A/n: So the first couple of chapters might be based of the first couple of episodes but with little twists so yea just letting you guys know, so this is based of 'once upon a princess' episode which was one of the first, (see what I did, no, okay) big ones. Enjoy!

Sofia's P.O.V.
Today was my first day at being a princess at Royal Prep. I was really nervous and really excited at the same time, it was really scary for me but I'm sure I can do anything with my step siblings beside my side well I hope so anyway. As I'm entering the school someone above me calls out to me but I don't know this I look around trying to find the voice until they say look up and I look up and see the three head mistress fairies Flora, Fauna and Merryweather.

"Princess Sofia," an unknown voice proclaimed. I looked around and noticed no one there until they called upon me;

"Up here dear"

"Welcome to Royal Prep Academy."

"Oh thank you"

"You'll do just fine learning how to be a princess trust us,"

"Good cause I need to be one by Friday"

"Well you see...

"Time for your first class, dear." Says Flora
"Good luck." The other two say.

"Class, we have a new student.How should we greet her?" Asks miss Flora.
" Good morning."
" Good morning."
" Good morning."
" Good morning."
" Good morning. Ooh!" I exclaim as I drop my books.
'Great' I think 'my first day and I already stuffed up.' But then some princes come and help me, I smile gratefully at them.

"Hey I'm Zander" one says.

"Nice too meet you I'm Sofia..." I drop another book before continuing ",the cluts" I introduce myself.

"Hahha, maybe I'll see you at lunch" he says as he leaves back to his desk.

The class goes by and it's finally the bell signalling the end of classes and the start of break.

As I was talking to some of the other princess James came up to me.

"Hey Sofia wanna try the enchanted swing set? It swings itself."

"Um, sure James."

I got on, 'oh how exiting' I thought but I still felt uneasy. It started swinging slightly higher and I couldn't help but let out a little laugh of excitement. Then it got higher and I let out sounds of fright until I was swung right off the swing and heading straight for the fountain or so I thought.

"Hugo look out!" They cried but it was too late by the time the prince looked over I was slamming into him, straight into the fountain we both went. When I opened my eyes again I saw big hazel ones looking back at my blue ones. We continued staring at each other for a second more before I came to my senses and got off him, and out.

"Well thanks princess now I'm a dripping mess," he angrily said before exiting the fountain.

"Sorry" I said only audible to him ",nice one James you got me."

I quickly rushed off "I'm going to go and dry off"

I sighed, my mind racing until I was distracted by chirping noises and noticed a baby bird chirping crazily, so I started analysing the situation and realised it was a simple task of handing the baby back to its frantic mother. As I was leaving I heard a 'thank you' and got really confused 'perhaps it's the fall messing with me' I concluded.

As I was getting in the coach I ignored James and kept eye contact on a down low. The second we got home I rushed out into the garden only to find mum there with... Ruby and Jade.

"Ruby,Jade," I exclaimed.

"Sofia," they said in synchronisation.

" I thought you could use a few familiar faces, so I invited them over," mum explained.

"Thanks mum," I gratefully say.

She gave me a smile in return. We talked and laughed. They asked me how it was being a princess and told them it wasn't as easy as I thought. We were in the middle of a giggle fest when James decided to show up. Ruby and Jade sighed in content while I glowered at him.

"What do you want?" I questioned.

"Look Sofia I'm really sorry for what I did so I'm going to make it up by helping you learn all you need to know for the ball," he answered with a gentle smile on his face. I smiled back and agreed, by the end I was bowing as gracefully as a swan, the only thing left was to learn how to ballroom dance.

The next day we were in class and as the bell went miss  Merryweather kept me back. 'Oh no I thought what did I do wrong was it when I ... but I didn't get to finish my train of thoughts because I was interrupted by miss Merryweather calling upon me.

"Sofia I want to congratulate you on your hard work, I have never seen someone so strong headed and passionate as you, I'm so proud of you I just wanted to congratulate you," she said.

"Thank you, I couldn't have done it without the help" I thanked ", but I best be on my way." I curtsied and left, then broke into a speed walk/jog as I remembered I had dancing lessons which I so desperately needed, when I ran into something, or someone.

"Oh my! I'm so sorry," I said hurriedly, I looked up to see the same prince I had fallen on top of, just a few days ago in the fountain. He stuck his hand for me to grab. As he helped me up he said ", well if it isn't princess clutsy, you know princess you should really watch where your going" he growled. I blushed in embarrassment at his comment.

"Sorry about that," I sincerely said.

"Well I'm going to go before I get in more trouble than I already am, see you around your royal clumsiness," he disregarded.

I ran off once again to Popov's class and made it just in time. I would've enjoyed the class and learnt the waltz for my ball if it hadn't been the fact that I had ruined it all just because I was landed with trick dancing shoes thanks to Amber. I rushed to the coach glaring dangers at Ambers shoes. I ran away as fast as possible, but was stopped by dad.

"Sofia just the person I was looking for."

"Oh hey dad, can I help you?"

"Actually I just wanted to let you know I forgot to mention over dinner, your schoolmates are coming! You can show them what you've learnt so far and how far you've come in so little time"

"Ohh, thanks dad," I replied awkwardly before leaving.

I ran into my room, I was a mess.

"Oh Clover, what am I gonna do?" I questioned desperately. " Oh if only you understood me."

"Whoa princess can speak bunny," clover said, still chewing on his carrots, he hopped over to princess who had just gasped and now was a goldfish. It didn't take long to figure out it was her amulet who gave her the powers but she'd have to look into that further later.

"What's wrong princess?" Clover asked.

"Today's been a mess, first I bumped into Hugo again and I'm a cluts to him, then my dance class was ruined, and now dad just told me the whole school is coming!"

I sighed before falling back on my bed, whimpering.

"Hey I know today sounds like it went terrible but tonight will be magical," clover cheered.

"Magic... Clover you're a genius." I exclaimed rushing out.

"I am? I mean I am"

(I'm hoping you guys know what happens but here's a recap: so basically she goes to Mr Cedric asking for a spell making her a good dancer but instead he gives her a spell that makes the entire room fall into a deep sleep, but she doesn't know, so he can steal the Amulet of Avalor. Ambers dress rips so she doesn't attend. Sofia does spell, everyone in ballroom falls in deep sleep including mr Cedric. Sofia is in distress and so her amulet sends her princess Cinderella and she shows her amber and that they shouldn't hate each other and yea, then they take the spell book from mr Cedric's workshop, then Sofia fixes ambers dress and amber shows her how to waltz. then they say spell and save everyone Sofia and Amber are on good terms. Then they dance. Then the end but imma got more soooo)

IMPORTANT:
I'm going to start off from them dancing and they are dancing and swapping partners going in a circle.

I was having so much fun swinging and dancing around, with Amber, James, some of my new friends from royal prep. That I didn't realise who my next partner was until I heard his voice,

"Well if it isn't her royal highness of clumsytown," Hugo said.

"Oh hello, prince Hugo," I said as I curtsied.

"Sofia." He bowed.

We started dancing around each other light smiles on our faces.

"About-," I started but didn't finish

"Don't bring it up, don't ruin it," he said.

"Oh, sorry," I apologised.

He started laughing, "You apologise to much, until next time princess," he said, kissing my hand before handing me off to my next partner.

That night I was sighing in content, for what reason I don't know.

"Yo princess, why you breathing so loud?"

"I don't know maybe cause my ball went more then great," I happily said.

3rd person P.O.V

"Well then, goodnight Sofia," Clover said, but the princess was already in a peaceful sleep.
