"I'm gonna ask you one more time, tell me the truth." Max demanded kicking Nico again. Nico held his side where bruises had been formed.
"I . . . Wasn't- looking at him." He struggled out.
Max punched him.
"P-Please stop." Nico whimpered.
Max looked down at him.
"No." He kicked him.
"If you l- . . . Love me- then please s-stop." Nico said weakly. Max lowered his fist slowly.
Nico sighed in relief, but tensed up as Max sat down next to him.
"I . . . I don't want you to be afraid, but I just can't help but lose control with you. I want you to myself. Only me, no one else. I can't lose you." Max spoke.
You lost me the day you first hit me, Nico thought.

A couple more classes went by, it was only after school that when it happened.
Someone grabbed Nico's wrist, quickly pulling him into an empty classroom. They shut the door behind them. Nico whimpered as he prepares to be hit. But it never came.
"What's happening to you?" A familiar voice asked. It was soft and gentle, Nico's heart sped up as it always did when he was around.
"Nico Di Angelo, I have a right to suspect somethings wrong! You're my friend and I care, even if you think I don't, I do! Don't try to tell me that BS about social anxiety, I've seen you have social anxiety but that wasn't it!" Will said worriedly. Nico looked up into those sky blue eyes. "I'm sorry..." Nico apologized.
"Don't tell me you're sorry, just tell me what's wrong!" Will teared up.
Don't say sorry? It's all I know how to do, Nico thought.
Will sighed and knelt down, he brushed a hand along side Nico's face, his face with a longing expression.
His hands were not like Max's. They were warm, and gentle, not rough and cold. Will smiled a little as Nico leaned into the hand. "Will?" He asked cautiously. "Yeah sunshine?" He said quietly. "It's . . . It's Max." He choked out.

Will furrowed his brows together,
"What about Max?" He asked.
"He's been-" Nico started, but froze as someone opened the door.
"Well, wasn't that a nice exchange between friends." Max spat.
