Will was taking inventory of the infirmary when Nico walked in.

He looked nervous, a frown set on his face as he shut the door behind him. Will frowned himself, setting his clipboard down and pushing the box in front of him to the side.

"You okay?" He asked, and Nico nodded, taking a deep breath as he sat down on the cot, "what's going on?" Will asked instead, standing and walking over, pulling a chair over an sitting in front of Nico.

"Uhm," Nico started, frowning down at his hands as he fiddled with his sleeves, "I just, uh, need to talk to you about something."

"Okay," Will mumbled, nodding as he looks at Nico, watching as he takes a deep breath.

"And this isn't. . really something I've told anyone," he said, "at all, and uh," he swallows, not looking at Will, "It's not really. . something I'm completely, uh, p-proud of, uh, I guess, or comfortable with, so if it- if it could stay between us? Maybe?"

"Of course," Will agreed, nodding, and Nico looked over at him again, hesitating before nodding. He drops his hands onto the cot he's sitting on, tapping a random pattern, and Will wants nothing more than to reach forward and grab his hand.

"Uh, so," he glanced at Will but quickly looked away again, "I'm kind of, uh, g-gay?" Will perked up a bit, eyebrows raising in surprise.

"You are?" he asked, and Nico shifted, looking at the ground as he nodded. Will smiles a bit, biting his lip to try and conceal it. He doesn't realize he hasn't said anything, or that Nico seems to be panicking, until Nico's standing up.

"Nico?" Will asked, standing as well with a frown.

"I'm sorry," Nico said, "I'm sorry this was probably a bad idea," He mumbled, and Will was quick to shake his head, grabbing Nico's hand with a frown as he turned to leave.

"It's not a big deal," he says, "I mean, it is, but not in like, a bad way. I mean, I'm bisexual." Nico pauses, turning to look at him fully.

"You are?" he asked, and Will nodded.

"Yeah, I am, it's not something I really hide but I don't go around shouting it either you know?" He says, and Nico nods, "People are pretty okay with it. At least at camp half blood," Nico looks at him, unbelieving.

"I still don't think I want to tell anyone else," he mumbles, and Will's nods, smiling.

"And that's totally okay. I won't tell anyone. But I just want you to know, it's okay. It isn't the nineteenth century anymore, you know? Things are different and people are more open to the idea. And besides, if and when you do decide to come out, I and the rest of your friends have your back if anyone is rude, because the seven know I'm bi and they're all cool with it," Will finishes, giving a large smile.

Nico smiles a bit in return, nodding. After a second, he leans forward and wraps his arms around Will. It took him a second to actually realize what was happening, but when he did, Will smiled blindingly bright, tightly winding his arms around Nico.

Nico pulled back after a minute, face flushed as he tucked a strand of black hair behind his ear.

"Thank you, Will," he said, a small smile on his lips.

"Of course, Neeks," he said, and Nico nodded, saying a quiet bye as he left, and a small, hesitant peck on Will's cheek.
