"I may have wanted to watch Star Wars but I am definitely not complaining about this," John whispered in Alexander's ear. Alex couldn't help but laugh at that. The movie Angelica decided to have us watch was the least like Star Wars that a movie could get. Alex knew what Angelica was doing the second he saw her putting the DVD in. It was Mean Girls. Eliza was completely unsuspecting, and got excited when she saw the movie getting pulled out. But Alex saw the smug little smile on Angelica's face. 

The second Janice said her iconic line Alex and Angelica coughed back and forth. They kept coughing, actually, until Peggy yelled at them to shut up. They both briefly glanced at Eliza but she just looked confused. The whole group laughed their way through the movie, especially when Peggy said "same" during Karen's ESPN bit.

Once the movie finished everybody just talked and laughing John asked Alex and Angelica about the coughing. Alex made eye contact with Angelica and raised his eyebrows. She just shrugged.

"Well, it was after school today and I walked in on something I probably shouldn't have," Alexander started. "Let's just say that somebody in this room turns out to be very much 'too gay to function'," he made eye contact with Eliza, who looked mortified.

"And this person is who?" Peggy asked. Angelica laughed as Eliza just shook her head frantically. 

"I mean, I already knew. The only reason we ever dated was so that we could get Maria Lewis to like her," Alex said casually. Eliza buried her face in her hands as everybody's eyes shot towards her.

"Eliza, is he giving you shit or is this for real," John asked.

"I mean, it's real, I was making out with Maria. And, I mean, I am gay..." Eliza trailed off blushing. Alex felt kind of bad.

Everybody was accepting, and soon the topic got dropped. Eliza didn't seem bothered but Alex was. At one point in the night a majority of people were in the kitchen, but Alex and Eliza were not.

"Hey, Eliza?" Alex said. She looked over at him and raised her eyebrows. "Um, are you upset I did that or anything..? You know, told them you were gay..."

Eliza laughed. "Nah, I was gonna do it sooner or later," She laughed. "God, you're such a softie!" She laughed, punching him in the arm lightly. "Hey, did you ever tell John about the letters?" she whispered.

"Um, I don't think so.." Alex answered, sounding unsure of his answer. Eliza looked confused but everybody walked in the room with pizza.

"The food's here and we have a Netflix series to start," Angelica squealed. Alexander looked at her, completely dumbfounded.

"It's almost one in the morning!" Alex exclaimed.

"Really? Fine, we can go to sleep after pizza," Angelica sighed. "Who all is everybody sleeping with?"

Everyone joined up as normal, but the Schuyler sister debate was intense. In the end Angelica and Eliza were together, Hercules and Lafayette were together, and it came down to the last three of them.

"I want Alex," Peggy stated with a determined tone. "He's like a teddy bear." She poked him in the side. Alex winced. He knew exactly what she was referring to. He looked at Eliza to save him.

"Okay, nope, sorry Peg," Eliza told her. "That lost you all Alexander privileges." Alex breathed a sigh of relief. Peggy pouted and Alexander mouthed a silent 'Thank you' to Eliza.

Alex turned to John. "Welp, it looks like we get to be sleepover buddies again," Alex said as though that wasn't the most childish sentence ever. John just chuckled and nodded his head.

"Looks like it."

Cringeeee but I think the next part will be better
