It was Nico's own fault, really. But he didn't really care. He didn't even know he leg was broken until Will had told him. Aren't you not supposed to be able to walk on broken legs? Sure it hurt but. .

"Stop moving!" Will said angrily, and Nico looked down at him from where he sat on the cot.

"I didn't mean to break my leg, Will," Nico said, frowning, "you don't get to be mad at me."

"I told you no shadow travel," he says, pulling the gauze he was wrapping around his leg tighter then necessary, making Nico his in pain, "and what did you do? You shadow traveled, and you landed on the top of a tree, and you fell and broke your leg." Nico shrugs.

"It was an accident." Will huffs at his reply, finally looking up at Nico with a glare.

"Why can't you ever listen to me? Why can't you just do what I tell you to do so you stop getting hurt? And how the hell did you not know your leg was broken? Why didn't you come to me when it started hurting?"

"I figured it'd fix itself soon enough," he shrugged, frowning a bit as Will glared a bit more, "Will, come on, I'm seventeen. It's not about me just straight up ignoring you, I just," He shrugs again, "and I still want to explore my powers, you know? I want to be in full control of them and I can't do that if I'm not using them months on end," Nico said, and Will looked back down at Nico's leg, working to wrap it. Nico frowned a bit more, "are you mad at me?" He asked.

"I'm not exactly happy with you right now," he stated with a huff, "but. . I'm happy you're okay. And that it's just a broken leg, I guess. Just try to be more careful okay?" He asked, pausing in his work to look up at Nico, who nodded with a small smile. Will let out a sigh, leaning up and pressing a gentle kiss to Nico's lips, making him smile, "you're lucky I love you," he mumbled on his lips, and Nico giggled.

"I know," he said, pecking his lips. Will smiled and shook his head, sitting back down to finish up Nico leg. When he was done, he stood.

"You need to wait for the cast to dry, alright? Then you're going in you're cabin and waiting for you leg to fully heal. Then you can go batshit crazy with your powers," Nico laughed at that, Will smiling down at him. Nico bit his lip before puckering his lips, signaling he wanted a kiss. Will smiled as he leaned down and pressed their lips together.
