The Next 3 Years

The next three years were some of the best in her life. She was with Keefe and completely forgot about Fitz. She went on dates, had late nights and the best nights were when they got to go with Silveny and her Alicorn family, and just feel free. Be free to be themselves and to be with each other.

One night, when they went outside to play with Wynn and Luna. Keefe was acting super weirdly. She asked what was wrong and he shook her off. Then Silveny asked them to come and fly with her. They both readily agreed.

They flew for hours. Until the sun turned the clouds a light pink and the sky a sapphire blue. This was Sophies' favorite time of day when the clouds turned soft like cotton candy.

"How has your day been?" Keefe asked.

"Not the best. I had to bathe the Verminion. It wasn't fun. But then Dex left me an elixir that dyed Iggy ice blue. Now he also has glitter in his fur, it's adorable." She smiled. That had been pretty cool. Ice blue had been her new favorite color for a while. Ever since Fitz had been a jerk, her favorite color wasn't going to be about him.

"How has your day been?", she asked returning the question.

"Better now that I get to be with you." That made her smile. She leaned back against him. He kissed her forehead. She felt him take a deep breath and she sat up.

"Can I ask you something?"

"Anything.", she hoped it was one thing in particular, as she turned around to face him.

"Sophie Elizabeth Foster, I have loved you since I saw you in that hallway," he paused and reached into his pocket. She sucked in a breath.

"I love you so much, and I want to be with you for the rest of my life. So, Sophie Elizabeth Foster, will you marry me?" He asked looking up. She was so happy, so blissfully happy. She said...

"Yes! Yes!! Yes!!! I love you." Happy tears were streaming down her face. She kissed him. It was the perfect moment. The best moment.

They spent the rest of the day flying with each other. She was so happy. When they landed picked her up bridal style and spun around. He kissed her and she kissed back. When they went inside, she told Grady and Edaline, and they said they were happy for her. Keefe had asked them beforehand if it was ok, and Grady surprisingly agreed first.

"So what now?", Sophie asked. She was going to tell all her friends about everything.

"I think I should go home and tell Ro. We'll talk more about it tomorrow," he said as he leaned down for a kiss. She kissed him, he picked her up and spun her around before shaking Grady's hand and placed a gentle kiss on Edaline's hand. He left, and Sophie immediately ran up and hugged her parents. They were all so happy that night.

When she went upstairs to hail Dex, there was another note, again in Keefe's messy handwriting.

Dear Sophie,

Thank you for saying yes.

Love,

Keefe

She grabbed a pen and quickly scribbled on the back:

Dear Keefe,

Thank you for asking.

Love,

Sophie

She let it float down to Panakes tree, where she suspected Keefe was waiting. She loved him so much. She ran over to her nightstand and grabbed her imparter.

"Show me Dex."

"Hey, Soph. Why do you look so happy?" She told him everything, about their flight, the proposal, and that Grady agreed.

"Wow! That's great news! I proposed to Biana yesterday, we were walking the dome for Atlantis, her favorite thing to do at night. She stopped at her favorite viewing place, and I got down on one knee, and asked. She immediately said yes. Fitz is the only one without a girlfriend, much less getting married." They both smiled at that.

"I heard he was dating Stina. Serves him right," they both laughed.

The next day, she spent with Biana. They both talked about how magical these last three years had been. Then they went to the dessert cafè and had Mallowmelt and lushberry juice. That was just amazing. She had a question for Biana.

"Biana, will you be my maid of honor?", she asked holding her breath.

"Of course! Will you be mine?"She asked laughing.

"Of course!" They both laughed and hugged each other.

Sophie knew that for the first couple of years in the Lost Cities had been rough with the Neverseen, but now she had friends and a family that loved her, she also a future husband that loved her to the moon and back. Finally, things were starting to look up.

a/n: Sorry my entire story is only a few chapters, please let me know if you want a sequel! I would talk about Dex and Biana's family and Sokeefe's family of course. I may bash Fitz's life a little bit!
