I started this book when I was reading the FIRST Heroes of Olympus book roughly two years ago. Now here I am, September 16th, 2022, which is nearly two years since September 25th, 2020, and I am finally done with Trials of Apollo!

Yeah, so umm, it's been 8 months, so umm... my bad

Anyways, here's part 2

Will's eyes were saucers as Nico kissed him. 'This can't be real!' He thought. Before the kiss can register in his brain, it was over. Will stares at Nico with a mix of overly flustered and shocked. "What the -"

"Sorry... I umm..." Nico promptly jumps up and runs to the bathroom, leaving Will flustered and confused.

Nico sits in the bathroom freaking out. He just kissed his ex! Someone he said he'd never kiss or see again. He looks at the ring on his finger, which is from his current fiance, and he frowns from the guilt.

Here he was kissing Will fucking Solace as if he were 18 again while he's currently engaged to be married in the fall. Life can't get any crazier.

"Are you my daddy?"

Will looks up from his charts and looks at the little girl. She truly was the perfect mix of him and Nico. Her light brown hair resembled his hair before he was claimed by Apollo, her dark brown eyes so deep and warm like Nico's before his sister died, and her facial structure was all Will other than her nose. She had Nico's button nose.

"Yes I am, hun," Will said going to examine her scars and bruises. "You had quite a nasty fight. What happened if you don't mind me asking?"

"Oh! Papa and I were walking through man... man..." Will watches her pout and her face contort as she tries to say Manhattan. "I don't remember what it called, but we were walking through the city when this big scary thing started following me and Papa. Papa told me to stay close to him cause it was a monster. When we were attacked and Papa fought with this big sword! It was so cool! However, the big scary monster threw me against the wall, and Papa put us in a shadow. Now I'm here."

"It's called shadow traveling Amore mio." Nico said, listening to the whole story.

"Oh yeah! Papa said he'll teach me if I have the powers. He says I have more of my daddy's powers than his, which he says is unfortunate, but secretly loves!"

Nico shakes his head fondly, and Will just smiles saying, "That you do. You definitely have my healing abilities."

"Alright, Bambina, get some rest. You had a long day." Nico said, kissing her head careful of her scars.

When Will and Nico were finally alone, they just stared into one another's eyes. Will leans in to kiss Nico, and Nico backs away and says, "we can't."

"Why not?" Will asked, backing away embarrassed by being rejected.

"I'm engaged."
