Nico woke up to his phone ringing. He groaned, rolling over to cuddle up with Will and pouted when he realized Will wasn't there.

He sighed, reaching over and grabbing his phone, not bothering to check who was calling before answering.

"Hey, Neeks," he heard, making him smile.

"Will," he hummed, closing his eyes. There was a pause.

"Are you still in bed? Babe, is one in the afternoon," Will said, voice scolding, Nico only hummed, making Will sigh, "Well, listen, I have some people coming over for a little study session and I was wondering if you could do me a favor and tidy the apartment up a bit? At least do some dishes?"

"Sure thing, baby," Nico mumbled, making Will laugh. Nico smiles into the pillows.

"Cute," Will sighed, "okay, I have to go. Don't forget to clean."

"Mmm."

"I love you!"

"Love you, too," Nico replied, and with that, the call ended. Nico let his phone drop on the bed and he rolled onto his side, snuggling into the blankets. He didn't want to get up and clean, but he also didn't want Will to be upset with him. He never asked Nico to do much, and it's not like their apartment was that messy anyway.

Sighing, he got up out of bed, stretching his arms above his head, then walked out to the kitchen. He quickly unloaded and loaded the dishwasher, grabbing the nearest bottle of soap and putting it in before letting the dishwasher run.

He quickly does a few other things, like taking out the trash and wiping down the counters, before he goes to take a quick shower to wake up.

when he walks back out to the kitchen, he gasps.

There was soap absolutely everywhere, continuously seeping from the dishwasher. He rushes through the bubbles and turns it off, running a hand through his hair, unsure what he was supposed to do.

He hesitates before calling Will.
