Chapter 22-Keefe

Biana: we need to meet up now!

Keefe: why?

Biana: becuz!

Keefe: that's not even an answer.

Biana: just meet me at the park in five 😒

Keefe looked up from his phone. Whatever Biana wanted, it seemed serious.

So he got ready, and went to the park.

He scanned the area to look for Biana. He spotted her, and jogged over.

"Why did you ask me to come here?" He asked.

" You need to ask Sophie! " she exclaimed.

"Ask her what?" Keefe was confused.

" Ask her to the prom!  Duh. " Biana placed her hand on her hip. "You like her."

Keefe blushed. "I don't really." He said quietly .

"Sure you don't. So when are you gonna do it?" Biana looked at him eagerly.

"Dude. You just dumped this on me. Who knows." He stared at her.

Biana snapped her fingers. "I've got it."

"What is it?" Keefe asked.

Biana smiled. She whispered her plan on his ear.

"You really think that's gonna work?" Keefe didn't think so.

Biana nodded her head and flashed another smile. "Absolutely. What could go wrong?"

                                                      ****

The next day at school, Keefe and Biana put the plan in motion.

"Are you sure about this?" Keefe whispered to Biana during their math class.

" Don't worry about it. It's going to go according to plan. "

"If you say so." Keefe responded unconvinced.

The bell rang, and they got up and exited the class.

A bunch of people were saying that they were glad school was over for the day Keefe was just focused on the plan.

Biana went up to Sophie and began talking. Sophie wasn't really listening, just nodding her head.

"Soph!" Keefe called out.

Sophie looked up. She looked relieved.

"Hi Keefe." She said. "Get me out of here!" She whispered hissed.

" So, Sophie how about we go to that coffee shop you wanted to go to. " Keefe suggested.

"That," she paused, " That sounds nice. " She looked up and smiled.

Keefe smirked. "Let's go."

" Bye Biana! " Sophie turned around. "Wanna meet up later at my house?"

"Sure!" She agreed.

Keefe and Sophie walked down to the coffee shop, and ordered. While they waited, they talked.

"How is Fitz doing?" Sophie asked .

"He's doing the same as always."

Sophie drooped. " I feel bad that he can't go to the prom. I don't wanna go with him, but at least he would've been able to go. " She rested her chin upon her hand.

"Well, you can't change the past I guess." Keefe said.

"Yeah. I still feel bad though."

Breaking the tension, the waitress delivered their drinks.

Sophie looked up. "That's it! I'll give him a surprise on prom night. It's not like I'm going."

" Wait, didn't Biana say that you were going with her? "

"Oh yeah." Sophie sighed.

" Speaking of prom, " Keefe started.

Sophie sat up. "Oh no! I've got to go. What were you saying?"

Keefe grimaced. "Nothing."

Sophie have him a quick smile, and ran out the door.

Keefe sighed, payed the bill, and left.

Poor Keefe. He's trying so hard.

Btw sorry I haven't updated almost a week. I'll try to be better at it.

Bye y'all!
