moved to the front of the stage again, standing in front of the mic and taking a deep breath. He dropped his head, letting a small smirk appear, and when the he began to sing, he looked up slightly, looking at the crowd from under his long lashed, his fringe in his face, curling under the hot lights as sweat began to run down the sides of his face, the band on the last song of the night.

"I was just a kid working for the man for the first time,
Said listen kid you better heed my advice
Treat 'em like dirt
They stick forever to the bottom of your shoe ooh.
I said Mr. Man that ain't nice
You gotta treat a girl right,
Take her out wine and dine her
Always be polite
Kid, all good, just do you
But soon you'll see she don't want no goody two shoes."

Nico was quiet as his background singers sang.
"Boy just a goody two Ah
Goody two shoes,
Just a goody two, ah
Two shoes!"

Nico moved away from the mic as he sang again, swinging the bass back in front of him as he played. His black tank managed to hide the sweat, but the black skinny jeans were getting uncomfortable. Nico walked closer to the stage's edge, reveling in the large crowd. But his eyes continued to stray to the blonde.
"You got style, you got grace
Kid you try so hard she just laughs in your face
You're a nice guy with the wrong attitude,
She want (bad boys bad boys all we want is bad boys)
I treat her dirt she loves me good (so good)
And I just hate to have to tell you
Cause you're a nice guy but that just won't do
She want (bad boys bad boys all we want is bad boys)

Listen kid you hear them sirens coming for me?
But when I get downtown she will already be
Posting bail in her favorite dress,
Smiling at me, because I'm no good (no good)!
You can buy her everything she likes, and I'm sure she'll be alright
But just you feel it, cause baby even spend the night
Kid are good but just know that she'll be thinking of me,
Even when she's with you."

Nico stayed quiet,
"Boy just a goody two ah,
Goody two shoes
Just a goody two ah,
Two shoes"

"You got style, you got grace
Kid you try so hard she just laughs in your face
You're a nice guy with the wrong attitude
She want (bad boys bad boys all we want is bad boys)
I treat her dirt she loves me good (so good)
And I just hate to have to tell you
Cause you're a nice guy but that just won't do
She want (bad boys bad boys all we want is bad boys)"

Nico took the bass off of him jumping down off the stage, letting people dance with him as he went, though his eyes were mostly focused on the blonde, who would glance away with a blush every time he saw Nico looking at him.
All Nico knew was that the boy was blonde, had blue eyes, and was hot.

"Whoo alright now,
Singles ladies (yeah)
I'm gonna need your help now
(tell us whatcha want us to do now)
(tell us whatcha want us to do now)
I need help your girls
(you're a bad boy)
I say I need help now (help now)
So bad (so bad)
So good (so good)
So bad (bad)
Good (good)"
Nico pushed through the crowd, making his way to the back.
"God damn you got style you got grace
Kid you try so hard she just laughs in your face
You're a nice guy with the wrong attitude
She want (bad boys bad boys all we want is bad boys)
I treat her dirt she loves me good(so good)"

Nico reached the blonde, slinging an arm around his waist, and the boy jerked, looking over. Nico continued singing, but his heart jolted as he saw the brilliant blue eyes looking at him.
"And I just hate to have to tell you
Cause you're a nice guy but that just won't do
She want (bad boys, bad boys, all we want is bad boys)"

Nico made his way back to the stage, clambering on as he finished the song, which was also the last set of the night.
"Boy just a goody two
Goody two shoes
Just a goody two
Two shoes".

Nico finished packing up, and could only hope the blonde he had his eyes on was still there. Luckily, he was. Nico made his way over, putting on a fake smile as he was complimented. He felt drained. Once the adrenaline from being watched was gone, he always felt hollow. Dancing, playing the bass, and singing at once always took a lot out of him, but he loved the rush.

Nico would have loved to collapse, but he stood taller, and sauntered the rest of the way to the bar. He slid into the stool next to the blonde, elbows on the dark wood, fingers laced.

"What'll it be?"
Nico looked up, to see a cute brunette across the bar. Nico gave a tired smile, before holding up two fingers. "A coke for me, and" Nico jerked his head, motioning to the blonde, "And another of what he's having for him."
The blonde looked over in surprise, his expression becoming one of shock as he realized the man with the Italian accent was the same as the singer.

Nico heard a full glass hit the counter-top, and Nico nodded his thanks to the bartender, who huffed when Nico didn't give him his full attention.
Nico ignored him, turning about three quarters to face the blonde, and noticed the non-alcoholic beverage being placed in front t of the blonde rather harshly. He leaned on one arm, letting his gaze wander, smirking as he noticed the blush that highlighted the freckles sprinkled around the shorter blonde's cheek.

The blonde was muscular, and broad shouldered, but shorter than Nico by a couple inches. His hair was a golden blonde, curling around his face, beautifully framing it. His dazzling cyan eyes and tanned skin covered in gold sun spots was attention grabbing.

"So," Nico started, and the blonde jerked in surprise, and Nico once again caught a glimpse of the blue that was so easy to get lost in. "What's someone like you sitting over here, all alone for?"
The blonde blushed, stuttering, and Nico smirked.
"I mean, you look like someone that would be dancing." Nico leaned closer to the blonde's ear, his breath causing the blonde's hair to flutter. "Dancing in the center of the crowd, right where I could see them." The blonde shivered, as the cold metal of a ring that was slipped through Nico's lip brushed the side of his ear. He had to stifle a moan, as Nico nipped his earlobe, the breath from his chuckle curling gently over his skin.

Nico knew exactly what he was doing to the other man, and he's only getting started. "C'mon. Why don't we go somewhere else?"
Nico got up, pulling the blonde by the hand, and leading him outside, ignoring the catcalls from his band members that were still there. He glanced at the blonde smirking more as he saw the bright blush, that had slightly diminished, return full force.

Once outside, Nico pushed the blonde against the wall, pinning his hands near his head, one of Nico's legs in between the blonde's. The said boy shuddered, the feel of the rough brick through his button down heightening the feeling of the situation. He looked up at the raven haired boy through his blonde lashes.

Nico gave the boy a genuine smile, and the boy smiled back. Nico was nearly blinded by shining white teeth, and chuckled. The boy under him giggled, and Nico's breath hitched. It was the cutest, sweetest sound Nico had ever heard.

Nico smirked, leaning closer. "What's your name, Cutie? I'm Nico."
The blonde smiled shyly, "Will. And you have a pretty name."
Nico hummed in reply, already in love with how Will's voice sounded, melodious and smooth, rivaling his own gruff and husky voice. "Well Cutie, what d'ya say about coming with me?"
Will practically beamed, arching against Nico's hand, one of which had slid to the lower back of the smaller male. Will leaned up as best as he could, surprising Nico with his burst of confidence, as he pressed his lips to the older male's. Nico instantly responded, kissing back eagerly, pressing the blonde back against the wall once again.

Will managed to slow the starving kiss, making Nico savor the soft lips against his own, softening the kiss. Nico whined, before snapping himself out of it. How did the blonde manage to control the kiss?! Nico didn't speed up though, keeping the slower pace. Will finally had to pull away, tilting his head up as he breathed.
Nico didn't stop, immediately moving the smaller man's jaw, kissing down to his neck.
"Nico," Will breathed, eyes closing. Nico hummed against his neck in reply, pulling a gasp from the blonde. Will gently pushed the black haired man away, but kept his hands on his chest, trying - and failing - to hide the happy surprise at the muscles felt under his tank. Though Will shouldn't have been surprised, Nico's arms were well muscled. Will ignored Nico's smirk at his reaction, but was unable to hide the blush that spread across his face. Nico laughed gently, and Will looked up at him.

Nico pecked the other man's lips, before pulling Will by the hand to a sleek back car. He opened the door for the other boy, bowing exaggeratedly, and Will rolled his eyes, but got in. Nico closed the door, before practically jogging around the front of the car. Nico slid in, making sure his companion was buckled, before pulling out of the parking lot, heading to his apartment.

And when Nico woke the next morning with Will wrapped in his arms, he was happy. And the next morning. Those mornings increased over the months, until Nico spent more time in Will's apartment than at his own. Until Nico had more clothes in Will's apartment than in his own. And the time Nico spent home he would have to search for simple items, usually sweatshirts, because he'd forgotten where they were - he'd usually find Will wearing one that afternoon, when he went over.
The feeling of putting everything into boxes wasn't unfamiliar to them, but this time it wasn't to move somewhere else entirely. It was because they were moving in together. To always have mornings where they'd wake up in each other's arms.

And when, one morning, Nico woke with a third person under the blankets, snuggled in between Will and himself, who was about nine years old, Nico knew that he had made the right decision all those years ago.
