This is an AU/Crossover between my book, Solivagant, and SpruceWolf's A Touch Of Darkness. While the spoilers when it comes to Solivagant will (probably) be minor, there are heavy spoilers for the fifteenth chapter of her book, and perhaps even beyond that. So please, go read AToD first. You won't regret it :D

I started this as a simple oneshot, since our two main characters... well, let's just say they're frighteningly similar, and both need piles upon piles of hugs. Then that oneshot became a twoshot, and I realized... I really like having our boys together, and the ramshackle story I managed to cough up had potential to become a proper story. I wasn't going to post this on Wattpad originally, but it's a little easier than throwing google doc after google doc at my poor, dear wolf-writer friend. And it means that others may read it if they so wish, I suppose—

So here we are: Solace, the second project that I never thought I would have, and the one I am endlessly happy I found myself writing. Is it planned out? Not really. Do I have any idea what I'm doing? Never. Is it going to be polished? Probably not. But nevertheless, I hope anybody who might decide to read this (after AToD, of course) will find it as fun as I do.
