Phil couldn't help but smile as he watched the school burn.

The glorious flames danced and wavered and clawed at the sky, plumes of smoke escaping into the clouds. Crackles and hisses were drowned out by screams of panic. Why were they panicking? It wasn't like there was anyone left inside. Phil was a meticulous planner; he had made sure to pull this little stunt when everyone was outside for the winter sports day. A dark kind of pleasure scratched at his stomach as he viewed the destruction he had caused. How beautiful it was, the crushing of what was once oh so powerful.

"Hey Phil, are you alright?"

Instantly, Phil's shoulders shook slightly and his face crumpled. He whipped around and buried his face in his friend's shoulder, chest heaving, tears streaming down his face.

"Hey, hey it's alright. It's all alright," Louise said gently, soothingly stroking his hair. Phil tried not to grimace through his fake tears. Everything about Louise was so soft, and round, and gentle, and motherly. It made him sick to the core. Phil softly pulled away and rubbed at his red eyes.

"This place, w-was like a second home to me," he whimpered, hiding his sick glee. The thrill and danger of this pretence always excited him.

"I understand, Phil. But don't worry, the fire fighters will be here soon,"

Phil just about managed to stifle a snort of contempt. By the time those idiots arrived, half the school would've burned down.

"AAAAAAAAAHBHAH IM ON FIREEEE," a voice screeched. Phil whipped around, his heart pounding. This wasn't supposed to happen! But then Phil spotted who was making the commotion. That idiot clown, prancing around like a fool.

"Pfft! You all totally fell for that! Lighten up a little!! This is a stand against the tyranny of the education system!" Daniel Howell struck a pose, and Phil found himself smirking. At least that dunce felt the same way about this stupid school as he did.

The brunette caught Phil staring and flashed him a cheeky smile, before sauntering over.

"Oh would you look who we have here! It's secret villain boy!"

Secret what now?? Before Phil could reply, Louise stepped in.

"What are you on about? Phil is the softest, sweetest, cutest person on the planet! He's wearing a flower crown for heavens sake!" The blonde retorted hotly.

"Oh yeah? Then why did I see this soft, sweet, cute person smiling sadistically at the sight of the school burning?!" Dan flapped his arms around to emphasise his point.

"You're as sick as everyone says," Louise muttered, rolling her eyes.

"I'm not sick! I took all my vitamins!"

He pushed his curly fringe away from his face and looked intently into Phil's eyes. Phil wriggled uncomfortably; those brown eyes felt like they were glaring into his soul.

"Yep! Those blue eyes are as cold and heartless as they get!" Dan said gleefully. Phil frowned, unsure what to do or where to look. He'd never been exposed like this before.

Dan gasped. "Did sweet wholesome little Phil just frown at me? How horrible!"

Louise was paying attention now. Phil immediately made his frown softer. "I'm just upset that you're accusing me like that! Why on earth would I be smiling at such destruction?"

"I was wondering that as well!" Dan grinned. Phil turned his face away and pretended to be on the verge of tears.

"Look what you've done! You made him upset! Are you happy now?" Louise hissed, putting an arm around Phil. Dan smirked, unfazed.

"Not happy, just intrigued. See you around,"

And with that, the dunce disappeared.
