Nico watched as Will drew the string of the bow he was holding back, one eye closing as he aimed. It was a minute or so before he let the string go, arm drawing back.

Jason nudged him, a small smirk on his face, and Nico blushed while socking him in the arm.

"Ow," he complained, moving a hand to his arm. Will turned to look at them with a smile.

"Wanna give it a try?" He asked, holding the bow out for Nico. He nodded, walking up and taking it.

"So how do I do this?" he asked, looking at the bow. Will raised an eyebrow, smiling.

"Were you not watching? I just showed you," he said, and Nico blushed.

"I was watching," Jason snorted behind him, and Nico turned his head to glare at him. Will laughed, shaking his head, grabbing an arm guard and handing it to Nico.

"Put this on," he instructed, and Nico did, Will grabbing an arrow for him. He helped Nico put the arrow on, showing him where it should rest.

When it came to pulling the string back, Will came up behind Nico and put his hand of his, helping him draw the arrow back. Nico blushed, not focusing on what he probably should be. He swallowed thickly as Will murmured instructions for him quietly, feeling his breath on the back of his neck.

After a minute or so, he drew back, telling Nico to let the string go, which he did. It landed around the red ring, and Will smiled.

"You want to try to do it yourself?" Will asked, turning to look at Nico, who simply nodded, his entire face red.

fun fact ya girl shoots a bare recurve bow (iydyf the pic is me but you prolly guessed that) and with recurve bows, if you string it wrong, the ends can like,,, flap back and break your jaw it's terrifying and the one thing I don't like about archery but anyway
